| Oct 3 06:50:14 | In The Hair Tonight | ♥ 1 | Great concept! I'm a big fan of the soundtrack, and the gameplay loop was unique. Moving my hand from one side of the keyboard to the other to go to the upgrade station felt a little clunky, but the audio and core gameplay loop are solid. I'm excited to see where this one goes! | |
| Oct 3 07:07:25 | 17m 11s | Otherworld Kitchen | ♥ 0 | Nice twist on the theme! I like that the difficultly scales as you progress. Some of the foods don't work quite as advertised, but it's no less than the main character deserves! Fun story, great concept for this theme. |
| Oct 3 22:27:22 | 15h 19m | Chaos Pigeon | ♥ 3 | This was a blast to play. Lots of old school GTA vibes, just more entertaining. The sound track is great and fits really well. I think the rounds were a bit too long. I caught myself looking at the time with about 90 seconds remaining each round I played. Overall, a fun bit of chaos! |
| Oct 3 22:57:31 | 30m 09s | Slow Mo Samurai | ♥ 2 | Holy cow, this one is soooo good! I loved the music and the gameplay was great. The white bullets are a bit hard to see on the light yellow backdrop, so introducing some more contrast for better readability would make this game even more enjoyable. Really really like your game! |
| Oct 4 03:19:13 | 4h 21m | Waddle In Time | ♥ 0 | Cool puzzle game! Couldn't finish it, but I got a good taste for the overlapping time elements, very thematic! |
| Oct 4 03:36:43 | 17m 30s | Plop | ♥ 2 | I like the direction this game is headed. It's a little hard to plan your move without knowing the order in which the characters will act, but the system overall feels solid. Like the simple design and winter aesthetic! |
| Oct 4 03:43:42 | 6m 59s | Four Seasons In One Play | ♥ 2 | Fun game! I like the shooting and cover system, they are fairly intuitive to understand once you get the buttons figured out. I love that you went for multiplayer for a jam and I can see where this would be a good time with friends! I also think some sound would really help bring it to life. Fun concept! |
| Oct 4 03:54:38 | 10m 56s | Super Garden Lord | ♥ 1 | I think this is the closest anyone has ever come to understanding "rage gardening". What delightful chaos this is! I love the art style, and the sound fits well, though I might need to get new headphones now after holding down the spacebar after the 70 second marker...Great game, thanks for the epilepsy warning! |
| Oct 4 04:32:57 | 38m 19s | Dare to Jam | ♥ 3 | This game is so solid! The play is simple but polished, the sound is excellent and I'm a huge sucker for getting to pick your own sound blend in a game 😃 . One thing to improve: the readability of the items people are working on. The content is too funny and well thought out to not make easier to pick up on a glance. Heavier font might help there. Super fun, super meta, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. |
| Oct 4 04:42:21 | 9m 24s | What's Under The Teapot? | ♥ 2 | Very chill memory game. Would benefit from a classy soundtrack. I like that you fleshed out the space beyond the focal point of the game |
| Oct 4 04:58:01 | 15m 40s | Oxylunky | ♥ 1 | Very cohesive look and feel, love the little details in the environment. Having to start from the beginning every time was a bit frustrating, but it did give me time to take in the mood of the game more. Well done! |
| Oct 4 14:54:11 | 9h 56m | Moonbase | ♥ 1 | I really like this concept and the game is fun to play. An in-game description of each block, what it does, and what it takes to build might be a welcome addition. Looking forward to seeing where this one goes! |
| Oct 4 14:59:53 | 5m 42s | THE WORLD NEEDS BISCUITS! | ♥ 1 | Your itch.io link appears to be broken. Looking forward to playing this when it comes up! |
| Oct 4 18:28:33 | 3h 28m | Tiny Tiny Orbit | ♥ 1 | Very nice! The gameplay, art, and sound compliment each other very well, and it feels very cohesive. The control scheme feels a bit spread, requiring the use of both WASD and Arrow keys, and then control to interact is a bit much. Maybe using ctrl to cycle through the different options would feel better? Overall, this is a phenomenal game so far, and I could this turning into a bigger game I would pick up. |
| Oct 4 22:08:11 | 3h 39m | Super Auto Crusaders | ♥ 3 | Super fun to play, great little strategy game, and I love all the upgrade options. |
| Oct 4 23:50:49 | 1h 42m | Poppy Birds | ♥ 2 | Nice game! I enjoyed some of the back and forth the bird did, and the powerups where fun. |
