Very nice graphics and feedback, it looks really scary.Nice controls. Good game.
Loved the atmosphere, audio and graphics. The lightning animations/sound and rain gave it a great feel. I liked that you had a short window to try to memorise the current layout.
I'd be interested to see how you'd extend it with more time. I think it needs some sort of scoring (how fast can you do it) or urgency (you must complete it before the timer runs out).
Love the graphics and good sound. 25 levels seem like too much with out any new mechanics introduced...great entry regardless!
Very thematic. I played until level 15. Controls well, great graphics and audio, but I felt it lacked the pressure of losing. I found if I didn't like where a wall was I'd just wait out the lightning until I got an easier pathway
I wish the player moved a little faster but perhaps it would be too easy then. Really nice art and sound.
I love the graphics and lighting here. I also wish the player moved a bit faster or if there was a sprint.
player should really move faster. Graphics, lighting are nice.
I actually abandoned an idea because I wasn't sure I could pull it off and you pulled it off. The sound and lighting created a solid mood, but it did get a little repetitive after a while. I stopped at maze 6 or 7 so maybe there was more interesting stuff later. If so, it was a pacing issue.
The transitions between levels with the blur effect is great and fits the atmosphere.
The image noise gives a very good rendering
Thanks everyone for playing, rating and leaving feedback!
@rob6566 Was trying to implement enemies in the last 15 minutes but couldn't finish it in time. I think some kind of enemies or obstacles that appear over time and create some pressure to actually finish a maze quickly.
@paroxysmal In hindsight I agree, that 25 is too much. Was planning on adding some enemies in the later levels :)
@googlypoo Haha yea I started doing that too. Didn't have time to rethink the game-mechanics though :P
@wavertron @vimmagic @mdotedot Haha yea, the game definitely could use some form of upgrade system for the player speed / light range and some other things. Maybe if I'll add those things in a post-comp version :)
@matt-green Thanks! You didn't miss anything, the mazes just get bigger and require more keys to open the exit :)
@fifut Haha thanks, I wasted way too much time on that and got into quite a bit of time pressure implementing the menu in the end ;)
Love the atmosphere and style. Simple but crisp.
Amazing style! A bit more speed and some scary thing that would make you look for a way out faster would make this game a great horror game :)
I absolutely love this. The only thing you could improve is add a reason for me not to stand still and wait on a nice path to show up. Maybe something chasing me.
This is amazing! I love the idea, atmosphere, ... This is one of the best entries I played and rated so far!
Excellent game. As has been said above, I spent a lot of time standing still waiting for the maze to change rather than solving it. Got to level 17 but ran into some invisible walls. Was not sure if that was a bug or a feature. The graphic, sound and mood of the game are all really well done.
Super cool game, a unique concept and really great atmosphere
The idea is fun and I did have fun playing it. But on my computer the walk speed was really slow.
Just like other said before, you can just wait for a new path to be generated. Having something forcing you to move would have been a nice addition. Anyway, the graphics is good, and the atmosphere is great. Nice use of lights.
