| Oct 15 03:36:51 | Crime Critters (Rob the British Museum) | ♥ 1 | What a fun little game! The graphics are great, I find the idea really charming, I really like the heist angle! The fact that you can actually break and things, forcing me to maneuver more carefully through some sections really put me in that mood, plus it makes clever use of the limited space theme! The concept of controlling the 2 characters independently, it can lead to some really funny and chaotic moments trying to coordinate them and especially with the time limit at the end. I feel like with practice I'll be able to collect more treasures. Tho I do see this handling more precisely with an actual controller. I was a little confused at first on how I was supposed to load I the treasures but I quickly realized what to do lol. Overall I think this is a great concept and I really enjoyed it from what I played! | |
| Oct 15 04:08:03 | 31m 12s | COSMOSTRIDE | ♥ 1 | Pretty good! The graphics do a decent job at capturing the Star-Fox feel while managing to keep some charm the music sets the mood pretty well as well as the sounds The controls are smooth and intuitive. the difficulty curve is enjoyable, I thought it scaled pretty well, tho I will say that the shooting does get a bit repetitive after a while. the upgrades are cool little addition, but it would be nice if there was a little bit more variety rather than just simply stronger versions of the other ones. at first I couldn't really see how this fits within the limited space theme until I got later in the game, tho I would still like something a little more specific, as to me it feels rater loosely linked. |
| Oct 15 11:41:40 | 7h 33m | Crazy? | ♥ 1 | The idea is really funny! It's pretty creative too with the use of the theme, as well as having a pretty solid atmosphere. graphics are ok, but I will say I feel like blend well stylistically with the absurd concept. the game controls well but gameplay wise it becomes somewhat repetitive. I struggled a bit with fat rat, I managed to overcome it eventually after a few replays, but a bigger hitbox would be really welcome! pretty good overall! |
| Oct 15 12:29:48 | 48m 08s | This Robot Wizard Game Is Taking Too Much Disk Space! | ♥ 2 | What a creative little game! This is by far the most clever use of the theme I seen so far, it's a great concept that has a lot of potential for some really fun puzzles. I also thought the missing 8th level was a really funny and clever touch lol The ones you have put together are already really pretty clever and I had fun coming up with solutions for some of them. It very much feels like a flash game and I really like that! The music is very good nothing to comment here The graphics, altho they could be better they have a bit of charm The controls could be a bit more polished but they do their job for what they needed Overall I am actually really impressed with this, good job! |
| Oct 15 13:02:35 | 32m 47s | Fishy Business | ♥ 2 | The graphics and mood are charming, I really like the setting! I liked the use of the theme, and some of the items were pretty funny, as well as the whole idea of needing a fising permit The gameplay is relaxing, pretty slow paced but the core loop is pretty good, I'd really like to see this expanded with some further elements to spice up the loop more If I were to say one thing, I wish the upgrades and the shop were spread a little more evenly, there's stretches where I run into the the same thing a lot. It's a pretty fun game with potential! |
| Oct 15 13:58:57 | 56m 22s | Rabbit Reporter | ♥ 3 | this is very charming and cute!!! I love the artstyle choice. when I saw it I instantly wanted to check the game! It's very well done and it really helps it stand out! I like the use of the theme, it's pretty creative! there's a good variety in what you can put in the news paper as far as subjects and I like that The writing is really good, it got a few chuckles out of me, I enjoyed going around interviewing all characters and everything they had to say! I would love to see this expanded with more stories to report on and and different plotlines and such I see a lot of potential here! |
| Oct 15 15:13:59 | 1h 15m | Face the Dice | ♥ 1 | Really addictive The gameplay loop is fun and engaging. There's surprising amount of depth for such a simple concept, it's very nicely done. The theme really works in the game's favor as the limitations force you tot think a little bit more about your choices I have encountered a softlock where the dice got stuck The visuals are pretty good for what they are even if they are rather simplistic The music choice is very good, it helps me remain calm and focused. I feel like some sound effects would really elevate this and make it a very satisfying experience! Good job! |
| Oct 17 18:32:52 | 51h 18m | Packing time ! | ♥ 1 | I like the use of the theme here! the graphics are good, I like the variety in objects visually as well as some of the little charming touches. The objects also offer a pretty good variety in terms of shape for the puzzles. I found the music to be kinda repetitive after a while, it would be nice if it were longer or if there were a few more tracks to break the repetition I found the controls to be somewhat convoluted and it took me quite a bit to understand how everything works, maybe it would be better to find a more intuitive and better explained control scheme if you consider continuing the game! Maybe even condensing them in some more convenient commands, something like having rotation mode where they can be rotated on the x y z axis by only clicking and dragging with the mouse Overall pretty good! |
