| Aug 14 20:05:29 | Deadly Delivery | ♥ 0 | I love the graphics! :D One thing I didn't understand at first was why I couldn't take one crate, but it was not in the red zone :). Also I would have liked some arrow keys controls, I am not really a fan of WASD myself. | |
| Aug 14 20:56:20 | 50m 51s | Space Slugs from Planet X | ♥ 0 | Graphics and Audio are, IMO, perfect 5 stars! :D I really like them! |
| Aug 14 21:11:41 | 15m 21s | Pole Volt | ♥ 1 | I love it! Really cool concept. I have to say, however, that it took me a while to realize that you have to flip in the air in order to get on the matress. So what I was doing was rotating, not flipping, and trying to get the pole into a vertical position. It is likely that I did not understand because I am not a native English speaker :). Anyways, a really nice game! |
| Aug 15 00:55:27 | 3h 43m | Pocket Pets | ♥ 1 | What a cute game! I really like it :). I do think, however, that the tutorial is too long for such a simple game. Maybe you could make it shorter? |
| Aug 15 01:03:42 | 8m 15s | Bouncy - A Bouncing Ball Game | ♥ 2 | The gameplay is so cool! It is really fun :D. One (really really small) thing that I do not understand Is why the start button is the last button, and not the exit button, as is in pretty much every other game (told you it's a really small thing :) )? |
| Aug 15 01:16:29 | 12m 47s | After Halt Mini | ♥ 1 | I really enjoyed playing this game. I like the mix with a MMORPG (well, that's how I see it, based on the life points, types of attacks and bonuses you can get) :). |
| Aug 15 01:22:58 | 6m 29s | Bandwidth:Zero | ♥ 1 | What a cool concept :D. And the graphics are really nice. I saw mentioned here music, but I didn't hear any when I played it... Maybe the game has a problem? |
| Aug 15 01:25:54 | 2m 56s | Commander, We Have a Problem! | ♥ 1 | A pretty popular complaint from what I've seen: I don't really understand how to play the game :(. However, the music is pretty sweet :). |
| Aug 15 06:57:51 | 5h 31m | SpaceIO | ♥ 0 | I would really love to try it, but I do not own a Mac, and, even if I did, to be fair, I wouldn't probably test it, because it's too much of a hassle just to test a game. Maybe for future jams consider making a Windows build, or, better, a HTML build :). |
| Aug 15 22:41:26 | 15h 43m | Space Cleaner | ♥ 1 | Beautiful game! It really suits the theme! The music, I feel, is very fitted for this game. I have a very, very small thing that I would have liked in the game, and that it some audio feedback when you pick up and drop the trash cubes. Otherwise, a very cool game :). |
| Aug 15 23:18:34 | 37m 08s | Edge of Abyss | ♥ 0 | Cool game, mate! One really minor thing and pretty easy to fix was the color of the text. Make sure that you set a color that is easily readable. I would have chosen, for example, instead of the black text a brighter color. |
| Aug 15 23:29:49 | 11m 15s | Pet Shelter Sim | ♥ 1 | Very cute game! I found two small bugs (?) that you may fix pretty easy. I saw that sometimes the the pixel font is not used, but a normal font. Also, the four sliders don't have the same width. And about the gameplay, I thought that when it displayed the share button the game ended, so I... closed the window. Maybe you should to something about it? Also, I didn't click at first (when I closed the game) on the share button to see what it does because I thought it would share it to Twitter. I like the graphics and their pixelly look, but it took me a while to read what's written on the "start" button. :) |
| Aug 15 23:48:00 | 18m 11s | Space Farts | ♥ 1 | Funny game idea! I love the graphics and the audio, you really did a great job with them. Now a few things about the gameplay. The tutorial maybe shouldn't show every time you play the game. I kinda forgot at first what object gived me how much (soda, brokoli, yogurt). I don't know if this would actually look nice, but you could have drawn a circle around each object, with a color of a different intensity (darker meaning less fart bars and lighter meaning more fart bars). Again, this may or may not look nice in the actual game. And that's pretty much it. I found a small small bug, that you could fix easily: the music is not looping. |
| Aug 15 23:56:50 | 8m 50s | Ultimate Alien Rumble | ♥ 1 | Very cool game! This is the first time I see such a mechanic (you have to stay on the screen), and I really like. Also, the music, although simple, is nice. I actually have no complaint about your game, maybe only the fact that the camera is not very smooth, which isn't such a big deal at all :). |
| Aug 16 00:04:31 | 7m 41s | 3x3 a tale about friendship | ♥ 1 | Lovely game! I LOVE the music! The text seems pretty low effort, but I guess you didn't have enough time? However, the tutorial is greatly appreciated :). |
| Aug 16 00:14:02 | 9m 31s | Stock Up! | ♥ 1 | Great first game! I like the fact that you can easily understand it :) |
