Apr 26 04:43:54 Deep Blue ♥ 1 Great visuals, as always. I am not sure how the target depth is set though. Is it increased after each successful dive? I wanted to go deeper (and deeper), but the diver always grabbed the bouy and wanted to return. What a coward :-) I wonder how you can create a game like this in 15 hours, but then again, based on your YT videos, you probably created all the models in like 30 minutes and had the rest for coding :-) Nice work!
Apr 27 09:15:18 28h 31m To The Core We Go! ♥ 3 Nice entry. But what are the torches good for? :-D
Apr 27 10:01:40 46m 22s Into The Depth ♥ 2 Great game, very similar to my own, which just proves it is a great concept :-D I like the look and feel on your game better, though. Good job!
Apr 27 10:46:53 45m 13s Monday ♥ 2 I got stuck at the parking lot and couldn't find a way to progress any further :-( The graphics are really nice though and I liked the concept. Well done! Btw my antivirus had some complaints about the exe file, it was quite a challenge to run the game :-) I don't know if it's something you can fix.
Apr 27 17:03:43 6h 16m Deep-fry Deeper ♥ 2 The graphics are top-notch and the idea is just hilarious, I had fun and that's what LD is about :-) Good job!
Apr 27 17:29:05 25m 22s Dungeon Painter ♥ 1 This is brutal :-) Great idea, probably one of the most innovative concepts I have seen. Great job.
Apr 27 17:54:31 25m 26s Descentris ♥ 1 To be honest, it didn't look like much at first. I really didn't expect a puzzle game from you. But I was pleasantly surprised how you managed to twist the tetris to perfection. It took me a while how to use bombs though, it made life so much easier after that discovery :-D
Apr 27 18:08:42 14m 11s Going Down in Fishstory ♥ 2 If this is not a full 5-star game, than nothing is. Graphics are just amazing. I also love the voice acting. Playing this game was a real fun.
Apr 28 08:12:52 14h 04m Slumber ♥ 1 As others already said, it's really hard to control the character and I had real troubles getting on a ladder. I think it's not possible to get on the ladder while you are in air, which I would expect from a "platformer". Or maybe I just timed it wrong... Otherwise I think this is an exceptional entry, with really nice graphics and concept. I can easily imagine this being released as a commercial game once the controls are more polished.
Apr 28 08:15:14 2m 22s Digging In ♥ 2 One of the best entries in this LD. Great graphics and real polished gameplay. Sometimes it's just hard to know where you will end after using Dash, but it adds to the fun :-)
Apr 29 10:18:14 26h 03m Insight ♥ 1 The mood of this game is great, the music fits perfectly to the slow pace of the game. What I didn't like was the unresponsive controls. I know it's probably by design, but it felt kinda weird as if I am not controlling the character at all. Also, I am missing some kind of feedback when the character dies. The game just resets to beginning, which is kind of confusing and first few times I thought it's a bug.
Apr 29 17:02:57 6h 44m DOWNHELL ♥ 1 I hate that I can not shoot and move at the same time :-) Other than that, the game is just perfect :-)
Apr 29 20:38:18 3h 35m Moot ♥ 2 I was confused at the end, because I didn't know whether I should click on something to continue or it's the end of the game, some epilogue text would be nice. Otherwise it's a great entry, I really love the art style.
Apr 30 07:44:20 11h 06m HELL deep is your love? ♥ 7 The graphics and music are top-notch, I really like this style. But I found the game to be a little difficult and sometimes confusing. I wasn't sure what kills me (e.g. flying heads just froze me but the spike would kill me instantly). Getting on a ladder while in the air was also a trouble for me. Overall, I think it's a great entry, but the learning curve is too steep.
Apr 30 07:52:14 7m 54s System.Override ♥ 1 I like the style, but the camera movement is terrible. I had a hard time navigating around. I think with a little more polishing and expanding the tutorial, this an be a great game.
Apr 30 08:10:52 18m 38s Deepest Sword ♥ 0 This is so far my favorite from this LD. It's just brilliant, even if a little frustrating :-)
Apr 30 14:09:57 5h 59m Drills and Gadgets ♥ 2 Really nice game. It took me a good while to learn that I am supposed to mine the minerals to buy poweraps and move left and right. After that, it was good fun. Some tutorial would be great. EDIT: I see the instructions are there, I just skipped it in the beginning 🤦
Apr 30 14:20:16 10m 19s Surrender the Core - A Roguelike ♥ 2 I sometimes died unexpectedly, like when walking over the grapple anchor on the floor. I liked the art and the music, it goes toghether well. Kinda got a "Firefly" vibe from it :-) Good job.
