| Apr 23 02:19:55 | Drive or Die | ♥ 1 | A bit of feedback: - The car drifts a bit too much, it feels more like a block of ice, haha - Enemies give no indication of where they are coming from and spawn it at weird intervals, making the 1st person pretty annoying. They should come from around buildings (walking before shooting) or have sounds/particle effects when spawning to help guide the player to where they are - The Minimap is great 👍 - The road should be raised just a hair above the grass to remove the black clipping lines where the objects overlap | |
| Apr 23 02:24:35 | 4m 40s | Garden o' Love | ♥ 0 | Your itch.io page isn't working, you may not have Published it yet, if it's in draft mode nobody else can view it |
| Apr 23 02:35:21 | 10m 46s | Room Runner Extreme Deluxe! | ♥ 0 | The platforming is harder than the puzzles XD |
| Apr 23 02:50:48 | 15m 27s | Slime Garden | ♥ 0 | I played this for awhile just out of curiosity of what happens, but gave up after because I found the game too repetitive. (Also because a bunch of slimes stacked up on each other and the attack sound they made with their powers combined was painful to the ears!) |
| Apr 23 02:58:16 | 7m 28s | Dungeon Drifter | ♥ 1 | I really liked the look and feel of this one, only wish that there were some sound effects for shooting and killing enemies! |
| Apr 23 04:25:58 | 1h 27m | Deck Cutters: Hearth of the Cards | ♥ 1 | I loved the concept and the execution of this idea, the music was really good too! One suggestion would be to have cards that are applied to yourself either be a different color or just use them up automatically. I can't even count the number of times I threw a card across the map only to realize, "right, now I have to go pick that up". lol |
| Apr 23 04:52:51 | 26m 53s | Silence of the Chickens | ♥ 2 | Hey, your itch.io link is down, I had the same issue and I had to switch it from 'draft' to 'pulished' |
| Apr 23 05:03:42 | 10m 51s | Stoical Domination | ♥ 2 | Took me a bit to find the controls, but the game is rather straightforward and easy to play once you know what to do. Not bad 👍 |
| Apr 23 16:34:42 | 11h 31m | Legion Academy (LD41) | ♥ 1 | I found myself with the same problem where attacks would always miss due to the enemies moving, I think an easy fix would be a larger projectile. The pen that you shoot can really thread the needle between those sheets of paper! Otherwise not a bad concept 👍 |
| Apr 23 17:07:15 | 32m 33s | Idle Shooter | ♥ 0 | Having piles upon piles on money explode everywhere is IMMENSELY satisfying, well done! This was really fun to play, all it needs is some old western type background music! |
| Apr 23 17:21:53 | 14m 38s | Spaceloop | ♥ 0 | I don't understand how this is part 'Roguelike' if the map isn't procedurally generated... The only part that's somewhat Roguelike is the perma-death, but lots of other games have that and don't fit the genre. |
| Apr 23 18:06:50 | 44m 57s | Deadication | ♥ 0 | The humans kept starving to death before my first plants grew, not sure if I missed something there. Really like the humor of this one though! |
| Apr 23 18:23:45 | 16m 55s | Ragerint | ♥ 1 | I got 4 consecutive wins, pro skillz 😎. Actually, I just got lucky with the level generation, lol. |
| Apr 23 18:34:17 | 10m 32s | Meteor Horror | ♥ 1 | I found a sweet-spot right under the starting platform to block all incoming meteors Screenshot.png That is... until the giant meteor shows up. That thing should NOT be heat seeking, lol. I died almost every time it came on screen |
| Apr 23 18:59:53 | 25m 36s | The Matter at Hand | ♥ 1 | This definitely feels like a finished (if not short) game I could find published on a game site somewhere. Very clean and polished other than the lack of sound effects. Well done! 👍 |
| Apr 23 19:19:22 | 19m 29s | Tower Defense Dating Simulator | ♥ 0 | I like the concept of this one a lot, and the 3D models look pretty decent! It would be nice if there was some sort of visual indication of which gifts the towers like, and the character moved pretty slow, but other than that I had fun :) |
| Apr 24 00:47:11 | 5h 27m | Reverse | ♥ 4 | As many have already noted, the art style is on point! The background music is pretty good too, although the sound effects definitely leave something to be desired. My biggest criticism would have to be the controls, which had me switching from mouse in the UI, to keyboard for the game, and then to controller when I couldn't figure out that the double arrow symbol meant 'Tab'. But pausing using a controller doesn't work, and once I pressed escape on the keyboard I had to use the mouse to click "Back to Menu". All in all though, not a bad start! |
| Apr 24 01:30:48 | 43m 37s | Highway Trouble | ♥ 1 | Same problem here as Wesruv and Artem, no .exe file for Windows |
| Apr 24 03:57:17 | 2h 26m | Catching Crazy | ♥ 3 | I like the mechanics of the game quite a bit, but found it incredibly difficult to find pieces of evidence. The most pieces I had was 3, and that was after about a dozen attempts without finding anything at all (or finding something and not having time to collect it). Maybe if you expanded the viewable area while digging just a little |
| Apr 24 04:06:33 | 9m 16s | Maze Ship | ♥ 0 | I agree with BitJester, I just quit at level 3. The game got pretty dull, with just a lot of aimless wandering around and backtracking |
