May 1 22:03:10 wizard path ♥ 3 Edit: It works for me on itch.io. Very nice game. I enjoyed it a lot! 😃 I'm getting this error after the loading bar :( error.JPG
May 2 08:13:20 10h 10m The Smuggler's Map ♥ 3 Got the one million 😆 Very cool game. Was a lot of fun! A few minor nitpicks: - In the second half of the game (After I had around 400.000 score) no more pirates or navy would appear. Nessie was just chilling in the middle of the map. I just had to plot my course around her. - Reading the legend on the right was a bit annoying. Maybe remove it completely and add the "source"-island to the requests. Something like: island A -> treasure map -> island B - The island shapes could be a bit more distinct, to recognize them with one glance. (Halfmoon- and Bridge-island were good examples 👍 ) All in all a very good game. Nice graphics. Fitting music! Good job! :) the-smugglers-map.JPG
May 2 08:18:38 5m 18s A Bag ♥ 3 Very fun! 😆 I agree with the 10/10
May 2 08:43:30 24m 52s Pancake Day ♥ 2 The driving was fun! Especially bouncing from the buildings 😆 ! For me, the switching mechanic was confusing and not very intuitive. Sorry, I think it would play smoother with just one car. 😅 Good job on the game! Edit: Also 2 bugs that I noticed: - Somtimes I don't collide with buildings and drive right through them. - One time, when the 3rd car exploded I lost control of the car I was driving, because the other car became active.
May 2 09:01:18 17m 48s Manucci's Pizza Hunt ♥ 6 Nice game and awesome pixel art! It was a bit hard at first. I was also a bit confused when the zombies stopped spawning and I was locked inside the arena and nothing happened.
May 2 09:45:06 43m 48s Package Deal ♥ 3 Wow this was great! Love those kind of puzzle games. Awesome Pixel art and music. Some small nitpicks: - I wish I could rotate the player without having to rotate the whole tile. It happened quite often, that a sword or enemy was just behind me (paths were connected), but I was looking in the wrong direction. - In my opinion just keep the zoomed out version and keep the buttons advance, shift, rotate on the same screen. No need to switch back and forth all the time. :)
May 2 09:57:01 11m 55s The Herd's Journey ♥ 3 Nice one! Incredible that you did this in 3 days 😲 Good job!
May 2 10:28:42 31m 41s Dungeon Delivery ♥ 2 Very interesting. I like the idea of the game. Also the pixel art looks great! :) I got a bit stuck at the moment. No idea how to get the gold / what to do with the ghost. Maybe someone can give me an hint.
May 2 10:57:50 29m 08s Deliverz ♥ 2 Good game! That escalated quickly 😆
May 2 11:21:29 23m 39s Too Hot to Hendl ♥ 2 Cool game and nice graphics! :) Plays really well with controller. I'm stuck at level 9. It's too hard for me, throwing the package over the high wall. 😆
May 2 11:52:48 31m 19s Bag Stranding ♥ 1 This was amazing! Had a blast! Nothing really to criticize. 👍 Am I doing this correctly? 🤣 bag-stranding.JPG
May 2 12:10:28 17m 40s Faking It ♥ 2 Very unique idea and really amazing graphics. Also Hugh Mann hahaha 😆 One small nitpick. I was really overwhelmed by the many buttons I had to click for the arms. That probably should be a bit simpler. Maybe 2 buttons max and only adjusting one arm. In the end I just ignored my arms and just blinked, scrolled and clicked the tentacles. Barely made it! Good job on the game. Was fun nonetheless.
May 2 12:35:53 25m 25s Firelore: First Fate ♥ 1 Very interesting. The story was thrilling and I kept reading to the end. I think it helped a lot that you kept the sentences very short all the time. I think it would have helped to keep the focus of the story on one of the two (painter or soldier) but make it deeper. You kind of have two stories in one. You have a very good writing style! Good job on the game.
May 2 13:32:11 56m 18s Package Delivery ♥ 1 Good game! Congratz for completing your first game jam! I liked the pixel art and the nice ambient sound. I also liked the idea a lot. :) It played quite well all in all. Good job with the game! I made a few notes about things you can improve. Gameplay: Searching for people was a bit too tedious. I didn't find the person for the red package and gave up in the end. 😅 Maybe put mailboxes with the respective colors on the road side. So I can grab to correct package and go looking for the person nearby. Art: Try to keep your pixel sizes consistent (all pixels have the same size) and also try to adhere to the pixel grid. This is not always easy especially for moving sprites. But sprites that are not moving (background, npcs, trees) should respect the pixel grid. This will make your game look much better :) Bugs: - Menus get stuck, when I press E first, then Q while the first menu is still open. - the truck sound plays when pressing Q, even when I'm not close to the truck - Colliders are a bit weird sometimes.