| Aug 16 00:18:37 | 4m 35s | War For Space | ♥ 1 | The game seems fun, and I really like the music, but I can't really play it because the UI has some problems. Look at these images and you should see what the problem is. Hopefully you will fix it soon :). chrome_2018-08-16_03-16-37.png chrome_2018-08-16_03-17-02.png |
| Aug 16 00:23:05 | 4m 28s | Zombie Royale | ♥ 1 | Very nice and polished game! I like the fact that it automatically shoots, because that's what you would do anyways if you would have to shoot manually, just spamming the click button. Also, the graphics style looks great and I feel it would be a great suit for a mobile game. |
| Aug 16 00:30:40 | 7m 35s | Constellations | ♥ 1 | I like the music, simple but fits the game. However, I don't really understand the gameplay. A tutorial would be really helpful. So what I did so far was that I connected more stars, about 3. At first I was just clicking on them, and since I was receiving some audio feedback (the sounds you hear when you tap on a star) I thought I was doing something right. Then I saw that I can drag on stars, but I did not understand why I can connect some stars whilst I can't connect others. :) |
| Aug 16 00:41:19 | 10m 39s | Digital Abyss | ♥ 1 | The graphics looks great in my opinion! :) One thing you could try for your game is to change the voice sound to a different one, because I find the current one a bit annoying (it may be only me, however). Also, it would be a lot better if the tutorial (or the discussion between the two) wouldn't play every time you retry :D. |
| Aug 16 00:53:56 | 12m 37s | Weltraum | ♥ 2 | Ok, so I LOVE THIS GAME. That's all there is to it. |
| Aug 16 12:59:02 | 12h 05m | GoIn- Behave or GET LOST! | ♥ 0 | The graphics looks really nice, but is the mouse supposed to be hard to control? I mean the mouse movement is not linear. Here is what I am talking about: https://imgur.com/a/ijjmZWD |
| Aug 16 16:02:05 | 3h 03m | Anstorm | ♥ 3 | Wow, seriously now, this game looks GREAT! Is this also your first game jam? (from what I've seen on your profile). Anyways, the game is cool! Good job. |
| Aug 16 18:37:15 | 2h 35m | Space Smash | ♥ 1 | Very satisfying to play! I really enjoyed how smooth everything was. Great job! :) |
| Aug 16 19:20:39 | 43m 24s | Running Out Of Space | ♥ 1 | I initially downloaded something called Disk-O from the link you gave us. Maybe consider putting the game elsewhere? For example on itch.io :) |
| Aug 16 20:32:47 | 1h 12m | Ball Hit | ♥ 2 | Can you share a link so we can play it? |
| Aug 16 20:34:37 | 1m 50s | Runneth Over | ♥ 0 | I, too, get a black screen when I launch the game. Try fixing it, please! :) |
| Aug 16 23:18:15 | 2h 43m | Heart Breaker | ♥ 1 | Lovely game. I really like the audio part of it! One small bug (or not?) is that if you walk to the edge of the screen, even though you didn't kill all the monsters, you still win the level. So what I did was to spam the click while pointing to one side, so one level took like 5 seconds :)). Also, I have to agree that it is not really as clear that you have to get to the edge of the screen to go to the next level. I initially thought there was a bug. Also, you do not use WASD to move, you move by shooting, so maybe the way to go to the next level shouldn't be movement, since it is not really expected. Anyways, great entry, good job to you all! :) |
| Aug 16 23:26:37 | 8m 22s | Field of Bodies | ♥ 1 | Cool game there, mate! One thing I did not really enjoy in particular was the movement. As others said, it is pretty hard to go in the right direction the way you handle movement, because pointing your gun changes the direction you will move. It would have been a bit clearer if you could only use W-A, I think (or just make the input independent from the pointing). Anyways, it was a pretty nice game, good job! |
| Aug 16 23:34:00 | 7m 23s | TCGD AntiVirus '98 | ♥ 1 | Nice game with great music! One small thing that took me a bit to realize was where to go after I shot everything in the first room. I first tried to go through the 2 rocks because I thought they looked like they'd do something, and only after that I found that I have to go to the side. The reason why I didn't go to the side in the first place was because the floor was different, so maybe making the floor in the connectors the same as the floor in the rooms would make it a bit more clearer. Anyways, this is just a small thing. Great job y'all for making this game! :D |
| Aug 16 23:41:26 | 7m 26s | Nooooo! | ♥ 1 | Interesting concept there, mate! :) At first I didn't really understand what the energy capsule did (sorry, I do not really read descriptions :) ). At fist I thought it did nothing. When I took it I heard nothing and saw nothing change (well, something changed: the text in the top left, but I did not see it). So a nice thing would have been some feedback (the same is for when you cut into the lines, even though I see the line disappeared, some audio feedback can't do any bad), such as a sound or (/and) the text scaling up and down, and changing to a color and back. Anyways, this is a pretty small thing to an otherwise good game. Great job! |
