Apr 5 00:07:14 The Adventure of a Lifetime ♥ 1 :'( wow, great work, I honestly want to give it 5 stars across the board, but it feels wrong to give it 5 stars for "Fun" :(
Apr 5 13:43:54 13h 36m Taxed to Death ♥ 0 the web build seems to loop, which, in it's own way, is kindda quirky :P, do I need Godot to run the desktop version? :) Edit: Now it's fixed and I've tried it, really fun :) I was originally a bit surprised that there's a song with lyrics playing over it, but it did tie in nicely with the game.
Apr 5 14:07:37 23m 43s Shoal ♥ 4 Wonderful, it was so peaceful and at the same time so chaotic :D Also, I got to 22 fishes :D
Apr 5 14:43:21 35m 44s Misfortune in the Galaxy ♥ 1 What an amazing game, wonderful humor, great music, really stressful gameplay :D. Loved the graphics and style.
Apr 6 05:55:39 15h 12m WHEN NANA SAYS IT'S TIME FOR SCHOOL ♥ 3 wow, I hadn't even considered this avenue for making a game, really innovative. It's like a low tech version of a digital tabletop rpg :D
Apr 6 06:21:40 26m 01s A Dank Cave ♥ 1 Love the ascii graphics, there's a subtle light effect on it, that really pops. The only problem with making it a browser game was that the page would sometimes scroll up or down when I moved in that direction. I really like the text box with information on the left side describing your actions and going "delaying the inevitable", really nice and ominous :)
Apr 6 06:30:48 9m 08s Say No to Goblin! ♥ 1 wonderful concept, loved the goblin design and music especially
Apr 6 06:43:01 12m 13s Life of an Intern ♥ 1 loved the game, it felt really finished. The cause of deaths notices made laugh a lot :D, great job! I would like to see a more densely populated area, maybe powerups and someother way to extend your life. But This is just if you're considering making this into a full game :D
Apr 6 13:34:43 6h 51m TAB-BOT ♥ 0 How do I explain to my boss that he's not getting those spreadsheets today? I don't wanna make TAB bot sad :( Also neat little idea, with a very cohesive graphical style, sorta like a 2-bit 30's rubberhose cartoon
Apr 6 20:29:03 6h 54m Trauma Center (futile medical care edition) ♥ 1 This is why I quit medical school. Great idea, with a solid game loop, constantly checking the monitors and picking the right colours. The different alert sounds playing depending on what colour is a big help. There were some performance issues though on both the webGL and the desktop version.
Apr 6 21:16:12 47m 09s Kharon's Twilight ♥ 1 Neat game, it's a bit too repetitive, maybe turns can run on a timer? either way it's an interesting concept that can be expanded upon
Apr 6 21:27:06 10m 54s The Fumbling Wizard ♥ 1 Amazing and fun :D the first time was really confusing, UNTIL I looked up, and saw the F#$@ng moon approaching at an alarming rate. The funny messaages at the end is great, the weird potions and the frantic gameplay is a great mix :D
Apr 6 21:43:12 16m 06s The Hill I Die On ♥ 1 Great concept, though personally, I prefer to die on a hill about which captain is better Picard or Kirk :P The theme is used really well here, the music and sound is great, sets the mood perfectly. I like how the slashing/sword animation can be chained together. I can see on your itch.io page that you already know the range attack spam problem and I agree that an energy meter would limit it. Also something fun to consider is leaving blood/entrails/enemy remains on the ground as a "counter" instead of just a number :) Also nice to see someone going for a touch friendly control scheme, this could totally work on a smartphone/tablet :D
Apr 6 22:16:51 33m 39s Hyper Kremlin Bros. II Tournament Edition ♥ 2 great concept, amazing use of audio, especially at the end screen. I love the stylized graphics and music.
Apr 6 22:29:17 12m 26s Eldritch Crossing ♥ 2 got to 4:49 :D the graphics, sounds and ambient soundtrack sets the mood perfectly. Really well done and impressive :D
Apr 8 08:57:58 34h 28m AI: Raining Cats and Dogs ♥ 2 oh man, great idea with the pressure mechanic :D it really increases the tension. Also the sound every time something is missed is also a great way to increase the tension.
Apr 8 09:56:43 58m 45s Get your trash off my lawn! ♥ 1 Still not the worst neighbor I've had... fun game, I was surprised that the trash collided with each other it added a bit more strategy trying to hit trash in the air so it'd bounce.
