| Apr 20 02:51:09 | YOUR RAGING SPIRIT | ♥ 1 | That was a lot of fun! I did find it quite frustrating that the quick movement speed combined with the pretty small window for pushing back enemies meant that I was constantly running through them and missing my attacks. | |
| Apr 20 03:09:31 | 18m 22s | Lighthouse Keeper | ♥ 1 | I found what little content there was to be compelling, but I stopped after the first couple days were quite samey. |
| Apr 20 03:19:39 | 10m 08s | Coronary Flypass | ♥ 2 | That was a lot of fun, I found the drone controls to be a bit sluggish but I assume that was by design. Well done! |
| Apr 20 03:25:45 | 6m 06s | Robo Riot | ♥ 1 | While a lot of fun, I did find chasing after all the enemies in the big arena to be quite annoying. The music and graphics were great too. |
| Apr 20 03:31:12 | 5m 27s | Curie | ♥ 0 | It's hard to explain, but something about it just feels right. Movement and shooting are really smooth and a pleasure to play with. I did find it to be quite easy, and only died in the end because I wanted to see what happened if I let the radiation meter fill up completely. |
| Apr 20 03:36:13 | 5m 01s | Power Surge | ♥ 1 | Unforunately the web player kept glitching out for me so I wasn't able to play it properly. |
| Apr 20 03:43:17 | 7m 04s | AetherPath | ♥ 2 | I was able to get the game to run, but unfortunately I ran into a number of other issues. It was quite annoying that at lower resolutions the build menu covered up the resource count for Earth. I also couldn't seem to select my new ships after building them. It looks and sounds interesting, but it's difficult to recommend when I couldn't really sink my teeth into it because of the issues. |
| Apr 20 03:52:17 | 9m 00s | WALL-E get the water! | ♥ 1 | The game has great music, but unfortunately I wasn't able to give the audio the rating it deserved because of the really high squeak that played every reset. |
| Apr 20 03:57:31 | 5m 14s | Cool Plants / Chill Beats | ♥ 1 | Great little experience, very zen. It was fun to discover that I could interact with some of the items, like turning the light on and off and strumming the guitar. |
| Apr 20 04:06:26 | 8m 55s | Lone Cabin | ♥ 2 | First off, the art style is fantastic. On the gameplay side, I felt that it could have been a bit more forgiving at the start. I had to die a couple times before I figured out the purposes of every location. |
| Apr 20 04:12:06 | 5m 40s | Planet Parasites | ♥ 0 | Nice spin on a classic formula! I found spawning volcanoes in space a little weird, but it was quite fun, if a bit samey after a couple of waves. |
| Apr 20 04:25:48 | 13m 42s | Aero-Ball | ♥ 1 | Neat idea, but in practice it was really difficult to gauge the trajectory of the pinball. I also couldn't tell why I was finished levels. |
| Apr 20 04:34:35 | 8m 47s | King's Table | ♥ 1 | Firstly the game looks great. While it played well, it was a little annoying how quickly I ran out of money and how slowly I seemed to make it back. |
| Apr 20 04:45:13 | 10m 38s | Defend the Loot! | ♥ 1 | Like some other others have said, it's got a freat feel to it and it fun to play. At the beginning I did find myself unsure of my strategy and accidentally blocked myself in, so I was stuck waiting for the enemies to break through the walls. I also felt like the preparation phase took a little too long, I rarely had anything to do for the last ten to twenty seconds. |
| Apr 20 21:30:26 | 16h 45m | The Intern | ♥ 2 | I played for a couple of minutes but wasn't able to find the coffee machine for the second objective. It seems fun, but my experience was hampered a bit since I was playing on a QWERTY keyboard. I was able to move around freely by using a controller in one hand and my mouse in the other, but it was far from an ideal play experience. |
| Apr 20 22:57:12 | 1h 26m | Flower Protector | ♥ 2 | The art and music were really fantastic well done! The gameplay was also a lot more fun and challenging than I expected it to be based on the first part of the tutorial. One thing I did find weird was the option to scroll up to stop the rain from falling, I couldn't understand why I would do that instead of just dragging the cloud out of the way. |
| Apr 20 23:01:35 | 4m 23s | BUBBLE BOY | ♥ 1 | When the theme was first announced I was wondering if I'd see a Tamagotchi-inspired game! The visuals and sound are great, even if the gameplay is a bit simplistic. |
| Apr 20 23:07:39 | 6m 04s | Bankruptcy Countdown | ♥ 1 | Cute little game! I did run into some difficulty when I couldn't see which direction the forklift was pointing behind some of the racks, and it was also difficult to tell where I was setting the packages down for the loading bays in the back. |
| Apr 21 02:21:51 | 3h 14m | Your Plant | ♥ 1 | This was a very simple but still compelling spin on the idea! |
