Interesting game! I like the sound effects and the setting is pretty cool! The mouse controls are a bit weird, but other than that its pretty cool.
Great game! The graphics and audio mix well together, and the gameplay is fun too. This isn't about the game itself, but I think this post should have a screenshot or two. Some people might be dissuaded from trying out the game if they don't know what to expect.
A nice take on the theme! Mouse controls felt a bit weird and made it hard to aim precisely, it would probably be better to make the player point to the mouse cursor or something like that. The shooting & the timer were a bit confusing: sometimes the players shoots when the timer hits 9/10, sometimes he doesn't; sometimes the counter goes with a different speed or even goes backwards. Sometimes it was possible to go through doors and I ended up somewhere I shouldn't have been :D (added a screenshot) In the end I entered some room and the game just jumped to the main menu, so I guess I've won? :)

I had a quick thought about a 'weapon shoots every 10 seconds' mechanic when the theme was announced and it's so cool to see that in action here! The visuals are gorgeous, especially the lighting and the laser/flamethrower effect. I also think the title music is kind-of a banger. Nice game :)
Really solid and polished game! The atmosphere, which is conveyed through the use of the audio, lighting, and overall layout of the map communicates a sense of urgency and hopelessness to the player, which is great. The "10 second" theme is implemented through a power generator which pulses every 10 seconds, which is quite creative. However, the level design should be align with this feature to make the game feel more "fun" instead of frustrating at times. Overall, this game is a hard-hitter and was quite fun to play through!
I managed to get to the escape pod yay :D Nice game, feels a bit unfinished. Unfortunately I could not defeat anything with my superpowerful flamethrower! Graphics are really nice! Just in the room before the escape pod the time counter got a bit confused. It started counting down and sometimes up - maybe its on purpose, it got me confused :D Music was a bit too monotone for my ears. Anyways nice work guys!
You wouldn't be able to export a Mac version too? I'd love to play it
Linux users might also be happy to have a d/l
@lisyarus thanks for the awesome feedback. The timer going in different speeds and backwards (as well as the sound cue scrambling) is actually part of the game. the story is that the weapon is malfunctioning so it gets more difficult to know when the weapon is shooting. But I guess this should have been more clear XD thanks for the feedback!
Awesome graphics and idea about shooting every 10 secs. Sometimes I was a little confused what to do though :P I love the death sound btw!
Love the gun only shooting every 10 seconds. I was a bit confused when the game started and there was nothing to shoot. Then I saw the bugs in the bottom corridor.
Great looking game with some really nice graphics. liked the implementation of the theme and the audio was fitting. Good entry!
Rotating the character with mouse movement gives it a weird and clunky feeling, better to have a cursor and make a character rotate towards it's position)

I laughed, hard.
The level design is nicely laid out, the visuals are mint and almost all of the sounds are very compelling.
The control of where you are aiming though... oof.
I loved the rest of it, if it has been a where-the-cursor-is aiming, or even just giving me more of a leeway on where "aim" is, then it would be less of an issue, but I had far too many times where an enemy was walking alongside the beam and I just had to watch them come eat me. :(
Overall though, it's a great great entry. The only thing to "fix" would be the mouse control, and that's a stunning thing for a game jam game!
Thanks for the fun. =)
I think I am doing something wrong ^^" As I do not see any of my following points in the comments above.
First of all: the graphics are just.. out of this world ( ~~no~~ pun intended). I can see a lot of work has been put into that. Same with the audio effects. The music in the main menu does not really fit with the theme you are going with here.
The (mouse) controls needs getting used to in my opinion. While pressing W, you are indeed going north, but I expected the player to go forward in relation to how the player is standing. Then again, I'm not really a gamer, so maybe my feedback about the controls is not correct.
Some other things I found: - The charging of the gun was not always consistant. And sometimes it would not fire. - If I tried, I could walk through doors that have been closed - I could not really find the escape-pod
Nice audio and video effects, keep working on this project
Cool and interesting game!
Cool game. The game looks good and plays well. Nice work.
