| Apr 27 03:31:16 | Nav's Endless Nightmare | ♥ 1 | Doesn't seem to work for me, just loads forever :/ | |
| Apr 27 03:40:17 | 9m 01s | Drill18^2 - This is Just a Drill | ♥ 0 | An interesting take, I like it but it was somewhat hard to figure out how to play, took a few tries, cards had somewhat inconsistent terminology and could use some way to easier tell what their effect would be. |
| Apr 27 04:31:08 | 50m 51s | Deep_demo | ♥ 0 | I got as far as I could in the web version but I think it's a little broken on linux, I got quite a few items and explored all the rooms, and had the crazy phsyics area in my sleep (I liked that, it caught me off guard), but couldn't find anything to interact with after that. I saw the note about using the mouse in your description but I can only seem to inspect items, not use them. I like the minimalistic style but it's a little hard to see what the interaction arrow is over at times. |
| Apr 27 04:44:19 | 13m 11s | Marty and the Eldritch Horror | ♥ 1 | I like the mechanic, but don't really think it was used in an interesting way until the last level, could have made for some pretty interesting jumping puzzles. Nice polished art! If I have any real complaint it's how easily you get caught on corners and come to a complete stop, I died many times in the last chase by rubbing on a wall and just coming to a dead halt for some reason, but I was able to clear it. Might be a bug in the web player but the audio glitched quite a bit as well. Overall a really nice polished game! |
| Apr 27 05:00:42 | 16m 23s | Deeper Dungeons | ♥ 3 | Can confirm your linux version works fine. I like the idea of a combination top down/sidescroller ARPG but it's too incomplete still, without feedback on the hits or better motion you're basically just mashing and trading damage. After you beat the final boss you can actually just walk through the final wall and keep going into the void. I think with some better enemies and some work on the combat/levels this could be a solid idea for a full game though |
| Apr 27 05:05:20 | 4m 38s | The Miracle Mineral | ♥ 1 | I can't seem to move and don't hear sound, I think the linux version might be broken. |
| Apr 27 05:11:08 | 5m 48s | Into The Light | ♥ 1 | I like the art style, obviously the game is unfinished so there's not much to really play though. Really not a fan of the slippery slow physics for movement and jumping. |
| Apr 27 05:18:22 | 7m 14s | Destroyer Dave | ♥ 1 | The graphics are cute but the physics are frustrating, sometimes you turn around for no apparent reason, and you can't seem to actually stop sliding around. The levels all seem to be the same as well, nothing seemed to change each time I killed it. |
| Apr 27 05:23:45 | 5m 23s | Captain Jack's Revenge | ♥ 0 | Not bad, a little floaty, I don't know if I was bugged but my jump was so powerful I didn't need the platforms, I could clear the gaps without. Pretty standard platformer, the level is pretty large and the art is cute. |
| Apr 28 13:46:09 | 32h 22m | Haskell Miner | ♥ 0 | not 100% sure what's going on, maybe it's bugged? When I start the drill just starts doing it's own thing digging down like I'm watching someone else play (the multiplayer feature maybe?) then after about 30 seconds of the drill moving it and all the other arrows just stop and do nothing, I can't seem to control the drill or do anything no matter how many times I've tried launching it. |
| Apr 28 13:55:01 | 8m 52s | Deep Mine | ♥ 1 | The powerup collecting seemed kinda inconsistent, I'd pick them up and the counter wouldn't go up sometimes, the player sprite isn't bad, hard to see the dots on some of the blocks though. |
| Apr 28 14:13:12 | 18m 11s | Deep Dish Delivery | ♥ 2 | I loved the graphics and design, the jumping felt ok, really my only problem was the controls, having to use space and p,o,e,and t for buttons puts your hand in a super uncomfortable position like you're trying to vulkan nerve pinch your keyboard. could have used some invulnerability time after hits too, first time i got to gunther he insta-killed me because I got stuck on his axe. |
| Apr 28 14:31:47 | 18m 35s | Ski Trip | ♥ 3 | I loved it, great visuals and sound, responsive controls, very satisfying. My only real complaint is near the beginning that first dense grove of trees with the set path has a nearly impossible right turn followed by left that you have to turn well in advance of both and need pretty tight timing to make it through, it's by far the hardest thing in the whole game and it's right at the start so it may cause people to give up right there. Also those little groves right by the finish have gaps in them that look like you can fit through but you can't, it looks like you just smack an invisible wall if you try. |
| Apr 28 14:41:53 | 10m 06s | Bonbon and the Deep Below | ♥ 1 | I liked it overall, great graphics and sound, controls were ok, would have been nice if you could punch while jumping as if you dug in the wrong spot you were basically just trapped until the saw kills you. |
| Apr 28 15:00:38 | 18m 45s | Orpheus | ♥ 1 | Just FYI as well, you built against GLIBC_2.33 which isn't marked stable in pretty much any distro yet, even on gentoo I had to manually unmask that package as the latest stable glibc is 2.32. This will probably kill most distros from being able to play the game. Even after verifying I had all the newer versions of libraries you used I still can't launch though, on start it just does this. Hello, Linux! [Error][Linux] :: Failed to initialise |
| Apr 28 15:27:19 | 26m 41s | Corla | ♥ 2 | I liked it, kinda easy to get stuck in no-win situations on some floors though, the chill music really added to it. |
| Apr 28 21:05:23 | 5h 38m | Deeper Destiny | ♥ 1 | Managed to get to the end, the final boss was pretty much just trading damage since it's faster than you so if I hadn't gotten all the health powerups I wouldn't have won, not a huge fan of that. I like the art, and like the basic idea, could be expanded more, lots of the areas were just large flat platforms with tons of enemies that took 3 hits each. |