| Aug 16 23:47:28 | 6m 02s | Adventures of Captain Cleaner | ♥ 3 | Neat idea! One thing I really like is the polish. I really like the particles, lights, blurred background. However, I am not sure if the tiles fit this style (for example they have thick borders while the other textures do not). Other than that I do not have really any more complaints, it's a really nice polished game, with a cool idea! Great job, you all! :) |
| Aug 16 23:50:19 | 2m 51s | Sticks and Stones | ♥ 1 | What a cool entry. It really made me feel something. I would really like to give you some feedback, but the game is so nice and polished. Great job, mate :) |
| Aug 17 00:02:42 | 12m 23s | Balls Deep In Lava | ♥ 2 | Cool entry, y'all! I enjoy the style of the game, and it not being very serious (for example the shooting sound, or the background music are pretty happy). One really small thing I have is that it was not really obvious that the lava (couldn't really tell it was lava when I played, to be fair, some particles would help) which I thought was a explosion that didn't go away, would take you damage. Nor was it really clear that using your sword wouldn't make them explode. I think I would have understand not to shoot them if they had like a gas sign on them, and didn't have the fuse (which would sadly change their effect, because you are not panicking anymore). But then the lava would have nowhere to come from (if you want it to make some sense, that is). Anyways, I really enjoyed this game, great job! :D |
| Aug 17 00:09:59 | 7m 17s | Ramboom | ♥ 1 | Cool looking game y'all have there! It is pretty difficult, I have to say. I could hardly destroy any bomb at all, to be fair, because too many were coming at once. Also, I couldn't really figure out a strategy for this game, maybe because I didn't really have the time as I was already attacked by a ton of bombs when the game started. Some progression would have been nice (I think). Anyways, this is a really cool entry, despite my struggle with the bombs :). |
| Aug 20 19:13:03 | 91h 03m | Windoge 96 | ♥ 2 | Nice little game, good job for finishing it! :) Surprisingly, it took me a while to understand how to play it. In the minigame where I have to delete folders, I somehow couldn't move the folders to the recycle bin, I couldn't get it to the lower half of the screen. Second time I tried it, it worked :). I guess that was a bug. Also, I am not really a fun of the clicking sound when you click anywhere. It made me think that I did a right thing, even if I clicked somewhere random on the screen. So you could make it so the sound plays only when you click on a button, or something. Also, I don't really understand why the description of the game is in both Spanish and English. I am neither a native English speaker, but I don't think it would make that much sense to have two versions of the description, especially considering that the most people trying it are English speakers (except friends/family that don't speak English, which you could teach how to play). It almost made me click away from your game, so maybe consider this in the future :). By the way, in the game over screen, pressing any key does nothing, so you could remove that text / fix this bug (if it is). Anyways, good job y'all for this game :D. |
| Aug 20 19:24:17 | 11m 14s | Battle Billiard Galactic Edition | ♥ 1 | Nice game, @anudin! It was, seriously, pretty fun. It actually made me replay it, which, to be fair, doesn't really happen to me. The tutorial, for me, wasn't really necessary because the game is easy to understand. One thing that I had a problem with was the boost. When I double clicked, nothing happened. But I am also playing in Chrome, so this may be the problem. By the way, double clicking to boost in a game that uses WASD + Space doesn't really make sense to me because the control for boost could have been easily on the keyboard, since you don't have to aim, or anything. Anyways, a really fun game with very nice music (the graphics didn't really impress, but got the job done)! :) |
| Aug 20 19:41:02 | 16m 45s | Der Raum | ♥ 1 | Looks interesting! I actually really like the music. But, sadly, that's all I can tell about your game, because I couldn't play it... I do not own any dual-stick controllers (or any controllers, actually), so I couldn't play it. I saw that you said that the arrow keys work just fine, and they may, but I can't really pass the start menu. I tried everything, clicking, pressing every key (maybe I just missed the right one?) but nothing. I think this is because it says to "PRESS START" which I guess is a button on controllers, but I don't have it on my keyboard. In your future games, I'd say, you really must add keyboard support if you want your game to be played by more people, and make using the controller an option, if it's the case. By the way, I think your description is kinda too long. Even if I had a controller I don't think that I would have read it all, sadly. Even the description page on my game, which is a lot shorter, wasn't read by everyone (I gave my game to Ludum Dare streamers to try, and not all of them read it). Anyways, your game looks really interesting! :) What a shame I can't try it! :( |
