Oct 3 10:05:15 Pincolour ♥ 1 I really liked this game! It was very fun to play and felt polished and complete. The graphics were clean but very stylish and the sound design was great. It took a while for me to memorize what the different modifiers did but once I did I had a lot of fun with the mechanics. Overall a very fun and well made game.
Oct 3 10:32:12 26m 57s Acid Rain ♥ 1 Wow, I loved pretty much everything about this game; the quirky character, the gorgeous animation, the sound design and the smart puzzle platforming. The double jump mechanic was really clever and the game overall was very entertaining.
Oct 3 11:17:25 45m 13s It's a Sliding Puzzle ♥ 3 I love that you made a game boy rom. It ran great on visual boy advance. I liked the mechanics but I must admit I have a hard type solving these kinds of puzzles. Out of curiosity, what tools did you use to develop this?
Oct 4 20:47:41 33h 30m πŸŒ‹ FlareScape ♥ 1 I really appreciated your spin on the theme. The vehicle was fun to drive and the game was very enjoyable to play, although it was quite difficult at times. The visuals were superb, I like how blow out the whole screen gets when the solar flare is active.
Oct 5 07:05:44 10h 18m Swapply ♥ 1 What a great little game! I really enjoyed playing it. It was very cute, very fun, and very challenging! πŸ˜† The camera sometimes felt a bit unfair, since you couldn't see where you were going, I guess that was in order to keep what was coming ahead in the level more of a mystery? It worked, I was really surprised when the slimes showed up!
Oct 5 07:16:36 10m 52s Rockatoo ♥ 0 Very cool, very polished! The music was great and the graphics spot on. The mechanic is brilliant, but it took me until the third song to figure out how it worked. I was to focused on actually hitting the poses that apeared. Also, it felt like the top of the screen was clipped? At least when playing the embedded version. Anyway, great game. A very impressive compo entry!
Oct 5 09:38:36 2h 22m Six Shots Per Minuteman ♥ 1 Very polished and nice. The presentation was solid and the gameplay was dificult but fun. I liked your take on the theme and how you managed to keep the game mechanics simple but still allow for a lot of skill and strategy. I found taking it slow and sticking to cover to work best for me, but it was still very challenging πŸ˜†
Oct 5 09:55:02 16m 26s Time To Live: 10 ♥ 1 You made a really cool game. The concept was mind bending (in a good way) and the puzzles were really smart. I can imagine this game being very complex to implement πŸ˜… I wish there was a button to quickly restart though. I messed up a lot and it would have been nice to be able to retry right away instead of having to wait for the timer.
Oct 5 10:58:06 1h 03m Life is Fleeting ♥ 1 This was wild! I love how the game is very chill and extremely hectic at the same time πŸ˜† I liked the colorful graphics and all the little details, like how the plants animate when you walk across them, or the screenshake when you forget to bring the watering can πŸ˜… Also, I think the music fit very well. It was groovy but energetic. I didn't mind the lack of collisions. For some reason, I found myself avoiding the buildings and fences even though I guess you could technically walk through them.
Oct 5 11:12:54 14m 48s Satellite commander ♥ 1 The game was fun and a really interesting concept. The graphics were clean and easy to understand. I liked the trails left by the satelites, they made some pretty cool patterns. Also, I know you opted out of audio, but I just have to say I found the radio gibberish hilarious πŸ˜†
Oct 5 11:20:55 8m 01s 10-Second Magic Artist ♥ 1 This was amazing. What a fun concept! Very well implemented and polished. AIGalleryPainting-2022-10-05_13-17-17.png
Oct 5 12:23:58 1h 03m Another LAST 10 seconds ♥ 1 Nice and funny little game! I would also like to know how you did the bird sounds! πŸ˜†
Oct 5 12:52:03 28m 05s What's Under The Teapot? ♥ 4 I liked the detail in the room, like the paintings and chalk board on the walls!
Oct 5 13:12:06 20m 03s Groceries, Please! ♥ 3 Very well made, lots of funny little detail. I love how chill the music is while the groceries are piling up and I'm freaking out completely 😰 I played the web version on firefox and it seemed to run fine.
Oct 5 13:46:12 34m 06s PipeNightmare ♥ 3 Fun, well made, good looking but _very_ difficult, hehe πŸ˜† I love these kinds of pipe games, and I really enjoyed this one, even though I had trouble getting anywhere. I think the graphics and music are great and complement each other really well. As other have said, with a more gradual difficulty curve this would be fantastic.
Oct 5 13:56:08 9m 56s Machine! ♥ 0 This is really cool. It took me a while to figure out, especially since it's so fast paced right from the start. But once I got into it I hade a lot of fun. I liked figuring out how the different machines worked and how stressful it got at times. Great job of taking a simple idea and giving it depth. By the way, I couldn't get the embedded version to work either, but the web build on your website worked fine.