| Oct 5 00:02:35 | 11m 46s | A Space Polka in Ten Parts | ♥ 1 | Loved the intro and the overall vibe of the game. The random events every ten seconds were good to shake things up. I got really unlucky my first run and lost my second guy almost immediately. It took me a second to catch on to what I was supposed to be doing, but I figured it out after my first run. A background change with the "warp" every 10 seconds might make it easier to catch on to the shifts. Overall, good fun, nice bit of chaos. |
| Oct 5 00:38:16 | 35m 41s | Spell Survivors | ♥ 1 | I am in love with this game. Its easy to pick up, fun, fast paced, and the sound, art, and gameplay link up really well. I think it would be cool to see your stats (fireball size, damage, move speed, cast speed, etc) either throughout the game or as an endgame summary page. A joy to play. Thank you for making this game! |
| Oct 6 13:57:39 | 37h 19m | Honk Hard | ♥ 2 | This game has so much going for it: the art, the gameplay, the puns, the MELON, the soundtrack. I think some feedback when the player gets hit would be super helpful, some audio and/or visual cues. Also, an on screen visual of the upgrades you selected would be nice to have, just to keep track of what worked or didn't work for me on my last run. Overall, fantastic entry! |
| Oct 6 14:12:55 | 15m 16s | Wizard's Basement | ♥ 2 | There is sooo much going on in this game! The control scheme is a little odd to get used to, but the gameplay is solid, the art and sound are very well done, and this is overall a fantastic game. |
| Oct 6 14:28:23 | 15m 28s | Starshot | ♥ 2 | What a rush! This game definitely requires you to make full use of your 10 seconds and the upgrades are fun and force you make snap decisions. I had a hard time with terrain readability: What is a viable path, where are the edges of map, where is there a hole in the floor that feels like it is too small for me to fall into that is nearly invisible while charging down the path at break-neck speeds to reach the flag. The procedural generation was excellent for variety in the maps, and the game was insanely fun to play. |
| Oct 6 22:07:09 | 7h 38m | Murmillo vs Murmillo | ♥ 1 | I played both players by myself, and I can see how hectic this game could get. I'm a big fan of the music for this game, and I'm curious what additions like buffs or more players might do for this game. Very nice submission! |
| Oct 6 22:14:40 | 7m 31s | Stardark | ♥ 0 | I really like the concept, though there doesn't seem to be a way to win? The music is really good and fits the game really well. |
| Oct 6 22:17:50 | 3m 10s | Heaven or Hell | ♥ 1 | @ryan-miller @greenmat Looking forward to playing this once the imbed works. Currently getting this error: Failed to read the 'serviceWorker' property from 'Navigator': Service worker is disabled because the context is sandboxed and lacks the 'allow-same-origin' flag. |
| Oct 7 14:03:46 | 15h 45m | Internal Business Struggle | ♥ 1 | So much to love about this game! While the humor is a little below the belt (heh), the game is well polished, understandable, very consistent in it's styling, and just ridiculously fun! Well done all around! |
| Oct 7 17:35:51 | 3h 32m | Count Down Dracula | ♥ 2 | Such a fantastic game! Super well executed, looks great, sounds great, plays great, hits the theme. Solid all the way around. Phenomenal job |
| Oct 7 17:52:50 | 16m 59s | GRABOUL | ♥ 2 | Very nice! The rotation with the bullets works well, and I can see where this can get hectic as a party game, especially if you add interactions between the player (being able to push/pull each other around, change gravity outside the timer, cause more bullets to spawn, etc.). It's got a great vibe already, excited to see where this goes! |
| Oct 13 02:43:12 | 128h 50m | 360° MICROSCOPE | ♥ 1 | Super fun, and the soundtrack was great! Some audio feedback when the laser is ready would be a great small improvement. |
| Oct 13 02:53:03 | 9m 51s | 10 sec to witch pain | ♥ 2 | Interesting puzzle game. The ten second timer adds some challenge for sure. |
| Oct 13 03:02:50 | 9m 47s | The Lure of Treasure Whisper Island | ♥ 1 | Very nice! A nice take on the theme. I wish I could open the treasure :( |
| Oct 13 03:25:25 | 22m 35s | Wanderhythm | ♥ 1 | Very cool! The style changes are very well done, and the art is well done. |
| Oct 13 03:47:05 | 21m 40s | Platelet Commander | ♥ 1 | I love a good science game, and this one is very nice! Not sure how to win the game once I got the clots in place and upgraded, but its a very cool concept and I love this game. |