| Aug 20 19:49:47 | 8m 45s | Day Three | ♥ 1 | Lovely game, y'all! :) One small thing I have to say is that the font used was a bit hard to read, but I guess that's the style of the game (pixelated)? :) Otherways, I really enjoyed it, especially the graphics and the music . |
| Aug 20 20:06:02 | 16m 15s | cargOS | ♥ 0 | Pretty fun game, @tigerj, good job! :) It took a bit to understand what I have to do (I was moving shipments around, trying to stack the ones with the same color, but not moving them to the right place), but I got it in the end. I have, however, a pretty small complaint about the controls. They are a bit fast (when I wanted to move to one tile, I was moving to the one below, and so on), and a bit cluttered - I have pretty big hands, and Arrow keys + right CTRL is totally not going to work for me, at least if I want to be fast. By the way, I am playing on a laptop where the arrow keys are right next to the right CTRL, so this may be the issue :). Also, another small problem I had was that after dropping the shipment in the right spot, it took a while to change its color and I couldn't see it if the cursor was right above it. However, this may be by design :). Anyways, I had fun playing your game, and I especially liked the graphics! :) |
| Aug 20 20:10:04 | 4m 02s | PlaceIt | ♥ 1 | Never played a game like yours before :). Good job for creating something new! Even though it is a very simple to understand game, I initially went and clicked on the child, instead of finding an empty seat, but after that I figured it out. One thing that I did not particularly like was that the brightness was pretty dim, and it made the game pretty hard, but I guess that's how you wanted it to be :). |
| Aug 20 20:19:59 | 9m 55s | Mindlapse | ♥ 2 | It was actually a really fun game. Good job, you all! :) The music was pleasant and the graphics were nice. I did not really like the throwing sound, it seemed a bit loud and maybe out of place. Also, I saw that there were some clipping issues with the tiles (if you moved in some places, you could see very small but noticeable gaps between the tiles). I don't have any complaint other than these :). Simple and innovative game (did not see any game like yours so far). |
| Aug 20 20:26:45 | 6m 46s | Exodus Terminus | ♥ 1 | Quite innovative game, did not see any like yours so far, good job! :) I actually really liked the music, and the graphics were pretty good too, but the gameplay was not really for me since I like more action games. However, you got me in the mood of the game :). |
| Aug 21 14:25:51 | 17h 59m | Consensual Love in a Dungeon (NSFW) | ♥ 2 | Pretty interesting game. I liked the graphics, and the sounds were okay. I sometimes did not really know who was talking (the text on the bottom). And I am pretty sure I got a crash, or I somehow managed to exit the game. It was in the moment when I had to lay down because I was tired (? if I recall correctly) :). Also, the game is not exactly my style, to be fair, but I can see someone else playing it :). I mean I got pretty far in the game I think, I did not quit after 1 minute. Anyways, good job, y'all! :) |
| Aug 21 14:37:00 | 11m 09s | 1066; The Viking Conquest of England | ♥ 1 | This was a pretty interesting game. While in the first levels I did nothing (bought nothing, fought no one myself), I still won, but in the latter ones I had to get a better army. Also, I think I encountered a bug where the sounds just stopped working (I think it was like level 4 or 5). I liked the AI, by the way. It must have taken some time to do it (I think, I never really tried to do anything like what you did). The graphics could have been better, to say the least. Good job, y'all! :) |
| Aug 21 14:50:34 | 13m 34s | pushes you | ♥ 1 | Good job for your entry, @dimesto52! :) I have to say that for a Compo game you did pretty well. It's just pretty sad that there is no music / sounds, but I don't know how to make them, so I don't blame you :). |
| Aug 21 14:57:59 | 7m 25s | Ant Factory | ♥ 0 | Pretty interesting game, good job you all! :) I must say that it took me a pretty long time to figure out that I have to put paths in order for the ants to get to the buildings, so it was not really as clear as I'd hoped :) |
| Aug 21 15:11:08 | 13m 09s | Destination: Earth | ♥ 1 | Cool game, y'all, I actually managed to complete the mission :). I think that the game could be a little bit harder (maybe the asteroids could take more health) since I managed to finish it in the first try. Other than this, it was actually a pretty fun game. Good job! :) |