Oct 5 18:26:41 4h 30m Sprint10 ♥ 1 I _love_ the aesthetics of this game. It's super juicy, but in a charming and quirky way that I really enjoyed. The graphics, sound and especially the animation really gave it it a unique character. The gameplay was tight and fun. The 10 second levels were a great idea, and keeping it as one consecutive world worked really well. Removing the lives was a good idea, by the way. I found the platforming quite challenging (but enjoyable)! And I think having to restart would have been frustrating. Oh, It might be worth mentioning that I couldn't get the game to run on firefox. It was just stuck on the unity loading screen forever. It worked well on chrome though πŸ‘
Oct 5 18:58:09 31m 28s Sweet Seconds ♥ 2 Very cute! A great take on the theme, and satisfying to play. I loved the animations on all the items and unlocking new recipes was really fun. Great job on the difficulty by the way. Making a game that ramps up well is a balancing act, and I think you did really well.
Oct 5 19:17:35 19m 26s 10 seconds Delirium ♥ 0 Haha, this was... weird..?! πŸ˜† But well made and really fun! Great job on making a unique and memorable experience. I loved the art, especially the animation of the floating heads. The way they looked 3d and 2d at the same time was very cool to me. Also, I kind of want that synth now!
Oct 6 15:21:51 20h 04m Machine Yearning ♥ 2 Very fun, very funny! A great and original idea, well executed. I like how confusing it felt at first, but after a while, you can pick out β€œcroogh wraagi” in a second and feel like a true machine πŸ˜†
Oct 7 05:39:42 14h 17m Alpaka madness - Every 10 seconds... ♥ 2 A very enjoyable game! The graphics were adorable, especially the animation of the alpaka sticking its tounge out. I got 123 points fairly early on but was unable to even get close to that again, so it must have been pure luck! The controls were good and the AI was well tuned to make things as chaotic as possible. Those alpakas sure were mad πŸ˜†
Oct 7 05:58:58 19m 16s Crazy Ball ♥ 1 Really well made! Juicy and fun.I really liked the addition of obstacles. Having to avoid things while trying to catch the ball was very fun. I also liked the fact that if you lost your ball while you had an upgrade on its way down, you got to keep playing. That saved me a lot of times.
Oct 7 06:34:33 35m 35s 10s To Decide ♥ 1 I liked the choice of upgrades. There were a lot of different ones and it was often an interesting choice between choosing something immediately useful or upgrading for the future. Knowing the next three actions of the mobs was really cool as well. I also liked the fact that you added a button for speeding up the turns.
Oct 7 09:04:44 2h 30m The First Fire ♥ 1 Nice and minimal game. It’s very cute and I liked the little story
Oct 7 09:28:43 23m 59s Lucky Lefty Lost In A Labyrinth ♥ 0 I really liked this puzzle! It reminded me of picross, and I'm on board with that! The levels were well designed with a nice difficulty ramp. I liked the 10 second mechanic adding a sense of urgency to the game, but I also think it was a great idea to have the option to disable it. I liked the audio, the music was groovy and the sound effects were very charming
Oct 7 12:17:28 2h 48m Space Lord X ♥ 1 Good looking and juicy. I liked the steering of the spaceship and the idea of short and fast boss levels.
Oct 7 12:24:46 7m 18s Homerun for your life! ♥ 2 This is wonderful! Great job on taking a simple mechanic and making so much out of it. I love the graphics and all the details. The headlines were hilarious!
Oct 7 12:54:40 29m 54s Michael Finnegan Begins Again ♥ 1 A very well made and fun game. The level design was great. Even though the level is basically a maze I was never frustrated. The music was very fitting, and I love the little melody that plays when you're being teleported. I also liked the writing which was short but funny.
Oct 7 13:15:03 20m 23s B.R.B ♥ 1 Great concept! This was a lot of fun, trying to figure out different strategies for avoiding your ghosts, or using them to your advantage. I found the level very well designed, as there were never any safe spots for hiding. The presentation was super nice as well, the graphics and sound fit perfectly.
Oct 7 13:33:39 18m 36s Black Zen White ♥ 1 Great game! It felt very polished and well made. Your take on the theme was very smart and the puzzles were fun to solve. The level design was great, with a nice ramp in difficulty and even a bonus level. I enjoyed this and would happily have played more!
