Apr 18 20:13:57 Life of a skeleton ♥ 3 The idea is spectacular and original. The music is a real earworm and adds the right pressure while you're dealing with the keyboard letters and trying to read and respond to your partner. Perhaps there's a small bug that sometimes resets the timer even if you select an answer, but it doesn't affect the overall judgment of a game made alone and in such a short time. Very well done!
Apr 18 20:25:53 11m 56s Party Wizard ♥ 2 My record was 22. Really very funny, the wizard's eyes make me laugh to death. In my opinion, you should implement a nice online leaderboard for the score and speed up the beginning a bit, which in my taste is a little too slow, but still, I appreciated it a lot, really good job!
Apr 18 20:41:34 15m 41s Demons On Demand👹📦 ♥ 4 Great idea, really clean, polished, and captivating graphics. The problem is that I'm really bad at it! :D I can barely play up to the Day of the Tentacle (there's the reference to LucasArts!) levels; the subsequent levels are already too confusing for me! You managed to bring so much gameplay and beautiful graphics in such a short time, truly excellent work, congratulations!
Apr 18 21:07:56 26m 22s Summoners's Woe: Heroic Hijinks ♥ 1 A tower defense game built really well, everything seems to be in the right place. Very engaging, I've played many games but I haven't managed to find the right strategy to beat even one level. Probably it's just me not being very good at this genre, but I enjoyed trying. In my opinion, you did a great job.
Apr 18 21:18:04 10m 08s Delightfully Devilish ♥ 3 Despite the textual tutorial, it took me several games to understand the mechanics. Despite this, it seems well done both graphically and in terms of programming, and considering that it was developed in such a short time, it seems like an excellent result! Congratulations to the whole team.
Apr 18 21:36:24 18m 20s Sir Lancelittle ♥ 3 A good game, I would have preferred to be able to choose the cards to include in the deck and maybe even discard some of them, but I understand that programming so many things is not exactly easy. However, you can still try to improve it because there is a good starting point! Great job!
Apr 18 22:01:40 25m 16s The Summoning of IN-SI-LA ♥ 3 Wow, a really well-made game! I really like investigative games, and this one is very evocative and well-crafted technically, graphically, and musically! I just want to know if there are real clues that can help understand who to convict, or is it just a matter of intuition? Anyway, really beautiful, congratulations!
Apr 18 22:17:06 15m 26s Summoning the Demonning ♥ 2 Truly, truly cute. I love the graphic style so much, and the gameplay is simple yet very effective! Really a little gem considering it was made in such a short time! Nice work.
Apr 18 22:26:28 9m 22s Get Away Your Pitchforks from My Oak! ♥ 6 A truly original tower defense game. Graphically well done and with excellent mechanics that perfectly match the theme of the jam! Many compliments to everyone.
Apr 18 22:31:12 4m 44s Penguinology ♥ 1 Ahahahah that was unexpected!
Apr 18 23:03:02 31m 50s Necropets ♥ 2 Really fun, one of those I've played the most! I managed to reach level 5 of each cross. The graphics are really cute, and the gameplay is very interesting and tactical. An incredible job, congratulations!
Apr 22 14:27:28 87h 13m The Shadow Realm Saga ♥ 2 The game could be very interesting if further developed, perhaps by adding character upgrades as you level up. I find it to be an excellent starting point to create something nice. Graphically, it's very well done. Congratulations, guys!
Apr 22 14:45:31 18m 03s Liberatio Periculum ♥ 2 The game is interesting, the mechanic of casting spells reminds me a lot of how stratagems are called in Helldivers 2. One thing I found difficult is successfully using attacks where you needed to aim well at an enemy. Then, of course, the time for Ludum Dare is short, so it's difficult to implement things perfectly! However, you did a great job in such a short time, and I think it's a project you could continue with!
Apr 22 15:10:07 24m 36s Summoned To Die ♥ 1 It gave me some light Hotline Miami vibes, but I was disappointed by the boss! Is it really possible to beat it? Because I found it a bit frustrating... despite all that, I was having fun! The feel is really good indeed, the only downside is that I didn't find a connection with the theme of the game jam!
Apr 22 15:19:59 9m 52s mouche(s)? ♥ 0 Really very nice. I like both the graphics and the sound effects, very much in the style of 80s arcade games! The gameplay is fun and very well programmed. I enjoyed trying to finish all three levels, but unfortunately I gave up on the last one! A really great job, especially considering it was a competition and you had very little time! Making a game that has a beginning and an end and is so cute isn't easy. Congratulations.
Apr 22 15:35:59 16m 00s MEOWTERSPACE ♥ 3 I think I've finished the game! I reached 285 points and from a certain point onwards, no more enemies appeared! I really liked that everything in the game was related to the theme of cats, and I appreciated the graphic style resembling an animated drawing. Maybe it needs a bit of balancing because I found the cat with the homing rocket to be very powerful! A great game for this Ludum Dare, congratulations!
