Good job, even though you didn't manage to finish the game, you almost always learn something new as a reward! Next time will be easier!

Nice idea! I wish you the best in getting further next time!
I'd better hear a completed version of this music track in four months.
Neat concept! It's always tough to judge just how much we can get done in the short timespan of the jam, but the most important part is learning something new every submission. I look forward to seeing what you come up with next time :)
Don't worry about your previous experience or the tools you used, feel proud because now you have a second game made entirely by you.
I liked the graphics because are simple but descriptive. It would be nice if you add more music because after a couple of minutes it becomes a bit repetitive.
Also, I don't know what to do after making me small.
Hope you complete this idea, keep working on it!
The concept is really interesting, I hope next time you will be able finish it. I'm sure you will make some crazy good games in the future :p Good luck!
I liked it and I'm sure next time you'll finish it. Carry on mate!!!
I wasn't quite sure what the objective was, but you may be on to something. I got stuck in the small town. The game needs for intractables.
I'm not sure I understood what to do fully but that may be due to it being unfinished, I felt I was just wandering around, However I do love the graphic style and would be very interested in playing this finished with more things to interact with :-)
I wasn't able to get this game running, either due to GameJolt, or Flash.
I think you had the base of the game just about ready. If you decide to participate next LD, which you should because it's fun, I'd recommend taking what you learned and building on it.
Time management is something that often gets over looked in these rapid development situations. Something I've taken to heart after doing several of these now is get the core gameplay done first. Use simple graphics that can act as place holders until the game can play. Then you have to balance what you can do with feature creep.
I do like the art in your game and the beat in the background isn't bad. No real bugs either, just lack of time to finish.
Made with Stencyl, awesome! I made [my game](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/little-mouse-planet) with [Scratch](scratch.mit.edu) (also a drag and drop block based programming language). Your game idea is very innovative and funny! I don't mind that the game is not complete. Your graphics are nice, but you could have drawn the player in a top down view to better fit the environment. The music track is a bit too repetitive for my liking. I first tried to run the game on game jolt, butthere the loading screen never stopped. Not sure if this is because of my ad blocker or a different problem. I tried afterwards with the version on Stencyl, this one worked well. I played the game through to the end :-)
@frodewin @occultone Yeah, I'm not sure about the Game Jolt version, it seemed to take a while to load for me as well but I assumed it was just due to ads. I'll check on it again and see if I can fix the link. Thanks everyone for trying out my game!
Even if the game is unfinished, I think it looks good and clearly shows the foundations of an interesting experience. I'm sure you'll finish your game next time, good luck!
I really like the idea, so it's very unfortunate that you couldn't finish this. Nonetheless I think it's pretty cool. **Graphics**: I actually like them. The perspective and the player's animations are really off at times, but the houses in the desert for example look really nice.
**Audio**: I'm sorry, but the song is really, really annoying. Would've preferred no music over this to be honest, but whatever. At least you tried having some song, which many didn't even do.
**Gameplay**: Well, there's not that much here, but I like the idea of shrinking and growing bigger. A few random thoughts: - It's really hard to tell what you can interact with - The size switch was really confusing and I didn't understand what was going on at first - Not really clear what you're supposed to do at all Anyways, it was a pretty good effort. Nice work.
Movement was a little laggy but I actually really enjoyed just walking around in the tiny old west town.
I wound up running through it a couple times if you wanna see it here https://youtu.be/G0xd_R87kK8
Wow, i finish the game in 2 minutes ^^ The music is good... For 10 seconds... Try to add some more next time. The graphism are great, i love your art! Good job!
I found your graph excellent. I enjoyed your game, and the ideas. It would be a 5/5 if the game was a bit more polished and if the music wasnt that annoying, but still great mate :)
Congrats on making the game!
Hard to critique as you stated it is incomplete.
Wouldn't run on my machine :( Windows 10
(This is for any future comments I guess since I don't think there's notifications for replies to comments anyway).
I'm really glad I received so many critiques as to what I should do, like graphics (which I would've worked on more but I lost a lot of time with family and stuff). I was trying my best to add a dialog box option but that turned out to be too complicated and although I could've used other code for Stencyl (the engine I was using), it seemed to just create bugs and not work in the way I wanted so I just left it out rather than wasting more hours on it.
As for the annoying music, yeah....that's what happens when you decide to make music in less than 3 minutes because you want to focus on everything else...sorry about that everyone! Thanks for all the support despite the game being unfinished!
- Audio is realy annoying - gameplay is good - one bug is that when player hit the wallit should stop playing walk animation but it still does
Congrats on your efforts :) The basic idea of your game is promising, too bad you couldn't finish! Instructions of some sort (in game) would have been appreciated and the ingame text color is not very well-chosen (not enough contrast to the background). As others mentioned, you might have considered just letting that music out
Neat story! I included it in my Ludum Dare 38 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u3lV-lDD06U