| Oct 13 04:03:50 | 16m 45s | Wizard Heist | ♥ 1 | I love the old school vibe of the game and the art and sound bring that together beautifully, very well done. The gameplay itself was interesting, and it took me several goes to get through it. It was kind of hard to read what was interactable or not the first go through, but trial and error was a good teacher there. Overall, very nice! |
| Oct 13 05:00:19 | 56m 29s | Pillagers Plague | ♥ 2 | Great twist on a tower defense game. The revive really adds an extra element. Had a small bug where I would accidentally place a tower on top of the tower "shop" buttons and it would then make it impossible to see what tower I was selecting from then on because of the range circle. Other than that, some sound would add a lot to what is already a very solid game. Well done! |
| Oct 13 05:12:23 | 12m 04s | Flicker | ♥ 1 | I love this game! It's very simple and mechanically strong, and the story and aesthetic come together very well into a nicely polished package. The main thing I would help is a good intro and outro sound track. There is something about the silence as you play that is very fitting, but I think some audio "bookends" would be fitting, either surrounding each room or maybe just to the game as a whole. Absolutely one of my favorite submissions so far! |
| Oct 13 17:38:27 | 12h 26m | Judge Absurdia | ♥ 0 | What an absurdia game! Had a lot of fun with this one, it was funny and mechanically sound. |
| Oct 13 17:56:19 | 17m 52s | Untitled Cat Game | ♥ 2 | Neat game and a good overall concept and take on the theme. I like the music and the quick gameplay. The gameplay is pretty rough around the edges: the controls are jarring, there are errors every end game, and other than survival I am not sure what the goal of the game is. All that said, this game is already very fun and has a lot of potential. |
| Oct 13 18:01:58 | 5m 39s | Watch Wizard | ♥ 1 | Top marks for innovation, and thanks for adding the web port! The idea of making a gamejam entry for smart watches is most excellent. The gameplay is simple and clean, and I think is an excellent proof of concept. Well done! |
| Oct 13 18:41:18 | 39m 20s | Don't press this buzzer | ♥ 1 | It's kinda silly how high I am rating this game, but it's fun, simple, and well put together. If this is an "unplanned" entry, I'm crazy curious what the real deal would have looked like! |
| Oct 13 18:50:59 | 9m 41s | Break-New-Fast | ♥ 3 | It's an interesting concept, but I definitely struggled to figure out what to do at the beginning and how to do it, though I think that may have more to do with the imbedded version being very hard to use due to screen size constraints. I thought the story got really interesting, and I would love to see where this goes from here. |
| Oct 13 19:16:46 | 25m 47s | Mages Arena | ♥ 1 | I was surprised by the amount of depth and strategy there is in this simple looking game. I was surprised by the utter chaos that ensued the first time I teleported into the arena, and I got pretty salty at just how many kills the AI stole that first game. Enjoyed the gameplay very much, and would love to see what this would be like with sounds of all the wizards casting all the time. 😄 |
| Oct 13 21:07:43 | 1h 50m | Steam-Machine Survival | ♥ 2 | The sound and visuals are super slick and very impactful. They definitely give that strong punch that makes it feel real, so exceptionally done! The game could use some more stuff to do: differing enemies, upgrades, a win condition, etc, but the foundation that's here is stellar. |
| Oct 13 21:14:09 | 6m 26s | The Zero Countdown | ♥ 1 | Solid entry, and as a number of people have already indicated the leader board is a fantastic idea to keep people playing. Good execution, though having a larger field of view would add to the game a good bit, as would a background track. Not that it needed either of those things to keep me playing 😃 |
| Oct 13 22:37:56 | 1h 23m | Twilight Souls | ♥ 1 | Wonderful game! The art, the music, the gameplay, the puzzles: it all comes together in such a polished package. The tutorial was very clear and well executed. The controls take a bit to get used to, but once you get the hang of it this is an absolutely impressive entry. 👏 |
| Oct 15 05:37:16 | 30h 59m | Wait 4 upgrade | ♥ 3 | Looks good, sound is pretty good, and the gameplay is enjoyable. Very polished look and feel. |
| Oct 15 05:47:51 | 10m 35s | Piggy Go Bye Bye | ♥ 1 | I played this waaaay too much. Excellent execution on the mechanics, it was loads of fun figuring out different ways to get at that bacon. Brilliantly done! |
