My score is 227s
197 secs here! I liked the flow-y feel of the herd and I was almost sweating trying to get them to where I wanted them to be  Given more time and polish, this could be a fun style to do for a bigger puzzle game.
190! I love the chunky line-art. The art-style is great. I wish there was some sound effects and maybe some obstascles and further decorations.
167s to get all the sheep in the pen :)
The idea is great and the flocking behaviour was very nice. The minimal animations worked well and it was nice to have a game that can be controlled simply by moving the mouse. If there were more levels it would be great.
I got them in there in 160 secs!
Great minds think alike - Our team also made a sheep-dog game!
Great sprites and super well executed, especially considering that you're running Compo and doing this all by yourself!! 5/5!
185 secs here! Great game and nice movement of the sheep! Also, I like being able to control the dog with the cursor. Our sheep game was more about wasd - but this game allowed me to think more like a dog - running back and forth. GG!
184s - Got stuck on the edges a few times (like the mouse leaving the embedded area).
This is a very cozy game with cute art. I also like the little sway animation. IMO little details like that add character and life to the game!
(I wrote a comment earlier but can't see it now so I'll try writing it again. If you see two copies that's why, sorry 😅)
208 seconds or so, which is not great but I tried :O
199 seconds here. It was kinda fun, I liked the squishy physics. I wish there was a wolf or something to come chomp down on those annoying sheep though...
Nicely done. I personally would have preferred keyboard controls I think, but that's not a big deal. If you had had more time it would have been fun to see some animations on the dog and sheep, and maybe a separate entrance where the sheep sometimes try to escape or something. But for what you got done it's pretty solid. Well done!
268s with eye tracking xD
Very cool idea and implementation! Worked very well and wasn't too frustrating :)
Looks like sheep and dogs were the actual theme, we made one too, which you tried out! Thanks for that!
Whew, that entrance was tiny, I often got several sheep stuck just outside, because their collision areas couldn't fit through the gate side by side  I liked that there weren't complicated controls to learn, although I might've liked to have some sort of sprint function. Great graphics, too. Nice work!
That's a good boy, I mean, that's a good start for a more complete game. I did it in about 180s. It would be interesting to see sheep having some kind of herd mentality and staying close together in groups, but as a programmer there's no naive implementation of that that wouldn't make my computer explode, so maybe that's for the best.
Nice game, it reminds me of the Puffle Roundup mini-game from Club Penguin. I like how the sheep here have collision with each-other, it forces you to be strategic with how many you try to herd into the pen at once. I got them all in 168 seconds on my run
Whew, herding is tougher work than it seemed, feels like I've been working like a dog. The game is fun! The herding behavior feels responsive, the sheep moving faster the closer you get makes for good feedback. The graphics are nice and simple, and very effective for a compo game. Though the fact they swing even while not moving make the animals feel like they're floating more than on the ground.
Had to play twice to get my time down from 292s to 200s. Those sheep sure like getting stuck in corners, haha.
Sorry for not playing this early enough to score it (got the deadline wrong). :-/
Anyway, I quite liked this one. The graphics are really nice and work well, as do the simple controls. I also liked it that there wasn't a time limit but one just tries to improve their record time, so I could just try things out on my own pace.
End screen would've been nice, and sounds and/or music nice extra also, but I totally understand the time pressure. And this was a great achievement working solo. Nice entry!