| Apr 24 04:18:45 | 12m 12s | Beat Em Shmup | ♥ 1 | When I realized that you were literally punching enemies and bullets in a shmup game I was 100% on board, the gameplay is admittedly a bit weak but I'll vouch for you on Innovation and Humor! |
| Apr 24 05:08:50 | 50m 05s | The Mad Bulleteer | ♥ 0 | This right here is proof that games don't need good graphics, I had a lot of fun playing it! Nice work 👍 |
| Apr 24 05:25:37 | 16m 47s | Gender Circles | ♥ 2 | I'm amazed at how simple this game is, and yet it's really fun to play! I put so much time into 3D modeling assets for my game, and then you just have a couple of sprites which could be drawn in Photoshop (or even paint!) in a few minutes tops, and you made something really entertaining out of it, so great work 👍 |
| Apr 24 17:00:53 | 11h 35m | Cardcade | ♥ 3 | As a big fan of dungeon crawlers and rouge-like games, I have a bit of a soft spot for games like this. That said, VERY well done! For me, the customized deck-building at the beginning is an amazing feature as you can essentially play the game however you want and form new strategies as you play. I'm impressed with how much content you managed to squeeze in and how functionally everything works together in such a short amount of time! Mad props to your team 👍 |
| Apr 24 17:18:21 | 17m 28s | Stop 'n Go Racing | ♥ 0 | Ditto on what CrispyPear said |
| Apr 24 17:52:27 | 34m 06s | Crafty | ♥ 0 | I've seen a couple variations of this game in the past, and this felt like more of the same exact thing... but I liked the added touch of an overall story and a way to win the game without finding every single combination :) |
| Apr 24 20:46:35 | 2h 54m | Basketball Wars | ♥ 1 | Not a bad little game! I'm not sure what you used to make the 3D Models but if you want to improve the quality in the future a quick improvement would be to increase your polygon count on round objects (like the basketball) and add bevels to hard edges like on the gun. Graphics aside though, your game is fun, so good work 👍 |
| Apr 25 18:20:07 | 21h 33m | Crowdsurf | ♥ 1 | This is an excellent idea for a game! However, I'm terrible at improvising and failed horribly, haha |
| Apr 25 19:37:01 | 1h 16m | Toodee and Topdee | ♥ 1 | I'm jealous that I didn't think of this, I love this game! Easily one of my favorite entries thus far 😄👍 |
| Apr 26 00:58:29 | 5h 21m | Gun Appetit! | ♥ 0 | Fun game, but stopping to drag all of the ingredients in order was pretty annoying, especially because the zombies randomly spawn in from the sides of the map so it's almost never safe to stop. I think a more elegant way of cooking might be to just have a list of recipes that you can reference (maybe even as a part of the player hud), and then the player has to walk to each of the ingredients required and interact with each food station, only pausing briefly at each one. On a positive note though, the game has beautiful art and the fluidity of the movement/controls is excellent, so nice job overall! |
| Apr 26 23:49:36 | 22h 51m | Fail Fast Co. | ♥ 2 | Maybe it's partially because I haven't really played many management games, but I found this game to be VERY difficult to understand. Other than a wall of text explaining the rules, you are just kinda thrown into things with little to no indication of what to do. I think that having 5 different resources to manage, 4 different categories of cards with varying uses, *and* multiple building types with different functions is just too much complexity thrown at the player at once. Also, it's a bit confusing asking the player to "Fail Fast" while also calling the end screen a "Game Over". If all games end in a game over and I want to fail the fastest isn't the best strategy just to skip 5 actions and get fired immediately? Overall, I'd say your concept is good but for the quick play-ability of a typical LD game a lot of content would need to be cut/re-worked. |
| Apr 27 00:26:48 | 37m 12s | On The Fly | ♥ 1 | Absolutely beautiful game, it's hard to believe this was done in such a short amount of time! |
| Apr 27 17:26:10 | 16h 59m | Cardey (VR Only) | ♥ 0 | I finally got my VR setup and this is one of the first things I played! I like the game but it's much too difficult. I think it would make sense to teleport to the card's position when it lands so that you can move closer to the hole over time like in mini-golf. This is basically trying to get a hole-in-one every single time, lol. I averaged around 40 throws per hole until I got to level 6 where I threw over 100 and called it quits |
| Apr 27 18:00:49 | 34m 39s | Doesn't Add Up | ♥ 1 | Great job on this game, I had a lot of fun playing it! Here is a bit of feedback: - The shooting is nice and responsive, but it took me awhile to figure out how to reload, and I'm sill not sure what the multiplier does - The background music is good, but is a bit too peaceful considering the premise of the game - The sound effects for shooting the gun were totally out of place and weird, and a there should probably be a subtle "Successful Hit" sound effect to cue the player that they've hit the target - The animated 3D Models of the creatures were really well done (I'm guessing that's more your team's specialty) but the environment wasn't particularly interesting. Perhaps instead of making so many creature models, just make a couple good ones and focus your time in other areas of the project. Quality over quantity and all that. Overall, not bad at all! Nice work 👍 |
