LD59 — Signal

Peter's divine intervention by metalgear 2026-04-21T11:28:06Z

Very fun characters, good gameplay idea well realized and cute visuals!! I would have loved to see harder scenarios, but I can imagine it being hard for a 48 hours solo project!

Rouge Light by Kaijiro 2026-04-20T20:24:56Z

Unfortunately the game looks a bit broken in its web iteration, with some buttons being in weird positions and not being clickable. Also, the cars sometimes just get stuck and never move from their starting position.

This was a good idea for a game jam entry though, and clearly some thought was put in the game design and the AI for the cars. Shame that the limited time didn't allow for its full potential to be shown!

Very nice game, the mood was great and the concept is executed very well. Text was a bit hard to read on my screen, perhaps due to the pixel effect. Some calls felt like I couldn't find an entry at all into the registry, perhaps I missed something there myself though!

Simon Says by Paroxysmal 2026-04-21T11:21:07Z

Positives: - The visuals are very cool, especially when the pulsing lights bright up. It creates a very pleasing image. - The gameplay loop is simple but functional. As a core foundation to a game it seems pretty solid

Negatives: - Game feels a bit barren, and as someone else said the main difficulty is in navigating the maze.

I think for a compo game it is a very cool entry. This is the kind of "minigame" I would see fitting in a bigger game (imagine having to solve a puzzle in this vein in an old school Pokemon game!!)

Too Many Goblins! by Tykki19 2026-04-20T20:16:57Z

Had lots of fun! Didn't quite understand what the signals would do (not really explained in the tutorial), but the idea was quite clever and a very nice spin on the Tower Defence genre. Art and music were also nice.

Only problem was that some spawn configurations were kinda rigged, with the "Tower" to defend being out of range from any turret, making it impossible. Otherwise very cool game, it was a fun time!

Oooh that's indeed what I missed! Might try another run keeping that in account!

Unfortunately not possible to play with a trackpad, can't test the game

Good point about the copy paste! Will add a note about it on the entry page tomorrow!

Also I've seen a playtester drag all of the agents notes onto the main screen, that was a good workaround! If I had more time I'd have added a more convenient way to keep them at hand, but it was very tight!

NEON BREACH: Get the Signal Back by JoeGreen 2026-04-22T11:29:15Z

Cool visuals and music, also well thought out puzzles! I'm impressed you were able to build such a cool looking game by yourself in just 3 days!

Very fun entry!! The gameplay loop is fully realized and it could be a nice time killer! As someone mentioned, having more time gained with each gold found would be nice, but that's a small thing overall. Good job!!