Apr 22 19:48:36 4h 12m Emperor's Gems ♥ 2 Really very cute, I made it with a minute and 3 seconds of time left after the third attempt... I had to figure out what was convenient to upgrade initially! Very nice graphics, well-crafted, and fun to play! Congratulations indeed. (Thank you for trying out my game live, the one where you have to summon the grandma!) :D
Apr 23 09:35:02 13h 46m Parmigiano Rolliano ♥ 3 I enjoyed playing it and appreciated the possibility of the multiple endings. The graphics are cute, matching the overall mood of the game. Honestly, it's a great job. The only flaw, in my opinion, is that the theme is a bit unrelated. Anyway, well done.
Apr 23 19:32:33 9h 57m Exorcist Pianist ♥ 1 I really appreciated how the game was 'packaged.' From the colors, graphics, and gameplay, it was an excellent game developed touching on a very important theme with a certainly weighty meaning. I managed to defeat my inner demons... but how many of us can do that in reality? Well done
Apr 23 19:55:06 22m 33s Ink Summoner ♥ 1 Your game is definitely very original. I'll be honest, to overcome some points, I had to read the clues, otherwise I would have been in difficulty, but I enjoyed playing it. I had the desire to reach the end. The mechanics are really nice and innovative, congratulations on the idea!
Apr 23 20:02:24 7m 18s Summoning a Memory ♥ 1 It's a shame you didn't have time to finish the project in a slightly more concrete way, because the idea was interesting. It reminds me a bit of that platformer where you could manipulate time to overcome levels, but now I can't remember its name. The style and gameplay are really cool, and I think you shouldn't give up on the project! Thanks anyway for sharing it even in this embryonic phase!
Apr 23 20:10:29 8m 05s Cultists Feast ♥ 1 LD_55_-_Cultists_Feast_screenshot_2024-04-23_22-08-07.png I think I set the record among the attendees! :D Simple but effective, it reminded me a lot of when I used to run over pedestrians in the first 2D GTA game! There are many games about summoning monsters, but this one has an original idea. Congratulations!
Apr 24 19:55:43 23h 45m No Tea Time for Slimes ♥ 1 Witty, fun, and with a well-balanced difficulty! I really enjoyed the level design with lots of hidden passages! I managed to finish it, but unfortunately my tea was broken! :D In the last level, I squashed the wizard so he learns not to summon me at the wrong times! Congratulations because it's very well done!
Apr 29 19:24:26 119h 28m Haunted Cartomancy ♥ 3 A beautiful narrative, with a very nice style and also beautiful in its execution. It tells a story and has a beginning and an end. I believe it's truly excellent work and you should be satisfied.
Apr 29 19:32:59 8m 33s Booking It ♥ 1 I tried your game and I'll tell you what I think. The introduction is very nice, there's a true artistic touch. The game is clean, works well, and is cute in its mechanics. I passed both levels and managed to escape from the library. I'm glad to see it was developed with GameMaker, which is one of the first game engines I used myself to program video games. As I always say, in a game jam, when you manage to create a game with a beginning and an end and it's playable, you've already done great work. In your case, everything is combined with excellent execution and an intro that I really appreciated a lot. Congratulations.
Apr 29 19:44:25 11m 26s High School of Conjuration ♥ 1 I had fun trying to get a good score! When I think that you did it alone in 48 hours, all I can say is wow! The gameplay works, there's a good level of challenge, and even an online leaderboard. Congratulations indeed!
Apr 30 01:17:57 5h 33m Slaymore ♥ 2 Considering it's a game made in just a few days, it's really nice. The gameplay is good, although I found some difficulty with character control and some issues with collisions. Clearly, these are all things that are hard to fix with limited time, but you can definitely improve them for a future version of the game. Nevertheless, I made it to the end and defeated the giant dragon! Overall, it's a great job with a solid structure and a clear beginning and end. Well done.
May 1 13:40:27 36h 22m Ballad of Lead Shroud ♥ 1 A short but very interesting experience. The mood is just right; it's not particularly scary, but you feel a sense of unease. I appreciated that you took the risk of telling a story and didn't just make another 'tower defense' game based on summoning monsters. Excellent job
May 1 16:48:17 3h 07m Repeater ♥ 0 An out-of-the-ordinary idea, well executed with good depth. I tried it because it was suggested by another user, and I really enjoyed it. Congratulations.
May 1 16:56:22 8m 05s Grishnek Legacy ♥ 1 Truly a well-executed rhythm game! You've utilized the theme in an original way and didn't just make another tower defense game with summonings! Very well done.
May 1 17:07:32 11m 10s Salmoning ♥ 5 Very original and fun! By adding some surprises or power-ups, it could become much more enduring! Good submission.
May 1 17:16:27 8m 55s Necrotyper ♥ 2 I've seen a lot of tower defense games in this jam, but this one is very original and one of the most fun ones I've tried. Well done!
May 2 13:10:53 19h 54m Cat and Box ♥ 1 Really very cute! I finished all sixteen levels, and I must say that some were quite brain-teasing! Definitely a little gem, perfect for a jam, and it flows smoothly, leaving you eager to continue and finish it. Really well done.
May 3 00:37:19 11h 26m Virtua Bob ♥ 0 Great game. Original, fun, well-made. The voice acting was really good, reminded me of the voiceovers in Max Payne! Funny and perfect for a jam! PS: I hate my office job too! :D
