| Oct 4 10:12:02 | Stabler | ♥ 2 | Fun concept, the staple player character is creative and I like the idea of having a limited amount of jumps you can perform. However, there's not much to do since you get five clips per book or paper you staple and there's 200 clips at the top of the platform, and there's not many places to go. It's also easy to get stuck on the side of platforms and enemies, not to mention the papers and books can spawn on top of you and it's difficult to get them off. | |
| Oct 4 10:28:56 | 16m 54s | Instability | ♥ 3 | My highscore was 51.9. Love the simple design and the bloom shader, although the ropes are too difficult to handle since they kill a lot of momentum. Only lost one run in all my attempts to the anomaly, most of the time the jumps were too precise to get or the ropes couldn't swing far enough. |
| Oct 4 10:37:59 | 9m 03s | Cubility | ♥ 2 | Nice simple stacking game. I like how you can vary the strength of your throw by the angle and distance from the cube, although a preview could help. Not sure how it determines whether the landing is good or not, since I had some cubes land safely on the stack but it disappears. |
| Oct 4 10:39:11 | 1m 12s | Happy Stable | ♥ 1 | Where are the links? |
| Oct 4 11:06:40 | 27m 29s | Unstable Stick | ♥ 1 | This is difficult to the extreme, especially given there is no consistency with each jump. Just a tap of the direction will set your path in a variety of ways. I got all the way to the tiny platforms 15 minutes in and 150 deaths and even then I was impressed I made it that far what with two wall jumping sections. Great job! |
| Oct 4 11:20:07 | 13m 27s | Unstable Cargo | ♥ 1 | Neat idea, although I wish you could rotate crates, that could give more options to fit things in place. |
| Oct 4 15:40:48 | 4h 20m | Okay & Alright | ♥ 1 | Very nice game, really like the animation on the fish as well as how the text appears piece by piece. Very touching story as well. |
| Oct 4 15:46:30 | 5m 42s | Baserackcanball | ♥ 1 | Great opening music, a nice tennis style game where the bats randomly disable to keep you on your toes. ALso like the detail where if the can hits between the walls for too long it will change direction to go towards the player to keep the pace up. |
| Oct 4 16:11:05 | 24m 35s | Experiment #56 | ♥ 2 | Really enjoyed the challenge with this one, the rope physics were really good as it felt easy to carry momentum between platforms. I can understand why you can't rate audio but it felt odd having zero audio in the game. |
| Oct 4 16:15:15 | 4m 10s | Unstable Ground | ♥ 1 | Pretty good minimalist platformer, although I found some areas where you can get stuck and there's no way to restart. (This includes the second level) |
| Oct 4 17:30:32 | 1h 15m | An oddly SATISFYING game | ♥ 1 | This was a relaxing game to play, and I love the high definition visuals behind it. Is the recording loop feature desktop only? Would have been cool to see what the gifs looked like. |
| Oct 4 18:46:24 | 1h 15m | gone. | ♥ 1 | Really clever use of the theme, not only with an unstable square to control but the game breaking over time! Great stuff! |
| Oct 4 19:26:50 | 40m 26s | TECHNUCLEAR | ♥ 2 | This was really fun, the rythem fits really well with the golf mechanics. Took me a while to realise I shouldn't always shoot at full power. |
| Oct 5 14:46:51 | 19h 20m | Stien | ♥ 1 | Very well polished dice/card battle RPG, although I'm not very good at them so I'm struggling to get past the second character. Still like the amount of strategy in it, but there is a lot of luck to it too. |
| Oct 5 14:52:15 | 5m 24s | Space and keys | ♥ 0 | Great typing game, although it isn't clear that you also need to type spaces in between words, other typing games tend not to require you to press space. |
| Oct 5 15:06:39 | 14m 24s | Neon Saber | ♥ 3 | If only I can rate this game on humour, because the music and the idea of a chaotic lightsaber is hilarious whether it's intentional or not. Love the bloom/neon glow, and although it's hard to dodge the lightsaber, the levels are short and rewarding enough. |
| Oct 5 15:34:23 | 27m 44s | The Game: Unstable Version | ♥ 2 | Windows Defender says the game application is a trojan threat. 😟 |
| Oct 5 15:43:45 | 9m 22s | Potion Panic | ♥ 0 | Fun little doging game, although I had a few instances where the potion was purple and not doing anything. Since it also requires quick reaction times, you need the witch to change lanes really quickly, if not instantaneous. |