| Oct 17 19:37:58 | 1h 05m | Outta Space | ♥ 1 | I REALLY like the presentation of the game!! the graphics are amazing and it's really polished for the amount of time it was made in! all the attention to detail is so good! I love all the little options you can explore, very cool stuff! On top of that I really like the integration of the theme! the gameplay loop is simple but it's pretty addictive, especially with all the requirements! I can see myself playing this for a while! I felt like everything was intuitive and nothing was confusing or too overwhelming. I really like what I played! Good job!! |
| Oct 17 20:09:20 | 31m 22s | Avoider | ♥ 1 | I can see this being a pretty good game if it was more polished! It's an interesting use of the theme use the theme the visuals are neat, I kinda dig the minimalist look. The music is ok, works with the whole aesthetic. Gameplay could be addictive, but as it is I would have liked if the reaction time on the controls was a bit more consistent, for some reason I get slight input delay at random times. On top of that the randomness of the map shrinking causes the difficulty to be all over the place and there's points where I can get stuck. I see potential in this if it were to be continued! |
| Oct 17 20:59:38 | 50m 18s | Compress(space) | ♥ 1 | Very creative!! I really, really like how the theme is used, very clever! The aesthetic is minimal but very clean and well done! Oddy enough ! think the lack of music actually kinda adds to the overall mood and aesthetic it was very fun playing though this, the mechanic is intuitive and easy to use. I think this has potential to create some awesome puzzles, especially if it's more expanded on, with more obstacles and maybe even vertical use of the mechanic! very satisfied with what I played, I would love to potentially see this turned into a full game |
| Oct 17 21:36:43 | 37m 05s | Flob the Bloing | ♥ 1 | I really like the sprite work it's very nice! The way the theme is integrated is pretty creative! the way the main mechanic was implemented however left me a bit dissatisfied tho. When I started to get better at controlling the character I started to see the appeal, tho I do think the character falls way too quickly and I often found myself making way too short jumps when trying to exit the squares, causing me to fail. I eventually got somewhat used to the way the momentum works and I managed to do it to the end, tho it made the experience not as fun as it could have been and left me wishing I had a little more control over the character. Also, as some others pointed out but the music loop is a bit repetitive, a longer track would be really nice the game could be interesting with more polish! |
| Oct 17 22:18:21 | 41m 38s | HeadSpace Limited | ♥ 1 | Really fun! it doesn't quite fit the theme but is but I think the whole idea of preserving memories is awesome, and it intrigued me quite a bit! the bgs make for some neat surreal visuals and the music is good! I really enjoyed putting on the upgrades and slowly becoming op. There's a pretty good variety to what you can equip and I like that. It also controls nicely! Overall it's a recipe for a pretty addictive game! I enjoyed what I played! Good job! |
| Oct 17 22:37:26 | 19m 05s | SINISTER ELEVATOR | ♥ 1 | I don't really know if this was a deliberate choice, but I really like how the game ties in with the theme by putting you in a small claustrophobic space! The atmosphere is really solid as well as the graphics! the sound design and the music are also very good. You managed to pull off the horror pretty well! However, I found the game to be very easy, I didn't really feel like there was a any kind of raise in difficulty, it just kinda stayed at the same level though the whole thing. It would really help if there was more variety in the enemies, maybe they could offer different patterns and ways to tackle them. there can be potential for a fun little arcade game if this would be expanded upon! |
| Oct 18 01:51:58 | 3h 14m | Escape the Slime Lab | ♥ 1 | pretty cool concept! I like how it ties into the theme it's pretty clever! the graphics are also good, very nice spitework! some music would be a welcome addition! I tried the jam version then I tried the fixed version (which makes quite a few quality of life improvements. I will say it took me a bit o trial and error to understand how the gimmick works. I didn't have as much fun as I could have had cause I found the controls to be rather clunky and the placing of the shapes was very precise in the jam version. One criticism I do have for both versions is that the character lacks any momentum build and that is especially apparent when I jump because there's absolutely no control on the distance the character will jump. I found that rather frustrating at times because I caused me to fail the last puzzle quite a few times. I managed to finish the game but I think that would be something really nice to have fixes I see potential in this if it will be more polished and expanded upon with new gimmicks and other shapes possibly! |
