| Oct 6 13:05:49 | Snake Tale | ♥ 1 | funny snake with original mechanics but not understood easily how mouse works. | |
| Oct 6 13:27:57 | 22m 08s | Sticky Turtles! | ♥ 1 | Simple but funny and original puzzle game. Easy to learn but need some thought to get a good score. My hight score is 22 :) Clean code without bugs. I didn't know this engine easy to understand. |
| Oct 6 13:41:16 | 13m 19s | Space derelict data collector | ♥ 1 | There are some good ideas, but it would need more mechanics and balancing to make the game really fun. The fuel doesn’t run out and there’s no damage, so it lacks a bit of challenge. Visibility is a bit low compared to the tank’s sliding, so you end up hitting walls and bombs quite often. Since there’s data displayed in the UI, I think more mechanics were planned. I guess you just ran out of time to make it really fun. |
| Oct 6 13:52:47 | 11m 31s | Butterfly | ♥ 1 | A simple game that fits the theme well. The character’s design is nice, but the world could have been a bit larger (and the butterflies much smaller) to really give the feeling of searching. The introduction of the snake mini-game is a good idea to add some gameplay variety. |
| Oct 6 14:09:59 | 17m 12s | Clear Skies | ♥ 0 | An original game with a serious-game aspect, so I love it! I had to search a bit for the keyboard binding since it’s not very intuitive, especially with a French keyboard. The graphics are fun, and so the audio too. I didn’t immediately understand the mechanics, but it was still fun. I also made a game featuring a telescope, in a different style. I’d be happy to hear your thoughts on it! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/58/star-fleet-telescop |
| Oct 6 14:43:21 | 33m 22s | RGB Collector | ♥ 1 | So many clicks just to collect only one single white pixel. I want a refund! :D I’m not a big fan of clicker games since the gameplay depth is usually quite low, but this one is well made and still manages to be engaging. It’s too bad we can’t choose our color at the start. Also, once you activate the auto-clicker, you can’t turn it off — that’s a bit disappointing too. |
| Oct 6 14:55:59 | 12m 38s | The Gem Hoarder | ♥ 1 | Simple but effective game. The theme isn’t fully respected, but it still works. A timer is missing to show how much time is left in the day. If you don’t finish the day, the command remains available the next day, which feels a bit odd. |
| Oct 6 18:26:11 | 3h 30m | Grand Collector | ♥ 1 | A nice little adventure in the style of Zelda. The adventure is fun and has humor. It’s simple but effective. From a coding perspective, it would have been better to separate the code into different classes and files to make it more manageable. I also think it could use some optimizations, especially in that horrible conditional logic function ;) And there is a little bug with the keypress event. Nevertheless, the game is very well done. Great job! |
| Oct 6 19:51:06 | 1h 24m | Fend Shui | ♥ 1 | Some achievements seem impossible, and the timer doesn’t appear to work, but I made my own challenge — sorting each guitar by manufacturer in every room. Nicely arranged. More Feng Shui!fen-shui.JPG |
| Oct 7 01:34:50 | 5h 43m | The Colosseum of the Dark Forest | ♥ 1 | The gameplay is stripped down to the bare minimum, and I don’t really see the link with the theme. Still, it’s rare to see a text-based game nowadays. The concept is original, and it makes you want to see it through to the end. |
| Oct 7 01:44:57 | 10m 07s | Greedy Collector | ♥ 1 | Simple but nice. Dash isn't really useful. Sounds and graphics are great. I can't go really far because of a bug when a took the pink light. |
| Oct 7 01:57:19 | 12m 22s | soulp | ♥ 0 | Simple but effective. The graphics are nice, and the gameplay is easy to understand. My score : 26 |
| Oct 7 02:06:31 | 9m 12s | Taxbear of Haybrunn | ♥ 1 | Original and funny with some kind of challenge. Good game |
| Oct 8 01:01:55 | 22h 55m | Collecting Cube | ♥ 1 | The controls are a bit rough, and it’s not easy to find your bearings in space, especially during wall jumps — but for a first attempt, it’s not bad at all. The sounds remind me of those old 8-bit console games from back in the day. |
| Oct 8 01:23:00 | 21m 05s | Reap What You Road | ♥ 0 | I’m not sure I understood everything (my English is limited), but the concept is original and funny. And it deserves credit for having a tutorial — good work! |
| Oct 8 01:31:27 | 8m 27s | Rabbit Hunt | ♥ 1 | It’s really bad that it’s not playable, because the graphics make you want to try it. Everyone has to start somewhere — congratulations on your submission! |