Apr 8 10:15:20 18m 37s Five Knights in France ♥ 1 amazing atmosphere from the music and graphics :) It's a nice humorous comment on the famous quote. Also really great to see another Gamemaker dev :D
Apr 8 10:31:58 16m 38s darkwalker ♥ 1 wow, really inventive way to create a minimalist exploration game. The whole atmosphere is nicely built from the sounds, the player character is making as well as the environment.
Apr 8 11:20:58 49m 00s The Saga of Thorbjorn Olafsson ♥ 1 The graphics are great and the concept is really smart. Instead of controlling the runner you control the track. really clever. There's quite a few bugs, but I feel like that can easily be ironed out. The primary game loop is fun and fast paced.
Apr 8 11:54:19 33m 21s DataWorker ♥ 1 I like the concept of being a small drone moving tiny bits of data. It's really difficult to get the hang off, I feel like some pieces are almost impossible to grab. The graphics are pretty godd and the platform swaying slightly when moving is a nice touch :)
Apr 8 12:08:26 14m 07s PRO TAX SLACKER ♥ 3 Really fun concept, its fun to try and find the best combinations of slacking that works :P some of them seems a bit arbitrary, but that kindda adds to the fun of it. Petting the dog takes 13 hours! It's a great take on the theme
Apr 8 12:18:54 10m 28s Oh No My Trophy ♥ 1 my trophies :( I got them for participating....
Apr 8 12:31:26 12m 32s Pixel-Panic ♥ 1 Amazing game, the tutorial is well put together, the mechanics are easy to pick up and yet really difficult when you get into the thick of it. The graphics are really minimal and works well with the artstyle, concept and thumping music :D It doesn't seem like there's a cheating strategy, like there sometimes can be with jam games. It's really inventive and well made.
Apr 8 12:41:59 10m 33s Oedipus Rex ♥ 1 Loved the ending quote XD I hadn't even considered the Oedipus myth, but it's a great fit for the theme, really inventive and clever. The audio was nice and set the mood. The writing was good too :) I can't really say anthing about graphics, since... well it's a text adventure :P
Apr 9 00:02:17 11h 20m Defy Godwin ♥ 1 haha amazingly fun :D the music is a great fit for it. I'd love if I could see the offending message :/ The writing is great, really on point.
Apr 9 00:10:33 8m 16s Bomb-boozled ♥ 0 I can't seem to run it, it says its not made for 64-bit office :/ Screenshot 2022-04-09 020939.png
Apr 9 10:14:56 10h 04m FreeFall ♥ 2 great concept for this theme :) the music was really fitting and the graphics were really good. I loved the handpainted sprite of the player. It's deceivingly difficult, but I managed to stay alive for 148 seconds :D
Apr 9 11:04:46 49m 50s The End? ♥ 1 very fun and challenging, I'd imagine that with a friend it'd be a lot less difficult though :P it's a great fit for the theme, the main loop of getting gas, but also boosters to push the meteor away is really fun, sorta like a risk n' reward system. The graphics reminded me of all those newgrounds/flash games from the 2000's really fun to reminisce about those :D The audio works great in creating tension, while the meteor approaches. As for any additions to the mechanics aside from powerups etc. maybe some kind of saboteur that you'd have to kill before they siphon too much gasoline from the rocket. It feels like a very complete experience otherwise.
Apr 9 12:02:00 57m 14s Back2Work ♥ 1 Great idea for the theme. The controls are great and overall gamefell feels responsive. There's a couple of times where I could have sworn that my projectiles didn't hit the zombies, but it didn't affect the overall game experience. The sound effects and the graphics are great, I love the pixely 3d graphics. There was some spelling errors, but they don't really impact the experience alot. This is a really solid core game and there's a lot of potential for expanding more on it. :)
Apr 9 12:57:40 55m 40s The Last Church ♥ 2 The graphics and sounds are well put together. It is very difficult, or maybe I just suck at TD games :P probably the latter... The music was very good, really haunting and immersive. It puts you in the mood of a dire situation. Though maybe a city that plans its defense budget around how many people the defenses kill and not how many enemies are projected to show up is doomed from the start? :P
Apr 18 00:56:07 203h 58m Death Or Taxes ♥ 1 love all the funny names :D As soon as I got to Nullepart I was sure I was home :P The writing is really good and engaging with a funny twist at the end. Great job!