| Oct 18 02:26:52 | 34m 54s | Smash & Pack | ♥ 1 | The main character is so badass fr ong. When I need to move out I'll know who to call.... I think it's really funny how everything you hold just explodes the moment hit it enough times. The voice lines are pretty great too. I had a lot of fun just destroying stuff after I filled the truck, its a simple and fun game music's a bit repetitive tho, that's my one complaint |
| Oct 18 05:04:37 | 2h 37m | Super Drillboy | ♥ 2 | I only have one word for this, satisfying I think that you found something really great from the very start with this drilling mechanic. breaking the blocks as you go is just so satisfying together especially when you get that boost and you just destroy everything in your way. the sound design helps a lot too! The use of the theme is simple but it blends so well with the gameplay and creates something awesome. I don't even mind that there isn't music I am completely fine with just the sound effects in this case I am glad that you were able to expand on a lot of the ideas form the original build. I feel like you grabbed the exact things that made it so satisfying for me in the first place and improved them tenfold providing something really addictive. also the visuals were p good in the original build but they are absolutely fantastic in the new one I love them!! this is one of the most fun games I have played so far, great job!! |
| Oct 18 05:48:40 | 44m 03s | Emilien In Paris | ♥ 1 | This is a charming little game it's simple but I really enjoy it for that reason, it's relaxing. I like how it ties in with the theme I know absolutely nothing about Paris but if this is an accurate depiction of living there then I think I learned quite a lot today lol. At first I tried to arrange everything a somewhat logical way but then I gave up and I kinda just put everything a good enough order in the last level lol. I think it's really funny to imagine actually living in a place arranged this way. Good job! |
| Oct 18 06:05:26 | 16m 46s | Justine Time | ♥ 1 | I think the idea is really neat and creative! I wanted to check this out because I saw the really cute art! Using the limited space in the context of slowing down and speeding up things The execution definitely needs more polish tho, especially the controls, they make this a little bit too hard to control, they are just a tiny bit too floaty. It also would be nice if you could jump of the ladders while you are on them. as it's stands now I'd say it a little rough around the edges I think there is something in there that can be great if you manage to expand and polish this |
| Oct 18 07:32:17 | 1h 26m | Escape The Phantom Seascape! | ♥ 2 | I have finished the full thing! the thing that struck me the most is the visuals and atmosphere, this game looks absolutely incredible! i love the stylistic choices, both the oil painting look for the normal environments and the rough crayon stuff for the dark segments. very good horror and surreal imagery. I imagine a ton of work went into it and I am amazed this was finished in 72 hours! the ending was a nice little reward, I tried to follow along with the little story told and I thought it was pretty neat! I think the puzzles were pretty cool and the one with the eye got me thinking a bit which I think is cool. I didn't have too much much trouble finding the objects needed, tho I think some sort of hint system would be nice. I also have a hard time seeing how it ties into the there, beyond maybe the idea that the water's rising and you have to move up the ship cuz there's less and less space, but I think it's pretty vague I really enjoyed the game overall, especially the visuals, they were an absolute treat! |
| Oct 18 08:28:31 | 56m 14s | Hasty Heist | ♥ 1 | the game is decently fun, the way the theme is implemented is nice. I am not gonna give a rating on the graphics since they are Unreal assets The game can be fun especially when you are trying to get the objects as fast as possible while trying to increase your storage so you can carry more. there's decent variety with the objects. I also thought that the game over cutscene is kinda funny. It would be nice if the motion blur would be tuned down. I have encountered quite a few objects that clipped though the floor though my runs. I even softlocked myself by climbing here. hasty heist.PNG Game's pretty fun tho! |
| Oct 19 10:31:14 | 26h 02m | wild maid | ♥ 1 | Very neat little game! The graphics are very good, the artwork on the cards and the character portraits are very well done done and visual aesthetic of the game is really great! the music is pretty good too, it helps with the overall relaxed mood! The character's really charming, I already like her! I like that you took the concept old maid and you gave it a really un spin with all the different types of cards, it's really fun, no matter f I win or lose. It also fits really nicely within the theme Very cool! good job |
| Oct 19 11:43:47 | 1h 12m | Sheep in Wolf's Clothing | ♥ 3 | Very cute and charming game!! The art is absolutely incredible, this is the prettiest game I have played so far! I love everything about the visuals, it's filled with so much charm!! Peak character design (especially the sheep boy), and the sprite work is very good too. I think the Gameboy palette is a super cool touch too! The writing was great too!! Really liked the little story as well as the dialogue was cute and it made me smile! The gameplay is a bit simplistic, it would help if the puzzles were a bit more complex, also the battles had a higher difficulty, but for the time it was made in it's good! You all did a great job on the game! |