| Oct 8 01:42:36 | 11m 09s | Menagerie Collector | ♥ 0 | Original and pretty graphics. Controls are a bit hard espacially with a french keyboard and sometime the player doesn't move. |
| Oct 8 02:00:39 | 18m 03s | Mid-Sized Monsters | ♥ 2 | A Pokémon-like game is a good try for matching the theme, and the aesthetics, although quite simple, give a very polished look for a game made in 48 hours. Great job! |
| Oct 8 02:13:44 | 13m 05s | Tiles Collector | ♥ 1 | Nice try. It’s not often that we see a puzzle game like this in Ludum Dare. The aesthetics are simple, as is the gameplay, but the game is deeper and harder than it looks. Et en voyant ton profil sur github, je constate que nous sommes voisin. J'habite à Pau :) |
| Oct 8 17:21:23 | 15h 07m | Trade Up! | ♥ 1 | Once you figure out the rules, it plays smoothly. Card games aren’t very common in game jams, so that’s a plus. The game is well made and quite complete. |
| Oct 8 18:11:47 | 50m 24s | Stamp Collector | ♥ 1 | A stamp collection game couldn’t fit the theme any better. There’s a nice idea behind cutting out the stamps and removing the postmark. However, sorting them in the album isn’t very intuitive. It would have been nice to be able to reorganize the stamps if you don’t place them correctly. By the way, my dad used to tell me not to touch stamps with my fingers — you’re supposed to use stamp tongs. ;) |
| Oct 8 23:02:48 | 4h 51m | Unarchived | ♥ 2 | Very good hidden object game. The visuals are beautiful for something made in such a short time, and the music is lovely too. A nice relaxing little game. |
| Oct 8 23:14:44 | 11m 56s | Tiny Dice | ♥ 1 | Don't know the original game (mini game i mean) but works well. Good job |
| Oct 8 23:21:48 | 7m 04s | Collecthrow | ♥ 1 | The controls are a bit rough and the AI is overpowered, but it still looks fun. Could be an interesting concept with some balancing |
| Oct 8 23:40:43 | 18m 55s | Xenolith | ♥ 1 | The concept is very original and the game is well made, but I didn’t find the jump button right away and wasn’t sure where to go. I lost a bit of time — a pity for a 5-minute game you can only play once. Still, I only had two pieces left and managed to finish the level (with two other people). Nice job on the uncommon asynchronous gameplay! |
| Oct 9 23:27:04 | 23h 46m | Manually counted Reference GC | ♥ 1 | The game stopped giving me tasks after a while, but I still enjoyed it. The concept is simple but engaging. |
| Oct 9 23:50:22 | 23m 18s | Junk Protocol | ♥ 1 | Funny game, but I had to play a few rounds to understand the power cell concept. |
| Oct 10 14:02:28 | 14h 12m | La kolektanto | ♥ 1 | I didn’t realize at first that I had to collect with the paddle and tried clicking on the collectibles without understanding why it didn’t work, but I got it after a few seconds. An original take on Arkanoid that fits the theme perfectly. Well done! |
| Oct 10 18:25:13 | 4h 22m | Trivia Hart in "The Case of the Porcelain Tricorn" | ♥ 1 | The game is beautiful. The sound is perfect. The story is engaging. My English is a bit limited, so it took me some time, but I still managed to reach the end. Great game! |
| Oct 11 04:13:09 | 9h 47m | Collector of Souls | ♥ 1 | The concept is original and the monsters have style, but after a while the battles start skipping automatically. The UI is a bit dark, making it hard to see the health bars. Other than that, the game is quite enjoyable. |
| Oct 13 17:51:00 | 61h 37m | Can you give me a hand gesture? | ♥ 1 | The game is super simple but still original. It does the job. The rules are easy to understand. I wonder how this game is perceived across cultures, since some patterns might mean different things elsewhere. Too bad we can’t spread the fingers — I would’ve loved to see the Vulcan salute ;) |
| Oct 15 01:46:20 | 31h 55m | EBLU | ♥ 1 | Old screen fx is a bit strong, especially in full screen. Game doesn't reset after playing once so I couldn't find all endings. I don't know if it's a bug but the player can go outside of the screen. Otherwise, I like background mountains and butterflies are nice. |
| Oct 15 14:11:02 | 12h 24m | Fruits? | ♥ 1 | It reminds me of the old Nintendo Game & Watch devices, with an interesting physical twist. The controls are a bit tricky on keyboard, but it should work great with a controller. Nice work! |
| Oct 17 14:03:55 | 47h 52m | The Big COLLECTOR! | ♥ 2 | The game loop is interesting, but the game is a bit too confusing to really understand what’s going on. It lacks some UX feedback, and there are a few bugs — but it’s a nice attempt overall. And I like the cats ;) |