| Oct 5 16:04:18 | 20m 33s | The Nuclear Nightmare | ♥ 1 | There needs to be a start screen to avoid jumping right into the game, also as much as I like screenshake and motionblur, this was really heavy on it and it made the game disorientating. Otherwise I like the danger vibe this game has. |
| Oct 5 16:22:57 | 18m 39s | precAIRious | ♥ 1 | Decent flight sim, steering was less straightforward as I thought and it's very easy to go outside the bounds of the world, but it was fun to fly from island to island in an unstable aeroplane! |
| Oct 5 16:51:52 | 28m 55s | Badly Designed Cargo Delivery Pad | ♥ 1 | Very Lunar Lander-esque. Resetting is very awkward because the angular velocity doesn't get reset. Gameplay wise it feels very stiff, but the concept is pretty solid. |
| Oct 5 22:39:10 | 5h 47m | System Saver | ♥ 1 | Looks great, like the Motzart rendition. Gameplay is a bit simple and I'm not sure how you're able to regain your health above 50%. |
| Oct 6 21:42:00 | 23h 02m | Atomic Rock Paper Scissors | ♥ 1 | A clever mix of rock-papers-scissors and match-3. I feel like without any pressure to make a move, the game feels really slow, it'd be nice if perhaps a random move could happen if you take too much time making a decision. |
| Oct 7 13:00:27 | 15h 18m | Woops I Forgot My Ladder | ♥ 1 | Pretty fun concept, I like it. stacking boxes is pretty solid given the physics engine and how easy it is to move and place objects. Saw a power up near the start but couldn't figure out where to go before it ran out and couldn't find it again. |
| Oct 8 19:48:39 | 30h 48m | Deathrail | ♥ 3 | Pretty good autorunner, there's enough you need to do and check in order to stay engaging. However I would have liked the controls for balancing, switching, and jumping to be further apart so you're not trying to manage two directional movements on one hand. Still, I can imagine this working as a mobile game, where you tilt the phone to balance and swipe to switch lanes/jump. Keep up the good work. |
| Oct 8 20:31:46 | 43m 07s | Improbability Fighter | ♥ 1 | Decent single screen vertical shmup, the random glitched player is a neat idea and I like the different ships (especially the Tetris piece) and how they shoot and move. Great job! |
| Oct 10 10:20:32 | 37h 48m | Yeetr | ♥ 1 | This looked really nice, not a surprise given it's Unreal Engine 5. I got Portal vibes while playing, albeit with buttons, jump pads and moving platforms. The walls glitching out at certain angles to hint that you can clip through them was a really clever touch and fitting with the theme. Great work! |
| Oct 10 10:30:43 | 10m 11s | The Blue Bedroom | ♥ 1 | Beautifully done! Love to see more historical games like this one. |
| Oct 10 10:39:43 | 9m 00s | The Lesser Evil | ♥ 1 | Beat the game on Normal Evil Mode with only four deaths! This game was brilliant, the pixel art is clean and yet animations are really smooth, and the visual effects add to the difficulty really well. There are a lot of different curses to choose from, adding to the originality of the gameplay. I think some enemies had too basic of a design, but given the low resolution I'm guessing some limitations had to be considered. Great work! |
| Oct 10 16:00:54 | 5h 21m | 1000 Shells | ♥ 1 | Interesting idea of a puzzler, having the shelled enemies move base on your current direction adds a good level of challenge. When your instructions described only being able to move forward, I initially assumed the game would play with tank controls (i.e. W to move forward, A/D to rotate). I think the game would function better if the control scheme was like that, because there were times early on where I wasn't sure if I was moving or turning because of the key I pressed, same with having the player rotate as an animation instead of it snapping to the right angle. |
| Oct 10 21:16:19 | 5h 15m | Flat Earth (Not Another Rude Bear Game) | ♥ 2 | This was pretty calm and relaxing, then the music turned metal. |
| Oct 11 19:08:49 | 21h 52m | Snake Using Windows | ♥ 1 | This idea is just insane, that's all I can say. It just works. |
| Oct 14 22:46:02 | 75h 37m | Bullet Balance | ♥ 0 | Wow, bullet hell and a physics surface! This is a great combo! Also like the low res aesthetic you did. |
