Decent concept with awesome graphics for the sleeping screen. I enjoyed the concept of the game. Maybe working on more of the top-down aspect would help!

**Another post here which absolutely enjoyed the fluidity** and intuitiveness of both the UI and the gameplay. This game benefits from a mixture of solid core gameplay and polished functionality. However, like many games it falls short in terms of content, which is not that big of a problem considering its in Compo. I want to give some feedback according to what I felt in the 15 minutes of gameplay from the game.
- The notion of the area in which the player engages in endless duels is very well thought out. However, the narrowness and lack of area the battleground supports limits the "fun"ness of the core gameplay. It sucks out what could have been an amazing core gameplay component. Maybe considering altering the area? Also, dying if you touch only the very edge is extremely frustrating for any player. Maybe considering draining the health instead?
- The graphics were eye-candy for anyone honestly! That was one of the main strong suits of the game! If this was expanded further, the game would have won me over completely with the graphics department. Great graphics dont depend on ray-tracing and exaggerated shadows.
- The enemies AI was kinda clunky which made fighting them less enjoyable. They are already quite solid, but its just some room for improvement that would've up your game to another level.
**Overall, one of the best compo games I've encountered in terms of striking a balance between all the elements of the game. Exceptional.**
Polished and effective game with entertaining sprites and excellent art. The feel of the game (atmosphere) is absolutely on point, with the excellent anime-inspired artwork and military themes. The artwork goes superb to the game. The gameplay is quite interactive, filled with sound-effects which adds to the intuitiveness and intractability of the game. One little criticism-- maybe add more instructions on how to play the game?
Other than that, the game is superb.
It has been said time and time again, **but congrats on the completed game!** This game is solid and fun! Even though this concept is no stranger to the keen eye, it could be said that you really expanded upon the idea with the theme and the upgrades, which contributed to a polished and coherent game. That is something you do not find as much!
**For the gameplay, I've summed up my opinions into the following:** - The *movement is great* makes total sense, from the perspective of a developer. However, for the average player, it may feel clunky and irresponsive. It is realistic though, which gives it a huge plus in my eyes. - The spell switching and casting is a great concepts with a easily usable implementation. One suggestion here: maybe make the cast performing quicker to make the game feel more responsive - The dimension switching was *on spot*.
For graphics, I understand the limitations of a GameJam. The game was already excellent in its own right, and I really enjoyed the artistic direction!
The humor was a decent touch to the game. Adds to the mood. **You should feel proud of your game!**
Really solid and polished game! The atmosphere, which is conveyed through the use of the audio, lighting, and overall layout of the map communicates a sense of urgency and hopelessness to the player, which is great. The "10 second" theme is implemented through a power generator which pulses every 10 seconds, which is quite creative. However, the level design should be align with this feature to make the game feel more "fun" instead of frustrating at times. Overall, this game is a hard-hitter and was quite fun to play through!
Outstanding game which deserves a five star rating from everyone! It is the first game during this GameJam in which I have given a 5-star rating. The combination of the excellent UI, Sprites, Animation, and well thought out and brilliantly implemented core gameplay made the game a hard-hitter in my books. There were a few great, and maybe a few other critiques I have found through my playthroughs of the game.
1. The gameplay was extremely solid. The skill-tree was THE idea which elevated the core gameplay to a higher level. Now, we have seen this implementation many times, but this was nonetheless enjoyable and well thought out. Skills Trees do not work without excellent planning. I give gameplay a solid 4.5. That .5 is gone because this is done a lot!
2. The artistic direction was absolutely hilarious. The title and the combination between the violent gameplay and anger coming from the random people sold the humor of the game for me. Solid.
3. Now, with that being said, I do not see the connection to the theme that well. Sure, it might be added as an element. But the game could have been the same **without** the theme. Personally I feel the game should revolve around theme, it being an *integral* part. That is the main critique from me.
4. The game was *irresistible*, which not many games, even AAA titles could achieve. It was the blend of the humor, art, combat, and theme (not topic) which made for such a great experience. Props to you for thinking of that. The style was extremely appropriate for a Jam! No compromises made, which is seen in 90% of games.
Superb, Magnificent, Splendid and all those words. **The game is a 5.**
Satisfactory little mini-game of tank battles that is really soothing for quick fire explosive action. Controls feel responsive along with the music, which gives it a overall decent mood. One little thing, the text is really blurry, which gives the game a cheaper feel, but that was compensated for by the mechanics which were quit good. Thanks for working on this game, and great job!
Solid Game which benefits from the clear atmosphere, supported by some effective art! Congratulations on the completed game! No hard feelings and I can only hope you improve in the future!