Oct 7 14:06:23 32m 44s MAGIC-281: Intro to Alchemy ♥ 1 I love this, what a great idea. I had fun learning about alchemy (and I was surprised with how well I did on the test). Naturally, I cheated. Just like I would have done if this was a real test πŸ˜† Great job on a very different and surprising game! It was fun playing a magic student cheating my way through alchemy
Oct 7 18:55:25 4h 49m BORDERLINE ♥ 0 Really cool! The graphics are amazing and I really wanted to see where the story went, but it crashed at this screen for me Screenshot 2022-10-07 205147.png I might give it another try later, but for now let me just say great work on making such an advanced game for the snes! My only complaint was that the time switching often interrupted dialogues, so I or either had to try and read very quickly or quickly skip the messages I had already read the next time it switched back. Oh, and was there any audio? I didn't get any sound when playing it in snes9x *edit: looks like image uploading is broken?* anyway, the crash happened at the same time I got the message "The door will open in 9 seconds"
Oct 8 08:31:32 13h 36m Demons, bullets and new rules ♥ 3 This is awesome! The sound, the graphics and the gameplay all fit together really well. I love the color scheme, with the blue background contrasting with the tiles. πŸ‘Œ The modifiers were really fun and added a lot of variation to the gameplay. I liked that some were helpful, some were dangerous and some were just weird (like zoom/zoom) πŸ˜†
Oct 8 08:59:28 27m 56s Resource: Remixed ♥ 1 Feels like a complete game! The graphics were nice. Bright, colorful and chunky. I liked the shader on the resources when you gathered them, very cool. I think the size of the level was just right. There was plenty to explore, but I didn't get too lost (even though the teleporters were a bit disorienting) Even though I finished the game, there were a few things I didn't fully understand. What was the purpose of energy? I tried to keep it topped up but I didn't notice any particular downside to having it at 0. Did it make the robot slower? Also, what was the purpose of the bubbles with arrows going up or down? Were they also tied to movement speed? At first I thought they would charge/discharge my energy, but that did not seem the case. Despite those minor things, I really liked the game. It was fun and relaxing and I liked building stuff :) I think your idea of making it procedural sounds very good by the way!
Oct 8 09:08:41 9m 13s Lighthouse ♥ 1 Great idea! Super moody and nice. The game was the perfect length as well. I was so happy to see that little bright light as I got close to the end. My only nitpick is that the controls were a bit fiddly. I think since the light mechanic was the main focus, perhaps steering the boat should have been a bit easier? That might just be personal preference though, and I did find the game very enjoyable regardless.
Oct 8 11:49:16 2h 40m 10 Second Mixtape ♥ 3 Amazing! I had a lot of fun playing around with this, such a cool concept. My only complaint is that it was very hard to make something actually sound nice πŸ˜†. It would have been great with an option to quantize the notes so the timing was a bit easier. Other than that however, it's all spot on!
Oct 8 17:59:14 6h 09m Carton Carrier ♥ 1 I’m amazed at the quality of this. It really feels like a complete game. The graphics are beautiful and the music fits very well.
Oct 10 18:00:44 48h 01m minigames! ♥ 1 This is adorable and I love it. I'm very impressed with the games you made and I was genuinely surprised by the twists in some of them. The art style was great and the whole experience was wonderful. I think it was just the right length too, there was plenty to play. Really good stuff!
Oct 12 13:24:37 43h 23m 10 Second Painter ♥ 1 Great idea, really fun. I couldn't stop playing "just one more round" to see what the next prompt would be.
Oct 14 18:28:03 53h 03m Attuned ♥ 1 A very inventive and fun game. I've never played a music game like this. The music was very enjoyable and I liked the way it evolved. I also liked the different difficulty options and the game not making me feel bad for using them.
Oct 17 19:18:01 72h 49m Witch in a hurry ♥ 0 The graphics were very cute, I liked all the little details. I also liked that the house expanded between the levels. Changing input keys was an interesting mechanic to build the game around. I found it quite hard to parse the prompt in time when the input changed, but I still had fun. Some of the input variations were pretty mind bending.
Oct 17 19:29:45 11m 44s Triangles and more triangles and more.. ♥ 1 Nice graphics and colors. I found the game to be a good length and the difficulty ramp to be nice. I gave up on the last level though πŸ˜… The game was very polished and had a nice atmosphere.
Oct 17 19:40:59 11m 14s Microgame Mayhem ♥ 1 I'm impressed with the number and quality of the minigames. The aesthetics were nice and cohesive, I liked that the ball you controlled would stay the same between the games, while the controls and surroundings changed. There was also a nice amount of polish to everything, and the animations were very satisfying.
Oct 21 06:15:46 82h 34m KindergARTen ♥ 0 What a fun idea. Your take on the theme was great, and I love how you've embraced the awkwardness of painting with a mouse by turning it into finger painting. I really liked the humor and style and overall the game felt polished and fun to play. On a technical level, I'm impressed you pulled this off, the judging of the paintings worked really well.