| Oct 19 13:09:44 | 1h 25m | invenStory | ♥ 2 | I think this has potential if it would be more polished. Rn placing items in the inventory is pretty glitchy. When you place an item in the inventory off center it either slides out the inventory to the left and falls or it doesn't place itself in the slot at all. When trying to swap items it sometimes overlaps them or throws one for the items out the inventory. Overlapping in general just kinda occurs at random. I have also had a hard time trying to pay for shops, items don't stay in the slots most of the time and sometimes it does not give me the item even if I gave the correct amount. I think the shop would also be better if it wasn't time limited or at the very least allow you to stay for longer. It would also be quite helpful if each item had a description, maybe by hovering with the mouse on them. it's quite hard to understand what each can do. I saw some increase stats, but others I had no idea what they would be useful for. The visuals are minimalistic but good, the music is also pretty nice There's a pretty cool idea here but it needs more polish, still nice job tho! |
| Oct 19 13:59:58 | 50m 14s | Need for Space | ♥ 0 | I think the concept here is great, pretty creative use of the theme Unfortunately like others before me said, the game is just a bit too difficult for me and Ihave some problems with the physics. it would make turns much more easy if there was more room fir error. the graphics are fine, but a skybox and some bg elemets would be welcome. some music would help a bit too the idea is pretty fun, it could be a great little game with some polish and easier difficulty! |
| Oct 19 14:38:59 | 39m 01s | Rush Station | ♥ 1 | Very fun game I like how the theme's used here, pretty unique take! the visuals are good, I like the stylistic choices here, same with the sound effects! they help the gameplay feel satisfying! The game controls well! The gameplay loop is pretty addictive and I can see myself playing this for a while. i'd like to see this expanded upon with more types of passengers and possibly some other obstacles. it would also be nice if you could add some kinda visual indication for when the kick charge is at max level! The game over screen is pretty funny too Good job! |
| Oct 19 15:22:01 | 43m 02s | Disco Diner | ♥ 2 | Pretty fun!! I like how you introduced the whole theme within the game pretty creative! The visuals and the music are really great, I like both, even tho I would have liked 1 or 2 more tracks for the levels as it gets a bit tiring hearing the same music The gameplay is arcade-y and it has the potential to be addictive, altho I found it quite repetitive after a while. some variation in scenrarios and maybe even more types of customers would be nice! Good job! |
| Oct 19 17:23:27 | 2h 01m | Drive Ice | ♥ 1 | Very cute!! I really like the style, especially the penguin's design! very charming! The use of the theme is pretty simple but effective The gameplay loop is fun and the controls are easy to understand, I think the fact that the penguin slides off the ice slowly is cool, it adds enough depth to where it doesn't feel mindless. My biggest problem is the shark spawn. I have died 2 times simply because the shark was directly under me. other than that it's good! I can see this game being addictive if the gameplay would be expanded upon some more! good job! |
| Oct 19 19:05:06 | 1h 41m | Tiny Temple | ♥ 1 | This may just be the best game I have played so far The amount of polish here is absolutely insane for the time it was made. it genuinely feels like a full finished game, not a 72 hour thing. i have no idea how you pulled this off, some black magic Graphics are amazing, there's a lot of visual variety and the NES look is done excellently. The soundwork is great too, very satisfying sounds The controls are great. There's a great amount variety of variety n the guns items room layout. I barely felt the repetition beacuse there's so many variables to the rooms they all end up feeling fresh. I could not stop playing the game until I finished it. super addictive. I don' really know what else to say, it's just peak |
| Oct 19 21:29:46 | 2h 24m | Pool Frog | ♥ 2 | Very cute game!! I really like the frog character, the animations are really cute and charming! the sound effects are pretty good, altho it would be nice if there was music too The gameplay is nice, it took me a second to understand the controls it but after that the game, but once I did that the game was fun! The game is pretty easy but I actually like the relaxed pace in this one. I liked it, good job! |
| Oct 19 21:56:01 | 26m 15s | Laser Grid | ♥ 1 | Very cool idea the use of the theme here is pretty creative! I like the direction you took it The style is minimalistic but it looks great, very clean and well done. The gameplay became really cool once I understood all the mechanics. it took me a bit to get the hang of it but I made it decently far. it is a bit too much for me at some point but that doesn't really take way from it's arcade-y quality. Good job on this!! |