May 2 16:28:24 2h 56m You're doing crate ♥ 4 Cool looking game. Love the seagull theme. Very cute! Playing alone was not so much fun, so it feels a bit unfair to me, rating it on that experience. Because I think it would be lots of fun in a small group. One guy throwing all the stuff over, the next one packaging etc. 😆 I also had the same bug, that angiemon had (with the green arrows everywhere). Maybe I still was playing the version before the bug fixes. Good job with the game and good luck!
May 2 16:50:27 22m 03s Fuscus and The Garlic Kin ♥ 4 Cool platformer! Awesome graphics! Was fun! :) Few small nitpicks: - please don't make me jump down where I don't see where I will land (or land at all and not fall forever 😆 ) Also don't put spikes there, when I can't even see them. :) - After getting the recipe I was able to walk left and jump over the wall and landed outside the level. - The spikes were not visible very well. Maybe another color would help. Good job with the game!
May 2 17:18:18 27m 51s The Delivery of the Message ♥ 1 The atmosphere and vibes of the game are really great. I also like the minimalist pixel style a lot! There probably should be more options, other then walk, to spice up the gameplay a bit. Mountains or something would be nice, to lure the enemies around them. That would allow changing the direction. At the moment I can't reach the red city, if it is behind the enemies (at least not on hard mode). Maybe place some pickups randomly in the desert: - water-bottle -> more movement speed for x turns - bow and arrow -> can snipe one enemy in range - trap -> enemies that walk on it get slowed for x turns Just a few random ideas 😆 Good job with the game!
May 2 17:59:56 41m 38s Valhalla Calling ♥ 1 Cool idea for the theme! Also love the graphics. Looks awesome! Also nice music :) I think the spear throwers are a bit too strong, when there are 3 or 4 of them. There is no warning, when they will throw. If they are too close I can't react fast enough with the block. Also, please don't use z,x,c.. keys. I know they're popular, but it's a bit of a pain if you don't have an english keyboard. 😆 For example on the german keyboard y and z are swapped.
May 2 18:15:20 15m 24s Unread Messages ♥ 1 Cool puzzle game! I wished there were more levels :) Very innovative ideas. Nothing to complain about really 😄
May 3 06:58:07 12h 42m BANKWAVE: Neon Networth ♥ 4 Looks really great! Love the art style. I somehow got stuck at the start of day 2. My boss stands before me, but doesn't talk to me. But also doesn't leave 😆 Awkward. I tried to ring the next customer bell, but that didn't make him leave either. 😆
May 3 07:19:05 20m 58s Frogwarts Delivery Service ♥ 1 That was great! A mixture of two things I like: wizards and bullet hells 😆 Loved the little detail, that you could fly trough the hoops and they're not just a background element. I think the hitbox of the owl was maybe a bit big. Also it was unclear how large the collider was. That made the navigation a bit hard, especially when there were lots of bullets and almost no space to go. But that's just a small nitpick. Otherwise great game! Bullet patterns were great! Different patterns, sizes, speeds. That was awesome!
May 3 08:21:27 1h 02m Salty Coins ♥ 1 This was amazing. I had a lot of fun playing. Graphics were awesome, too! Some minor nitpicks 😆 It was very hard in the late game though. Suddenly there was no food anywhere to be found. So I couldn't restock my supplies. There should probably always be food somewhere to buy. Also supply and demand did not match anymore in the end. In my opinion if I can buy something, I should also be able to sell it somewhere. With some items I'm not sure if they're worth it or how they work: For example the carpenter sounds nice, but I'm not sure how he works (if I need to buy the planks and where to get them) Also cannonballs. Sure, they make my cannon stronger, but take away cargo space that I need for trading. I once had a black screen after losing and nothing happened. Will try again later to beat this!
May 3 09:27:33 1h 06m A Message for the Stone King ♥ 1 I liked it a lot! The king was very believable. Good graphics! I don't think the digging puzzle added much to the game though. No idea what the different colors meant. Could probably be removed and just been a button that brings you back to the king. Good job with the game! I Enjoyed it!
May 3 09:37:14 9m 41s The Night Witches ♥ 4 Awesome game! I need more levels! 😆 Very cool idea. It works great! If I could change one thing: Let me observe the patterns of the enemy, before I start the level. Btw, I loved the pixel art! Very well done!
May 3 09:52:49 15m 35s Pigeon Post ♥ 1 The pixel art is top-notch 👍 I didn't really like the gameplay loop though, sorry, maybe that's just my taste. It was too much to do under time pressure. Also the controls weren't smooth enough to allow a fast handling of the letters. Also you used multiple different fonts, that didn't match the pixel art. This kinda dragged down the overall look a bit. Good job on the game! Keep it up!
