Apr 14 04:16:31 Blockage ♥ 2 I absolutely loved the music, and it in combination with the art gave the game a uniquely tense vibe.
Apr 14 04:20:04 3m 33s Quota Qrunch ♥ 3 This game makes perfect use of the theme. The art is charming, and the gameplay is simple but fun. The sound effects when talking to an NPC really helped to make each one unique.
Apr 14 08:57:59 4h 37m Dawn of the Karen ♥ 1 The addictive gameplay and announcer made this one of my favorite entries so far. I do think the rate of fire is too slow (I would rather have reduced damage), and at one point I got lost off the side of the screen and had to restart. Overall a fun game.
Apr 14 09:32:01 34m 02s I Would Like to Thank the Academy ♥ 2 photo.png This is exactly what happened: in 1984 TED was founded, and in 1989 the US invaded Panama in order to hold the first TED Talk™; perfectly accurate. It's always fun playing around with generators like this, but it's hard to make them feel rewarding after the novelty wears off. It was a good idea to frame the game around giving a speech.
Apr 18 21:02:06 107h 30m They are coming! ♥ 0 I like the art, particularly the earth's animation. The different AI behaviors make the game much more interesting. What impressed me the most was the one that flies around the earth then beelines for it once close enough; this was difficult to counter while not feeling unfair. I think that enemies have a bit too much health.
Apr 18 22:35:20 1h 33m Oh No My Trophy ♥ 1 It took a little time for me to get the hang of it, but after that it was fun trying to get a higher score. The tip on not needing to click with the first weapon made the game a lot more enjoyable, so I would make it stand out more in the description (e.g. moving it up higher). The music fit the game well, and the animations are satisfying. Highscore: 572
Apr 18 23:30:11 54m 51s Door Man ♥ 1 The gameplay is intuitive and the art has a mood, but the real stand out for me is the music. It’s grooving. The first time I stepped off the pressure plate too soon had me laughing; seeing her launch off into the stratosphere just got to me.
Apr 18 23:56:33 26m 22s Can You Out Run It? ♥ 1 The art is cute, and the gameplay is fun. Beating hard mode had my heart racing. Moving sideways did feel a little sluggiest.
Apr 19 00:58:28 1h 01m CLIMATE GARDENING ♥ 2 The music is very relaxing, and the art is detailed. It took me a while to realize I needed to harvest plants for seeds, but everything else was easy to understand. Being able to speed the game up would be nice especially while trying to learn the game mechanics.
Apr 19 01:34:35 36m 07s Evacuation ♥ 1 The aliens are adorable; even their death animation is cute. The somber atmosphere mixed with their cuteness makes this game so good. It's like I'm in this horrifying war zone where all the combatants are barneys, and I'm just mowing them down. Absolutely made my day.
Apr 19 02:17:26 42m 51s Hummingbird ♥ 1 I never knew how hard it was to be a bird. The music is calming, and the game fits the theme well. I did find the game to be very difficult, but this did not really bother me because the game is relaxing.
Apr 19 03:12:22 54m 56s Dinosaur Apocalypse ♥ 1 The music fits the game well, the art is cute, and the game matches the theme perfectly. The gameplay is engaging, and it ramps up smoothly; though, I would like to see more depth to it.
Apr 19 03:52:35 40m 13s Inevitable Seige ♥ 1 I was unable to go through the tutorial due to it not fitting my 1366x768 monitor, so at first I found the game pretty difficult. Once I figured out how to use the mud to delay waves the game became really enjoyable. The art is nice to look at, and the music fits the pace of the game well. I survived to day 12, and really liked the game after the gameplay clicked.
Apr 19 04:07:26 14m 51s At Least You're Not Extinct Yet ♥ 1 That ending. The game fits the theme perfectly, the music is relaxing, and the art appealing. I would like to see an expanded version of this game.
Apr 19 04:40:54 33m 28s CRAB IS INEVITABLE! ♥ 1 This game has a lot of variety: from the different enemy sprites to the upgrades. I enjoyed playing through it. My first time at the Urchin Merchant I had trouble figuring out how to buy upgrades, but I got it quickly enough. I like the story's interpretation of the theme.
Apr 19 04:50:47 9m 53s World Pees ♥ 1 Finally the answer to California's drought problems.
Apr 19 05:08:28 17m 41s Only You Can Try In Vain To Prevent Forest Fires On An Active Volcano ♥ 1 I like the graphics (particularly the lighting), and the sound effects are on point. A good sense of humor and use of the theme. I found the game a little too easy, and some more game mechanics would have been nice. Overall a unique and fun game.
Apr 19 05:31:54 23m 26s The Witch's Curse ♥ 0 Took me some time to figure out the game loop, but once I did the game became very interesting. Love the music, and the characters are cute. I do think dying is a bit too easy; I would be doing fine then make a mistake that quickly cascaded into failure.
Apr 19 05:43:04 11m 10s Imposter Syndrome Surgeon ♥ 0 I don't see how it's unethical if it works? Surprisingly fun. The music fits the pace perfectly, and the art matches the tone of the game. Overall a fun entry.
Apr 19 06:21:12 38m 08s Morth II - but you are a shopkeeper in the forest town. ♥ 1 The music, art, and cards are well done. The gameplay needs explained a little better, but I would be interested in seeing an expand version of this.
Apr 19 06:34:19 13m 07s Necromicide ♥ 2 Really like the music, and the art has style (that melee animation is very satisfying). I would have liked a larger moveset, other than that this is an excellent entry.
Apr 19 06:46:58 12m 39s Interstellar Transport Pod ♥ 1 An interesting game. The music and art really set a mood. Like others have said: I did find myself continuously clicking, but I still found the game fun.
Apr 19 07:01:13 14m 15s Dead Stars ♥ 1 A little confusing, but the mood easily makes up for that. A unique and interesting entry.
Apr 19 07:26:58 25m 45s The Final Word: A Microsoft Word Platform Game ♥ 1 God I'm bad at plateformers. I don't know how I managed to out plateform Clippy but I did, and he will now haunt my nightmares. Would play again.
Apr 19 07:38:24 11m 26s Sir, your Armor is melting ♥ 1 The game controls very smoothly, and the art is clean. The gameplay is simple but fun. I could see this turning into a very good post jam game if sound effects were added and the gameplay expanded.
Apr 20 01:46:14 18h 07m Try Again ♥ 1 The page styling looks good, and the story is enjoyable. The looping mechanic made dying feel less repetitive. I like the music, good job.
Apr 20 05:00:55 3h 14m Lava Tactics ♥ 1 Cheat mode was very helpful for learning the game's systems.
Apr 20 05:49:10 48m 15s Death Or Taxes ♥ 1 I don't know why but I feel like the narrator doesn't like me. A fun story with interesting branches. Being able to quickly undo a decision is a nice touch that homegrown interactive fiction frequently lacks.
Apr 20 06:37:49 48m 39s The Bone Cold ♥ 1 The atmosphere reminds me of The Long Dark. Having the player character's animation change as they get colder is a nice touch. After the fire died out I would have liked to get a score or see my survival time.