| Oct 19 23:35:44 | 1h 39m | Gacha Fever | ♥ 2 | The artstyle is so awesome and cute! Very well done!!! I think you nailed the vibe you were going for! I really like the character designs! The sound work and music is also very good and complements the gameplay and visuals well! I understand the theme use but I found it's not very effective in gameplay. I am no very familiar with this kinda genre but form what I played I think it's fun! I thought the variety of upgrades and and items was decent, especially in the post jam version. I enjoyed the few rounds I played I think you guys did great, especially on the visuals!! |
| Oct 20 00:01:11 | 25m 27s | Grandma Won't Stop Buying! | ♥ 1 | this a funny little game! Maybe grandma chill a little on making orders lol. the fact that you can stack a ton of boxes and throw them all at once and ruin the house is both hilarious and also really satisfying. Sometimes the boxes end up bouncing off the mailbox and get crushed by the car I like how it uses the theme even tho it's not very limited It's pretty good and I feel like it has to be even better with some polish and more content! P.S. we also made a game about packages but it's kinda different |
| Oct 20 01:19:05 | 1h 17m | Packing | ♥ 1 | This is really really good! very impressive especially for the amount of time t was in The most striking aspect for me was the fact that there's full voice acting. this is the first game in the jam that I have seen doing that. The sound work in general is just incredible The visuals and the atmosphere are top notch too, I really like all the little spooky happenings. the pixelated look is also done very well, super good stuff The writing is solid too. Pretty funny at times! I like how the theme is used, the puzzles are pretty compelling, tho they can be a bit complicated at times. Sadly I started losing patience after day 6 because I was taking too long with them, but that's on me. I am sure that there's a lot of cool stuff in the next days based on what I played so far. It would have been You guys did and absolutely terrific job on this!! |
| Oct 20 11:06:27 | 9h 47m | Shadow's Edge | ♥ 0 | The idea is pretty cool! The visuals are very nice, I like the thye choice of a cold palette as it helps selling the whole space alien look! it would be nice if there was some music too tho the integration of the theme is pretty creative, I like the whole trying to stay in the light thing. It would be helpful if the player had a light circle around them that would fade the more you go in the darkness, I think it could help with some of that visibility issue with some of the platforms the controls are a little confusing, I recommend trying to make them match the angle of the player, especially on vertical surfaces. I was always always subconciously trying to match the facing angle and it kinda confused me. this could be a really cool little puzzle game if you would expand more on the gimmick! Pretty good! |
| Oct 20 14:33:44 | 3h 27m | Give Me Money | ♥ 1 | It is indeed a simple game for simple people The artstyle is really nice and clean! It is very simplistic compared to other jam games I have played but that's not a bad thing at all, it actually really helps it in tis case, because the loop is really addictive and satisfying! The only thing I could say is that the money sound got a bit tiring after a while and it would have been nice to have some kinda option to turn it off! Great job! |
| Oct 20 14:52:06 | 18m 22s | Booze & Row | ♥ 2 | The style is executed really well! Good job on that! I don't really see how it fits within the theme beyond the fact that it's only 1 screen I think the idea is funny and with mote polish and content it could be a pretty fun arcade. Pretty good! |
| Oct 20 16:40:52 | 1h 48m | quarosel | ♥ 1 | This game is excellent! The visuals are great! very appealing minimalism, the color choices are very nice. I really like the sound effects they are very good and I am a sucker for more digital bit crushed sounding stuff The use of the there is very unique here!! you managed to take the theme in a very interesting and fun way! It's a super fun 2 player arcade game, it leads to a lot of chaos It's a shame that tis did not get more ratings because it's a perfect small game, one of the best I have played, you did an amazing job on this!! |
| Oct 20 17:25:48 | 44m 56s | Six Seats Left | ♥ 1 | Very interesting I really like the take on the theme here! The story is interesting. At first I tried to get the characters I found the most worthy, then I played a few times to see how every character ends up. Really liked the dialogue and the realism Very good little game! |
| Oct 20 18:38:34 | 1h 12m | Floppy Intelligence | ♥ 1 | Very cool use of the theme! Pretty unique! I really liked the whole idea of managing the diskettes, I didn't finish the whole thing but from what I played it was pretty fun! It took me a bit to understand the controls, and for some reason I could not click e from the menu I had to actually press the key on my keyboard, but that's like a very small problem Good job!! |
| Oct 20 19:03:02 | 24m 28s | Realistic Falling Blocks | ♥ 1 | Very fun! interesting take on the game of tetris, I really like it! I also like all the visual effects you added, it makes the game look really fancy and cool. he music also helps a lot, it's long enough to where I really don't mind it at all. it's also just nice and fits the gameplay. The gameplay is fun. I tried my best to line them up well and get as much points at possible, but things always devolved into chaos rather quick lol. I enjoyed it tho, that was part of the appeal for me! great job on this!! |
