| Apr 26 13:08:02 | memories.io - A Living Painting | ♥ 6 | Very deep. Existential, with a touch of introspection. I like games that make me feel smart, and I think that does that really well. It's also easy to pick up and play, if not immediately understand. There's a lot of depth to it (clever use of the theme, there!) on a meaning/intention level, and the minimalist art is both effective and satisfying, while cleverly letting you stay within the scope of a 48-hour gamejam. Really good job. | |
| Apr 26 13:11:52 | 3m 50s | Putaverunt | ♥ 3 | Clearly deeply personal, and a well-executed narrative trip with some spontaneous (and surprising) gameplay in - I wasn't ready to get crushed by a sad turtle, but there we are. Clear use of theme, looks very nice, excellent job. |
| Apr 26 13:17:11 | 5m 19s | Physics Breaking Boxes | ♥ 3 | You get bonus points for making a Sokoban game that *doesn't* leave me feeling like an idiot. I actually did it (I have a "you did it" screen as proof). I might print that end screen out and put it in a frame for the next block-pushing game I come across. In all seriousness, this is really neat - Clever idea, well executed, nice to look at. Looks a bit like the bottom of a swimming pool. Into which, obviously, you can go *deeper and deeper*. |
| Apr 26 14:29:09 | 1h 11m | Submarine Bean | ♥ 1 | Somehow, you've made a submarine (fish, obviously) adorable. Nice and simple, very pick-up-and-play friendly, great concept for a 48h timeframe and very well executed with that trademark level of Icoso polish. |
| Apr 26 14:35:29 | 6m 20s | Pond-zi Scheme | ♥ 5 | Very clever little theme interpretation. I'm glad you had the forethought to put the 'How To' in, because I, in my hubris, decided to go straight in for the 'play' at first. That didn't end well. After a couple of runs, I think I managed to get a handle on it. Had a steady stream of cash, although admittedly, I never got out of debt. But I think that's the point (I'm hoping it's the point). Well done! |
| Apr 26 14:44:28 | 8m 59s | Smooth Debug | ♥ 2 | *Supremely* frustrating, but in a good way. Very clever, and works on multiple levels. Incredible work for 48h. |
| Apr 26 14:48:10 | 3m 42s | Fish Slapping Simulator 2021 | ♥ 2 | I slapped some fish, and I don't regret it for a moment. Good job. |
| Apr 26 14:56:55 | 8m 45s | Endoparasitic | ♥ 1 | Sick, disgusting and grim. Which is why I loved it. Innovative movement mechanics, excellent concept, well executed (aside from a little jank in the menu/inventory side of things) and a compelling use of the theme. Side note: Assuming you did the sound effects, are you alright? |
| Apr 28 09:29:22 | 42h 32m | 50 Step Treasure Hunt | ♥ 2 | Absolute mind-bender of a game. Took me a few minutes to get 'into' what I was meant to be doing, but once it'd clicked, I was hooked. Very clever, nicely realised, excellent work for the short timeframe. |
| Apr 28 09:36:10 | 6m 48s | crypt fiasco | ♥ 3 | Super adorable, very smooth, great controls and a good use of the theme. Fun time! |
| Apr 28 09:40:28 | 4m 18s | Quick Scrap | ♥ 1 | Smooth to play, with easy to understand controls and a strong and clear gameplay loop. Very satisfying, as is tradition with your games, I think. Full of game 'juice' and just a solid, polished experience from beginning to end. |
| Apr 28 09:42:46 | 2m 18s | Bunny Bunny Dig Dig | ♥ 1 | A frankly *ludicrous* amount of polish for such a short timeframe. Really impressive, design loop is on point, very satisfying to play and a perfect use of the theme. Well done. |
| Apr 28 09:44:02 | 1m 16s | I'm So Deep | ♥ 2 | I don't think I've ever played a poetry simulator before. I can now say that I have, and I have to admit, I kinda want more of them. Really brilliant interpretation of the theme, great execution, very impressive. |
| Apr 28 09:47:05 | 3m 03s | Ziggurat | ♥ 2 | Incredible amount of polish for a weekend's worth of work. Really coherent and a good interpretation of the theme, with superb presentation. Very good, well done. |
| Apr 28 09:51:27 | 4m 22s | Nuclear blaze | ♥ 3 | Excellent production for a 48h jam. Looks incredible, with a strong amount of visual polish and that good *gamefeel* that's so elusive. Shame to not have any music, but I think you've done *enough*, tbh. |
| Apr 28 10:02:12 | 10m 45s | Mine The Beat | ♥ 3 | Had a *lot* of fun with that! The way the music progresses along with your performance, and the very *forgiving* way that your combo meter doesn't just immediately plummet made this an incredibly satisfying game to play. Excellent job. |
| Apr 28 10:06:28 | 4m 16s | Ludum Dare News Network | ♥ 2 | I guess technically I have to give you a 5/5 for audio, right? Because it's my own voice, and who wouldn't love that? This is genuinely genius, and as someone who also I guess put a news *theme* in their entry, I'm feeling pretty outclassed right now. Superb job, well done. |
| Apr 28 10:08:28 | 2m 00s | Deep into the vibe | ♥ 2 | Oh yeah, we vibin'. Really chill, like a modern retrowave remake of the special stages from Sonic 2. Really nice experience, very well done. |
| Apr 28 10:48:35 | 40m 07s | Afraid to Turn | ♥ 2 | Superbly atmospheric with a satisfying gameplay loop, and an incredible amount of polish in such a short space of time. Really enjoyable, great stuff. Well done |
| Apr 28 10:58:23 | 9m 48s | Shooting Digger | ♥ 2 | Simple and neat, with a scope that works well in the 48h timeframe. Enjoyed my time with it, good job! |
| Apr 29 07:38:45 | 20h 40m | Explory Story | ♥ 5 | Entertaining and immersive little game, really well scoped and executed. Excellent job, and a joy to play. Well done! |