May 1 07:00:57 16h 40m Deep into the Woods ♥ 2 I think the enemies should remain staggered a little while after you stop pointing the light at them. I couldn't see any difference when changing the light intensity. I thought it's supposed to damage the enemies more when the light is focused. For me it was impossible to get the timing right on the third screen. But I like the concept and the art, you guys did a great job.
May 1 10:51:15 3h 50m Submarine Adventure ♥ 1 I really like the idea of underwater text adventure. But for me it kinda felt "empty". I didn't feel like I am playing a game. It could be easily fixed if you had all the actions (torpedo/laser/evade/go down) available for each encounter. That way you would have to remember, which creatures you have to attack and which you can just go around. That would make the bestiary real useful. Now you automatically know what you have to do on each screen. I think this one change alone would take the game to whole new level. Also, after reaching Hadopelagic zone, my submarine disappeared. I don't think that was intended, as the fish are perfectly visible, so it's not just dark :-) 2021-05-01 12_39_39-Submarine Adventure by BFLAT Interactive.png
May 1 19:42:46 8h 51m Rusty goes Deep ♥ 1 As it was already said, the concept is great, but the controls are a real weak point. I recommend you this video which focuses on this very topic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yorTG9at90g
May 5 07:09:27 83h 26m Expedition into the Aronnax Trench ♥ 2 Wow, nice entry. There's so much things to do in the submarine, I really enjoyed it. The only thing I don't like are fish swimming backwards :-)
May 7 19:17:11 60h 07m Dome Romantik ♥ 3 Wow! This is easily the best game of the Jam. At least from 30-ish games I have played so far. It is the only one I played to completion and enjoyed the hell out of it every second up to the outro. Graphics are just wonderful and the gameplay is simple yet engaging. Just brilliant. Great job.
May 7 23:30:42 4h 13m BLU ♥ 1 Hey, I had similar idea for my game, check it out if you want. Mine is more action-oriented though. Your's more polished. I like the graphics and the mechanism of revealing resources with the light. The controls were a little unresponsive though. I know this is probably by design, but I think it's too much. Overall, great work!
May 9 18:33:03 43h 02m Chum Hunt ♥ 0 The game lacks some kind of motivation to keep playing, it gets boring really fast. Nice work on the graphics though and the gameplay is also pretty smooth. Just had a few problems trying to mark billy when I found him, it always took several tries from different angles.
May 9 18:53:30 20m 27s Blackout ♥ 5 Excellent submission. The only thing that annoyed was the slow text when interacting with objects. Then sometimes when I was clicking to dismiss the text (or at least I thought it makes the text go faster), I accidentally clicked on the object again and had to go through the dialog one more time :-/. So frustrating. Otherwise, it's pretty epic what you achieved in 72 hours.
May 10 17:51:16 22h 57m The Good, the bad and the Eldritch ♥ 0 I wish you would have spent more time polishing the single player game instead of the MP capability. The camera is a real pain in the arse :-) Why is it blocking me from looking directly down or up? It's a solid base for a game though.
May 11 21:18:14 27h 26m MEGADRILL ♥ 1 The learning curve is pretty steep, a tutorial would certainly help. But the graphics and the concept are excellent. I really like the mix of drill and miner mode. I think this game has a lot of post-jam potential. Great work!
May 12 21:59:46 24h 41m Fish'n'Ship ♥ 3 This is one of the best games I played in this LD. It's super fun. I wish there was some kind of indication which module is effective against which fish (some icon above the fish? or better yet, making the station icon the same color as the fish?) because with a lot of action happening on the screen it's really hard to focus on remembering the color codes. As others already said, gold becomes obsolete when you have all the upgrades, so there should always be something to upgrade. Maybe you could upgrade everything indefinitely, but the next pgrade would always cost twice/thrice/... that much. For the attack modules, each upgrade could improve the effectivnes a little. That way, even worst players would eventually finish the game.