| Apr 21 02:32:35 | 10m 44s | SUSpicious Hospital | ♥ 0 | I'm a little confused to be perfectly honest. I couldn't figure out where to bring some of the patients and I wasn't able to treat them, but I still got a popup telling me I won at the end. |
| Apr 21 02:37:39 | 5m 04s | Leap Of Faith | ♥ 2 | Lots of fun to be had, this could definitely make a successful mobile or flash game if fleshed out a bit. |
| Apr 21 02:45:12 | 7m 33s | What the Shell | ♥ 2 | Lot of fun to be had here, great take on a tower defence game! This was probably the game that I played for the longest of everything I've tried so far. Good job! |
| Apr 21 23:46:30 | 21h 01m | Doomsday Feelings | ♥ 0 | Wow, this is a real step up and definitely the most impressive game I have played so far! I did find the rest period a little strange though, there didn't seem to be much value in using the time to restore health or energy when it always starts at 100% when you die. |
| Apr 21 23:53:11 | 6m 41s | Etiolation | ♥ 3 | Etiolation has been a real highlight of all the games I've played so far! I was really impressed by how much variety there was in the level designs, especially given the time constraints |
| Apr 22 00:00:54 | 7m 43s | Flame Keeper | ♥ 1 | Neat little game! It wasn't immediately obvious to me that I had to build the fire up to get past the first gate, I died a couple times trying to interact with it. |
| Apr 22 00:07:51 | 6m 57s | Turtle Team | ♥ 0 | Like most of the other comments have said, I was intrigued to start but was a little disappointed when I realized there wasn't much going on. I couldn't tell what the shark was actually doing when it attacked me. |
| Apr 22 00:14:16 | 6m 25s | Love Verne | ♥ 1 | Fantastic visuals, that goes without saying, and a neat subversion of expectations with the plant and the human. I did find the gameplay a bit confusing as nothing seemed to happen after Verne's first breakdown. |
| Apr 22 00:22:49 | 8m 33s | Seven Nights in Siberia | ♥ 3 | Great little game with really fantastic atmosphere! I was a little confused by the thing that has the E key prompt be the fire, the popup it opened just said "Press E to exit" |
| Apr 22 00:27:03 | 4m 14s | Keepin' Alive! | ♥ 1 | It's a great take on the theme, but I do wish that it had a little more to it. Even a WPM counter or a tally of how many times DISCO had been typed so far would go a long way. |
| Apr 22 00:36:46 | 9m 43s | Can Adequately Generate Charge, C.A.G.E. for short! | ♥ 1 | Great idea that fits the theme really well! I did find the flappy mode kind of frustrating, it didn't seem like the movement was precise enough to get in some of the smaller gaps. |
| Apr 22 00:45:24 | 8m 38s | Tamagotchu | ♥ 1 | Really cute and creative, I love the hand drawn style. I did find myself trying to click on the big arrow by the exit sign towards the end and couldn't figure out why it wasn't working. |
| Apr 22 22:12:43 | 21h 27m | Dozy Dungeon | ♥ 1 | Fun game, and much harder than I expected it to be. I kept getting lost and couldn't figure out where I was missing monsters. |
| Apr 22 22:19:14 | 6m 31s | Zealotry | ♥ 1 | That was a lot of fun! I did find it a little annoying how there was no way to get rid of the targeting circle without clicking on something in it. |
| Apr 22 22:59:08 | 39m 54s | Please Stay on the Line | ♥ 1 | Like everyone else, I have to complement how well the lighting effects were used to create the atmosphere of the game. I did find the font on the phone very annoying to read, which made me ignore it most of the time. |
| Apr 22 23:04:16 | 5m 08s | Pump It ! | ♥ 2 | Short and sweet, that was great. It was a really interesting idea for a puzzle game and executed quite well. It's the first game I've played so far that I wanted more of. Well done! |
| Apr 22 23:11:12 | 6m 56s | Stoke It ! - V1.3 | ♥ 2 | Like some people have pointed out, the info boxes at the start are a bit of an information overload, it was hard to put all of the information in to practice without restarting several times. I also had troubly with the AZERTY designed controls, so I ended up using a controller in one hand and the mouse in the other. Once I got over those hurdles I had a great time. |
| Apr 22 23:24:54 | 13m 42s | Keep the Party Alive! | ♥ 3 | Nice and well executed take on the idea! I did find the web version pretty much unplayable though, I had to download it to play properly. |
| May 6 00:36:58 | 313h 12m | FLOWER | ♥ 1 | As everyone else has said, the art, music, and atmosphere are absolutely fantastic and the best that I have seen in this jam so far. From a gameplay perspective, it was a little strange how the robot would continue to move for full seconds after I released the input. Despite that, it was still a very memorable experience. As someone else who also went with a Wall-E inspired game, its really interesting to see other people's spins on it. |