May 3 10:24:16 31m 27s Ariadne's Thread Delivery ♥ 2 Graphics are awesome! They really are an eyecatcher! :) Please don't add a timer, like others suggested. It's hard enough as it is. I really don't like being stressed by a timer, but maybe that's just me. 😆 (Although it might be a cool gimmick, when delivering certain items, lika a magical icecube, that slowly melts, or something like that) I think the steering was a bit too hard and unintuitive. In the magic-wand level there was a strange collider in the middle of the road at the top that didn't let me through. In general the colliders were a bit too punishing, especially the roof tops. I think you shouldn't collide with roofs. :) ariadnes.JPG
May 3 10:57:58 33m 42s Delivery G.U.I. ♥ 1 Cool game. Like the graphics! I encountered one bug. One of the packages fell through the floor and then the falling-sound got stuck in a loop and was playing all the time. 😆
May 3 11:20:55 22m 57s HOTARU - Guider of Souls ♥ 3 Graphics are awesome and an eyecatcher! Gameplay has some problems though and is too punishing in the beginning. Two examples: 1) It's not obvious that I have a double jump. I only learned that after falling down twice at the first gap. Maybe let the player learn the controls in a safe environment (don't let the rock fall down. Instead just put a high cliff there, where you only get up with the double jump). 2) Same thing at the wall-jump section. Why place a gap in the floor where players can fall down? Let them learn the controls first. Wall-jumping didn't work very well, so of course I fell down there! 😆 Some other inconveniences: - Tutorial text is not very well readable (yellow color above bright floor, orange color above orange colored tree) - I got always stuck on the stairs. - Maybe make the soul follow you automatically, without having to interact everytime. - Remove the mouse clicking. It's not a very interesting game mechanic Sorry, I hope this didn't sound too harsh. I'm really impressed you made a so good looking game. Just polish the gameplay a bit and it will be awesome! :)
May 5 13:23:32 50h 02m earthmover ♥ 1 Most of the time I was just guessing and brute forcing my way through it. 😆
May 5 13:40:42 17m 10s WASTELAND Express ♥ 2 Driving felt great. Graphics are awesome! A few nitpicks I had: I didn't like, that I had to click to shoot. Just let me hold down the button. The delivery didn't work sometimes. Maybe the white circle is a little too small? I also didn't like that my gun, that I worked so hard for, was taken away again. Just because I exploded! Didn't even have much time to test it out properly! 😆 Great job with the game!
May 5 13:54:26 13m 44s Lost & Found ♥ 1 Very cute game. Graphics and music are awesome! The candle timer threw me off at first and took away a little from the chill atmosphere. 😆 Very good job on the game!
May 5 14:18:32 24m 06s Orbit Express ♥ 1 Looks very beautiful! Also the controls felt very nice! The only thing I didn't like was being restricted by fuel. I don't like having a timer counting down on me. It's not fun and introduces unnecessary stress to an otherwise very chill game. (But maybe that's just me 😆 ) If you really want to keep this mechanic, then I would suggest adding refuel stations to every planet, where I can refuel after every delivery. 😆
May 5 14:25:44 7m 12s Beelivery ♥ 4 This was very beesome! Could have played this for hours. No complaints 😆 🐝
May 5 14:57:33 31m 49s Hexpress ♥ 3 Very enjoyable game! Graphics and music are wonderful! I played a couple times to test out all the weapons 😆 But never made it to a score higher than 5, it's getting pretty insane then 😆 A few suggestions: Maybe pause the spawns, when you are at the tower, where you have to deliver the wand. This would allow a short break, to catch the breath a bit and relax. I would remove the friendly fire from the saw-thingies. It makes me not want to pick it. It's not strong enough for the downside. :) Is there a way to heal? Very good game. Keep it up!!
May 5 15:26:21 28m 48s Dungeonfalls ♥ 1 Cool idea!! But it's a bit easy to stash all the tiles that I don't want in the top corners. Maybe don't allow tiles to be placed in the air? But not sure, if it's too hard then 😆 Good job with the game!
May 5 15:49:22 23m 01s Maily Melo ♥ 4 Beautiful game! Two small nitpicks: 1) I tried to drag the letters on the portraits and was confused, that it didn't work. It's a bit complicated (and I didn't get it immediatly) to first click on the portrait and then drag the letter into the letter-box. 2) Sending the answers back didn't make much sense to me, because the letter was also brought to me by the pidgeon. I think it should be the other way round. For example the King should throw over the letter and I will put it into the letter basket. Then the pidgeon brings it away. 😆 Good job with the game!
May 18 12:51:49 309h 02m Yangtze ♥ 1 The camera angle made it a bit hard to navigate the houses in the back. It took me a few tries to understand how to play and what to do. But once I got it, it was quite fun, especially the harder levels. Good job with the game.
