| Oct 4 07:00:30 | We Stole Aliens | ♥ 1 | Hey! Fellow Godot user! You haven't uploaded a version for Mac users :( I would love to play but I don't have access to Windows/Linux hardware | |
| Oct 4 07:07:21 | 6m 51s | Divide and Democratize | ♥ 1 | I'm not sure I fully understand the mechanics of the game. I played a few rounds but wasn't really sure if I was making progress or not. Is it purely random or is there some strategy to this? I am glad you made an HTML version of the game. I'm on a Mac and so many people only upload a Window .exe - which is a shame as most game engines support all major platforms. Some things to maybe improve: 1. Make the mechanics a little clearer 2. Add some "rewards" for doing all - sound effects, popups, etc. I did like the concept though - sadly a bit too real! |
| Oct 4 07:16:57 | 9m 36s | Regular Railway | ♥ 3 | I really loved this! It must have a been a really effort to deliver this game in the timeframe. Everything was easy enough to understand and I was quickly routing trains to the correct locations. It was pretty tricky on even the second level! Main trains backed up and blocked the portal real quick. Maybe having a slightly larger selection of tracks to select from would have tweaked that difficulty slightly. Or you could provide a "set" per level and leave out the randomness. The music helped set the mood really nicely. This is a very strong game jam entry. I enjoyed it a lot. One other thing, it was great to see instructions for Mac users - I feel loved! |
| Oct 4 07:25:33 | 8m 36s | Rhythm Loops | ♥ 1 | I wish I'd payed more attention when recording as I made my rhythm too hard to play back! Great concept., Well executed. As bonus my 4yo son loved it too! Pretty nicely polish for a 3 day jam too :) |
| Oct 4 08:28:58 | 1h 03m | Oroboros | ♥ 2 | Amazing beautiful game - so much here in a short time. Some tips to improve: 1. Allow pickup objects without mouse cursor being on them - it's too hard to pick up apples 2. Add some sound effects for wolves, attacks, object pickup, etc. The music should be helping to set the mood, but sound should help inform the player what is going on for things like the sun etc. 3. You mention you are trying to fix the light levels, it is too dark, shadow opacity should be down a bit too I think Massive thank you for uploading a Mac version. Too many entries only have a PC option |
| Oct 4 08:30:33 | 1m 35s | DEEP DIVE | ♥ 1 | Sadly no Mac version available to download. Would love to play this! |
| Oct 4 10:53:05 | 2h 22m | Murder on the Horizon | ♥ 3 | Hey is this a Unity project? Would you be able to export a Mac version as well? Would love to be able to play and rate |
| Oct 4 10:55:02 | 1m 57s | KAMPFtomato | ♥ 0 | Does your game engine (Unity?) support Mac exports? Would love to be able to play |
| Oct 4 12:58:58 | 2h 03m | Alone | ♥ 0 | You wouldn't be able to export a Mac version too? I'd love to play it Linux users might also be happy to have a d/l |
| Oct 4 19:13:14 | 6h 14m | Laika's Revenge | ♥ 1 | I quite enjoyed the simplicity and the relaxed nature of the game. The auto-fire Tesla pack thing was a breath of fresh-air! I loved not having to worry too much about aiming for once! Some tips: Faster player movement! Was very slow! Compensate by increasing the difficulty if needed Tesla gun was great but was available at the start and it made me lazy, maybe make player earn it first Loved the graphic style here, but sound needed more work Godot user? Nice. |
| Oct 4 19:14:13 | 59s | Sonar | ♥ 3 | Do you have the ability to release a Mac or web build? I'd love to play! |
| Oct 4 19:15:05 | 52s | The Cult of the Ancient One | ♥ 0 | Are you able to release a Mac or Web build? Would love to play! |
| Oct 4 19:15:29 | 24s | Steamship Battle | ♥ 2 | You able to release a Mac or Web build? Would love to play! |
| Oct 4 19:16:00 | 31s | 10 Second Defence | ♥ 1 | Do you have the ability to release a Mac or web build? I’d love to play! |
| Oct 4 19:19:53 | 3m 53s | Fatal Desolation | ♥ 3 | Oh wow, that was hard to control! Loved the atmosphere and the graphics. As another commenter said, it also reminds me of Descent, only a very stop-start Descent as I kept bumping into walls and having to wait for the boost to rescue me! Great entry, but work on the controls more! |
