some bug in i push my mouse quick through the plane,it can delete my health,Good game, last if plane can attack will more beautiful

qayndecim 2023-10-01 16:11

beautifully simple game, art is adorable and i love the way it ramps up in difficulty naturally. Very arcadey and fits the theme really well.

haydads 2023-10-02 08:20

@bayunyoubi that is by design, anytime the magnet touches the spaceship you will lose health. Using a circular motion around the ship might make it easier

@qayndecim thanks :)

Very nice, best tutorial sequence in a jam game ever!

Pretty fun game, I like Bullet hells, even if I did bad at some point and just instant died ! What could be interesting is an extra ability to control the magnet, like, pressing the mouse to get "more strength" (more ship speed) for like 1 or 2s, that could give an extra ability to dodge with more ability to self destruct, risk and rewards are fun

An other thing that you could add, is an option to make asteroids more visible (maybe a contrast filter with an ability to increase / decrease it), because, I don't know if it's my screen settings, it's hard to see them at some point.

Beside that, I really like your arts, pretty fun game, I love the concept, controlling your player with your mouse but getting damage if you get too close is a good idea, kinda reminds me of Snake and Asteroids. And talking about asteroid, seeing them bouncing of each other, so satisfaying !

Great entry !

Cool concept, great execution! I'm not a fan of the ship taking damage when the magnet bumps into it and some sounds definitely would've been the cherry on top, but this is super clean and well done. The tutorial also does a great job explaining things while also letting you get a feel for how the game controls.

Fun game! The tutorial is implemented very nicely, the gameplay is smooth, the wormholes look great, and the premise is very funny. I do wish there was sound though - having some sort of feedback when you take damage would help a lot. Overall great!

adamsmccall 2023-10-03 00:29

Very nice game, it looks polished and the artstyle is nice. The presence of the tutorial is really appreciated

It was harder than I thought to make the space ship avoid the magnet, its kinda counter intuitive in my brain. I only got to 113 points in 83.

don-juan-javier 2023-10-03 00:42

Cool little game loop! Love the colors

cheesepencil 2023-10-03 02:49

It looks nice and it plays nice! If I had to complain about something it would be the lack of any visual confirmation that you're being damaged.

kartik-kini 2023-10-03 15:09

Screenshot 2023-10-03 110834.png Simple game that fits the theme really well. I love how chaotic it gets, while still making me feel like I am in control. Also great job on the very clear tutorial! My only wish is that there was more visual feedback that you took damage.

dsfan 2023-10-03 15:53

First of all I like the UI with that animated vortex which is used in game. Secondly I like the ship movement, very responsive and intuitive. Some sort of audio feedback would be great for a game like this, wish you'd add some. I scored 100 in 60 seconds and enjoyed the play. Also I think that might not be the intended mechanics - to do 180 (but also receive a hit from magnet) but I liked using it :)

luksor 2023-10-03 16:24

Cool game! I like the innovative controls and that it can be played with just a mouse. It runs smoothly too.

thejookerful 2023-10-03 18:04

Super game, very fun. I find it clever that the magnet inflicts damage on us, pushing us to move away, but then we lose precision! The simplistic graphic style also fits perfectly with your game. Congratulation for this cool game ! :D

Just Love your start screen. Thank you for taking the time to make this I had a lot of fun playing it.

blinyadebil 2023-10-04 10:13

Simple, but fun. I like the combination of black background and colorful borders/wormholes.

martin-bousquet 2023-10-04 11:34

130 pts in 84s :)

loiclegrosfrere 2023-10-04 12:57

The game is very well finished and beautiful, I like the details like the effects when an asteroid hits a side

ttkayttis 2023-10-04 16:30

Though its simple gameplays while it felt really clean to play. Super awesome tutorial, especially for jam game! It would have felt quite a finished product if it had audio since other ways it is so clean. I would have liked some dmg visual since there especially since there was no audio ques.

silkworm-sweatshop 2023-10-04 16:45

Pretty fun controlling the ship this way. Like others have mentioned it would help to add some audio/visual feedback for things, it makes a world of difference.

sudocoffee 2023-10-05 03:07

It was neat having to avoid the cursor while controlling the ship, I thought that was the most unique aspect of the game. Agree about having more damage indication, but otherwise the UI is really clean.

bernhard 2023-10-05 10:55

Got 138 pt in 95 s :-)

thaprofesional 2023-10-05 11:00

Really cool - felt perfect to control - tight but kind of mushy while responding exactly enough to avoid asteroids. When I did hit them I felt like it was my fault. Difficulty ramped up really well.

Dug the take on the theme - **really** dug the "The spaceship would have just taken damage!" warning message.

Missed sound effects / music but had lots of fun.

fifut 2023-10-05 13:13

The idea of a magnet to attract the ship is original. The multicolored menus are beautiful

alec 2023-10-08 00:03

I appreciate how immediatly accessible this game is. The tutorial gets you going right into the fun real quick!

cassowary 2023-10-14 15:50

This is cute and simple! You've got lots of nice little details and it's well designed and fun to play.

I think some sound effects and maybe a little visual effect (particle effect or something) when you pick up a coin/heart would go a long way to making it feel more polished!

Well done!
