A really nice twist on the tetris mechanic. The later puzzles where things don't need to fit perfectly were a nice twist and required you to think differently about the puzzles. Nice job.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD46 → Don't taste the lava

Yeah, really cool twist on tetris! The game got progressively more difficult quickly.
Very well polished - nice animations, perfect learning curve, no bugs I could see.
I finished the last level with 3 pieces left over.
I have to point out the rudimentary 3D graphics - but other than that, I found this game to be great. It had a such a great blend of thinking, experimenting and frantic block-placing that I couldn't help but play every level, even when the last few took me dozens of attempts. It's both simple and complex in the best ways.
Nice take on tetris :)
I really liked how you use the tetrominos! Some of the puzzles were quite difficult (which I enjoyed), and the cappacity to restart the level quick motivates you to try over and over again. Perhaps the music it's too much repetitive. Well job overall :).
unknown.png FINALLY! Check out my game to get insanity skills like me :) Ps: sorry if I just spoiled the last puzzle, just don't look
I am a fan of tetris, so I thought this was a cool puzzle game.brave_JTc5bEsbAo.png However there are two things that kind of irritating to me. First, I don't think there was a real need for the time limit. It just kind of made me restart for no reason. Second, there is no reason to not display all of the future blocks. it makes it so I just had to guess on the first try and memorize the blocks on subsequent tries. Despite that, this was a fun entry, and you had a good diversity of levels!

Showing off :)
Had a lot of fun with this! I love anything Tetris, and this was a neet twist. It felt like a proper puzzle game, with tetrominoes. I loved the "think outside the box" levels, they gave me a real "aha!" moment!
This is an interesting variation of Tetris. I like the idea that you don't have to fit perfectly the shapes, but find a way to cover the surface. As per the theme I find it a little off. The graphic is poor but the level design is very well made. Congrats!
I'm SO upset my computer froze when I was about to print the last stage done :(
By the way, excelent level design. Your entry was really good for being too well put together. Congratulations!
Im showing off! Idid it on 2nd try! The last level is easier than another one I can't remember... Great game even if it's only a timed Tetris clone with more mechanics. (For the haters : I like Tetris clones they present a different aspect of the game).
Great level design and mix of the theme and tetris ! The puzzles were kinda hard haha. Good job !
This is a great gam jame I think. There is a lot of content for it being in a short amount of time. There is also a lot of polish in the visuals. Great job!
A new look at the good and old Tetris. Nice game
This is a legitimately good puzzle game, well done! My only suggestion would be to maybe show *all* of the pieces you get at the beginning of each level, maybe across the top, to help plan a little better so it's not pure trial-and-error. As someone who isn't that great at coming up with puzzles, I was really impressed! Loved protecting little green poo guy from the lava!
Thanks @wheffle ! Showing all pieces was planned, but had to scratch it off because we ran out of time :(
the game was a very interesting puzzle with a cute funny theme, but there were some conflicts in design that made it frustrating enough for me to have quit at level 16.the time limit conflicts with the ability to retry a level since being able to retry makes it so that running out of time has no punishment but wasted time and it comes down to a test of speed instead of a test of thinking. the way tetris gets around this and makes both speed and puzzling work together is by each situation being random, once you lose you lost that forever and you will probably not run into that exact same situation again in your life. the way you could implement this is by having a procedural system that generates a level by placing blocks first and forming the level around this so that you could keep both the time limit and the puzzle elements encouraging thinking on your feet. as for the levels that teach you how to play thats where being able to retry comes into use though you could also make that procedural and limit what the level generator can do. this is a really interesting concept but sadly these two elements are set into conflict with eachother, i hope that you can resolve this and make this good game into a great game. over all this was really engaging and definitely fun
This is such a cool concept and a nice twist on a timeless classic. It's definitely harder with some levels compared to others, and would certainly be a bit easier to plan if you knew more than just the next piece in the chain. Really good concept though and I'd love to see it taken further!
"No more levels". Really fun game and great take on tetris. Enought variability to keep it interesting, and fast enough to not discourage the player. Great job!
Very Nice. I would have loved to be able to see the entire list of pieces when you start, there were some levels where I had to lose once to learn what pieces I was getting before I could beat it. Other than that though, really nice puzzle game.
Thank you very much for so many positive comments and constructive suggestions for improving the game. We really appreciate you playing and rating our game.
For those of you who have really enjoyed the game, we have good news: we just launched a [post-jam version](http://quietmuffin.com/onlinegame/post-ld/) of the game, where we have taken into account your most common criticism - you can now see all the future blocks! In this version, we took a completely different approach though. It's community driven - introducing "Edit Mode"! In "edit mode" you can design your own levels and let other players enjoy it. Those of you who do not have a creative soul will certainly appreciate the opportunity to play the creations by everyone else.
We originally planned to do this version in a few hours, but in the end it took almost a week on night-coding. It was exhausting, but we learned a lot of new things again. And it was worth it.
You can [play this version](http://quietmuffin.com/onlinegame/post-ld/) of game on our website [www.quietmuffin.com](www.quietmuffin.com). We can't host it on itch.io, because unity networking does not work properly there. And by the way, you can check out our currently developed game Train King when you are at our website :)

Really nice game loved the leave that wanted to cross the tetris bridge and you had to fix really nice game
@guntainment thanks man, i'm glad you like the game. be sure to try the [post-jam version](http://quietmuffin.com/onlinegame/post-ld/) as well
Excellent puzzle game! Simple mechanics with lots of interesting emergent complexity. Really great mix of puzzling and speed/dexterity, and the levels were very well-designed. Introduced new ideas at a good pace and the puzzles were really satisfying to solve.
With more levels and a bit more graphical polish this would make an awesome mobile game.
I managed to complete the final level without needing the last three blocks. Was that intentional?
One minor note: playing the web version fullscreen didn't work well for me (in 4:3) but playing without fullscreen worked fine.
Really interesting twist on Tetris. I really liked it :D
That's a fun idea with a cute presentation - and a nice twist on the tetris mechanics.
What annoys me a bit is that I can only see the next piece. Considering this is a fixed puzzle with (I assume, most of the time?) only one solution, I pretty much have to drop all pieces once, remember them and die (unless I'm super lucky). That seems pretty unnecessary to me. If you want players to memorize, at least show them all pieces once in the beginning. If memorization is not part, show all pieces that will be dropped instead of just the next.