| Oct 4 19:21:02 | 1m 09s | A day of the priest | ♥ 0 | Do you have the ability to release a Mac or web build? I’d love to play! |
| Oct 4 19:22:11 | 1m 09s | 1,2,3... 10 soleil ! | ♥ 0 | Do you have the ability to release a Mac or web build? I’d love to play! |
| Oct 4 19:22:31 | 20s | Enemies always make big speeches | ♥ 1 | Do you have the ability to release a Mac or web build? I’d love to play! |
| Oct 4 19:27:10 | 4m 39s | Table Scraps | ♥ 2 | This is totally bizarre. I love it! The controls are pretty weird too - the jumping etc. But I thought it was a perfect match to the general weirdness! How do you come up with this stuff!? Tip: Ideally platforms should not collide when you are travelling up, only on landing - makes jumping easier to handle. A totally mad and zany entry. Love it! |
| Oct 4 19:34:55 | 7m 45s | Morning Coffee Hit | ♥ 1 | I loved the concept and the game felt quite polished in many ways. I had to rage quite in the second level as I felt my stress levels rising with each customer! And that was on Easy mode! So I think you have *perfectly* capture the essence of working as a Barista! Can I say a MASSIVE thank you for uploading a Mac version! So many people don't and I feel very loved that you included me |
| Oct 4 19:44:06 | 9m 11s | Clique Hell High | ♥ 4 | This was a neat concept. I can't really think of a game where the player swaps characters without any user control and where each character has certain strengths and weaknesses. I'm not great at games that require being able to focus when there is lots going on onscreen, but that's just me, so it was challenging to play. But nice concept and well executed |
| Oct 4 20:04:03 | 19m 57s | The CyberZapper | ♥ 1 | That was an astonishing entry with highly polished visuals and a strong concept that created a fun experience that lasted a while even on first attempt. The experience was somewhat baffling in places as I really wasn't quite sure how to control my Zapp... and the weapons I ended up with didn't really seem to have any logical connection to what I did in the previous room. But I really enjoyed messing about and shooting things randomly all the same! I also loved that you managed to upload an HTML version of the game so Mac users like myself could join in the fun. Really appreciate the inclusivity there |
| Oct 4 20:11:45 | 7m 42s | Flip and Swap | ♥ 2 | This is a fiendishly tricky puzzle-type platformer. I think the concept is pretty good, but the controls feel a little rough around the edges. A little move responsiveness needed here maybe. Look into things like coyote time and jump buffers, and tune the player speed to try to give a nicer feel to the player controls. The idea of platforms switching in an out on the timer is a suitable link to the theme. I would like to see more of that but giving you access to secret rooms etc. |
| Oct 4 20:13:36 | 1m 51s | Game 0 | ♥ 2 | Could you upload a Mac or HTMl version maybe? |
| Oct 4 20:13:59 | 23s | Wall-Run | ♥ 0 | Could you upload a Mac or HTML version? |
| Oct 4 20:14:46 | 47s | Dice Against Time | ♥ 1 | Do you have the ability to upload a Mac or HTMl version? I'd love to play! |
| Oct 4 20:16:11 | 1m 25s | Finest Urban Planning | ♥ 0 | I'd love to play but the Mac version wouldn't open for me on my M1. What game engine do you use? |
| Oct 7 12:58:30 | 64h 42m | Bots, Bots, Bots | ♥ 3 | I was excited when you posted a message that a Mac version was up. But alas it seems really buggy to me, played 4 or 5 times and couldn't make anything other than a single repair centre. I always ended up with no silicon and no robots and no real idea how I could progress further despite reading the tutorial twice in case I missed something. It's a real shame as the game looks really great the the concept is really nice too! I'm playing the Mac version on an M1 MBP in case that makes a difference, but UI elements keep not working properly and there was lots of lag at times. |
| Oct 16 06:17:08 | 209h 18m | Boss Wars | ♥ 0 | Hey I don’t have access to a windows machine I’m afraid. If you have the option of exporting a Mac build or HTML build I’ll check it out |
