@SmilingCat Thanks! Yeah it needs balancing, it's brutal to begin with, but after you get past wave 7 or so, it's too easy. Hoping to continue dev on it to see how far I can take it.

Fun game :) It would be nice to see some health bars above the characters but nice job in < 48 hours!
surprisingly fun, though it needs some balancing, for instance, the best strategy i found was to just load up on cutlasses. the other units didn't seem worth it. also, it'd be nice to see health and damage.

I got to wave 12 with an army of rifle and cutlass, but after that the lag became too much.

Does it have an ending? I left it running until wave 21 (by that time I had enough pirates to instantly destroy any zombie that came aboard) and it looked like it would just keep going. It's a great idea though & nicely implemented. Varying the enemy types might help keep it challenging for longer.
@vilya No ending unfortunately, I actually implemented 4 different enemy types: Zombie Pirate (as seen), Flying Parrot thingies, Poisonous creatures and a Leviathan. However I never got round to doing all the graphics.
After wave 8/9 you pretty much have unlimited money and one shot everything with ranged attacks. I plan to continue development to balance things out, add real levels on a world map and other purchasable upgrades.

Nice game! The soliders are cute, the way enemies pop out is also quite innovative. Though more controls can be given to the players like where to reinforce.
Fun game but I would love to have a control over what enemies my units are attacking.
Fun game. Health meters would be a solid addition to this. Not knowing what health units have left and not being able to control them kind of left me feeling detached from the action. That said, I think there's a lot of potential if you continue to work on it!

What makes or break this kind of game is what's going on on the screen, since the player is more or less waiting. You did a great job at that here with the cute pirates running around and the overall good art.
You might have something solid here if you decide to expand on it. Good job

Enjoyed this, I'm a fan of games with indirect controls so this was up my street. A more developed version of this would work really well on iPad, hope you stick with it!

Surprisingly challenging. It get´s easy after stockpiling a certain number of pirates. Maybe it needs a little balancing, but it's a really nice contribution. Thank you :)
Really great graphics style and funny animations. In my opinion the player has not enough control. It tried it often and had the feeling that it is more or less random if my weak pirates are attacked or not. I was not able to get very far.
Fun game, nice looking character art! It might need some balancing though, I'm at wave 27, table full of pirates, score 22320, with 77400 coins and the game updates once every 10 seconds.

Very hard game. Nice graphics and gameplay.
I liked it a lot, but there is a point where you can break the balance so you have so many guys on screen that you can't possibly lose and it gets really laggy. Maybe after you have 5 of any given unit they merge and form a super unit of that type, and then the enemy starts attacking with super units or something, that way the game could remain playable in later waves. I was on wave 17 and basically it was too laggy to play.
Don't get me wrong though, I really liked it. Looks nice, plays nice. Good job. :)

Simple, but well polished game!
It would be nice to have a bit more influence on the situation. For example if one could place the pirates on deck. Another idea I had: earn interest on the money you have at the end of a wave.