| Apr 28 21:27:56 | 22m 33s | DNO | ♥ 0 | It's kinda creepy, I like the style, the ladders are pretty janky and hard to get right where you want them though, and I don't like how you slip on everything but ladders as if it's made of ice. A little more work on the physics and it could be a pretty interesting cave exploration game! |
| Apr 28 21:50:23 | 22m 27s | Some Great Cave Offensive | ♥ 1 | Fun mechanic, good graphics, and actual interesting puzzles! things that happen between two screens seem to be really buggy though, if you die after a screen transition it seems to put you somewhere randomly on the screen you died instead of the screen you left so you can lose a LOT of progress and it's kinda frustrating, there also seems to be a bug where if you transition into air from digging after going to a screen you dig through the air for a bit, there was one star i couldn't get because I would dig through the air right past it and hit the far wall every time. Would probably be more fun with twin stick than mouse controls too, was a little hard to control at times. |
| Apr 30 02:38:52 | 28h 48m | Frog | ♥ 1 | IMHO I'd recommend mesen or higan for linux over FCEUX, FCEUX is pretty outdated and inaccurate and doesn't really do your sound and graphics justice. |
| May 1 00:45:23 | 22h 06m | You Are The Helmet! | ♥ 1 | reminds me a lot of those old newgrounds flash games where you launch some object then watch the mayhem. Add in some upgrades and other enemies and this is literally the kind of game i would have wasted dozens of hours on back in college, well done. Particularly love the graphics and sound. I did hit a bug though, for some reason it keeps not grabbing keyboard properly so I'd press A and D and it would jump away from the game and run a search, other webassembly and html5 games don't seem to do this for me so not sure why this one does. |
| May 1 00:46:52 | 1m 29s | Aquanaut | ♥ 0 | Tried a few times but never seems to load, sits at the unity webgl loading page forever. |
| May 1 01:10:52 | 24m 00s | Deep Sleep | ♥ 2 | A good take on the theme, and a good topic to cover in general. I liked the overall look + the music was very fitting. Really my only negative feedback at all is that theres a bad control bug, possibly something with the beta unity version used, where it's not working correctly with my mouse, I could only turn so far left or right before I just stopped turning (same with up and down) like it's not resetting the mouse calculation properly (acting like the mosue wasn't bound inside the window but it was!), because of this I had to do zoolander turns every other turn to go the direction that I wanted. |
| May 1 01:13:06 | 2m 14s | Rabbit Rappel | ♥ 1 | The webgl version doesn't seem to load for me but from what I've seen it looks amazing. |
| May 1 01:17:34 | 4m 28s | Loach Dive | ♥ 1 | I enjoyed it, as I said when it was being streamed while you were in the channel the other day even though it's really a very different game there's enough similarities that it hits my ekko 2 nostalgia hard, and for me that's a good thing as I played the hell out of that game. |
| May 1 01:59:29 | 41m 55s | GLUB | ♥ 0 | It looks interesting, game doesn't seem to be able to pick up my microphone though and there's no feedback as to why :/ |
| May 1 02:14:04 | 14m 35s | Clean up! | ♥ 0 | download link said linux/windows/mac but only seems to have a windows exe in it, the zip missing the other executables or maybe it's just tagged wrong? |
| May 1 03:00:22 | 46m 18s | Jet Racing 4 | ♥ 0 | The racing mechanic is pretty solid, responsive controls and good handling, the music is good but kinda not fitting, felt more like I should be fighting things in a dungeon than driving. Weird lag about once every minute, but runs smooth in-between |
| May 1 04:16:41 | 1h 16m | Dark thoughts | ♥ 0 | linux version doesn't seem to work for me, it starts, the window shows up in my tray, but no window ever pops up or draws, no error messages when run from terminal either. |
| May 1 04:26:42 | 10m 01s | Deep Space Ducks | ♥ 1 | Took me a while to find out how to get ducks at first, I like it, kinda has that arcade feel like sinistar, but with ducks. I do wish you maintained momentum when you let go of the keys, the fighting would be a lot more fun if you could spin and fire at someone chasing you while keeping your speed running away, as slowing to turn basically guarantees you'll be hit. |
| May 1 04:33:59 | 7m 17s | Let's Go Deeper | ♥ 1 | decent arkanoid clone, I agree with some of the others here that that paddle hit sound is REALLY grating, the input seemed to lag just a little bit too when using mouse. |
| May 1 04:42:45 | 8m 46s | Microchip | ♥ 1 | Pretty simple game, didn't really see anything besides the one enemy, and went pretty slowly. I think it fits the theme ok, a good start but a little to unfinished to really be fun. |
| May 1 05:38:21 | 55m 36s | loading... | ♥ 1 | This game is amazing, I got up to the point where you get blinded, managed to regain control and come to a quick stop, but for some reason could never find the station again, I'm guessing the light in the middle of the hud is supposed to be an indicator you're facing the right direction but I tried basically every single one and couldn't find it, it felt at that point I was basically just relying on luck since I didn't have coordinates of where the station is at to reference. (though from where I was, and the way I was headed, I should have literally been right outside their front door as far as i could tell). I loved it and all I really could have used is a slightly less strict "hot/cold" indicator on the rotation in that last part. |
| May 1 05:44:01 | 5m 40s | To: DEMON LORD, From: MOM | ♥ 2 | Has some cool graphics, and love the mood, the basic gameplay being on rails and similar to those old handheld lane change racing games was interesting, was way too slow to be any sort of challenge though. Didn't particularly like the combat, no real feedback to tell if you're doing the correct thing or not, seemed like pure random chance, IMHO the game would have been better without it. |
