Apr 23 01:29:33 The Fat Man and the Sea ♥ 1 Took me 2 tries to figure you what I was meant to be doing cuz I skim read the instructions, but after reading them properly I can say I really like the idea of fishing for the right ammo, the setting and art is pretty funny too. Not too difficult but gives you enough to manage so that you can't play on autopilot.
Apr 24 18:55:26 41h 25m Remote Bot ♥ 0 Pretty funny to watch, not so fun to play. I like the ideas but way too frustrating for me
Apr 24 19:03:17 7m 51s Your Turn To Jump ♥ 1 Might want to take some screenshots so people have an idea what they are downloading
Apr 24 19:15:35 12m 18s Speeddating ♥ 1 Still less stressful than dating IRL. Loved it, I was disappointed lack of sound effects though, could have made it seem even more chaotic
Apr 24 19:27:55 12m 20s Panic Farm! ♥ 0 It's pretty funny and I like the fast pace, took a lot of messing around to figure out what i was meant to do in the rat area though
Apr 24 19:40:42 12m 47s Rockin' Horse ♥ 1 I like the idea but even after reading the desc and playing a couple times I really still didn't understand the rhythm aspect or what button I was meant to be tapping, I tried tapping W mouse clicking and Space and didn't really notice any difference with any of them. My advice would be to make it more clear to the player how the game works and what the additional controls there are meant to be outside of WASD if there are any
Apr 24 19:46:32 5m 50s Misty Night ♥ 0 The artwork is great but I don't feel that the visuals really mixed with the game play all that well.
Apr 24 20:00:02 13m 30s Obstacle Avoidance ♥ 0 Yeah I always get this same feeling when i come home to a bunch of floating tic-tacs.. I like the idea but I think the game could do with being more difficult, it's a little too easy to run past everyone and complete the maze without actually ever using the conversation mechanic
Apr 24 20:13:19 13m 17s Learning with Mr. Bear ♥ 2 WE HAVE VERY SIMILAR NAMING CONVENTIONS LOL Graphics are really good and the setting is nice and spooky. A really good groundwork for what could eventually be a pretty memorable game with some time spit and polish
Apr 24 20:26:59 13m 40s Golf with Guns ♥ 2 It's exactly what it says on the tin and it's wonderful
Apr 24 20:33:36 6m 37s Check, Please! ♥ 1 Short and sweet, with some time and polish this could be really funny!
Apr 24 20:46:22 12m 46s Modern Bowlfare ♥ 0 When i saw the title I was really hoping we were gonna have to throw bowling balls into pins faces before they shot us or something but this was pretty cool too. I just REALLY wish that the big red oil drums exploded when a grenade went off next to them
Apr 25 16:50:11 20h 03m High Explosive Stealth ♥ 2 A really cool idea but could have been delivered better. I think for the a stealth artillery game the best way to play it would be standing next to the artillery cannon in first person with a screen in front of you that shows a birds eye view of the enemies without the cross hair, and have the cannon fire an actual projectile that arcs down into the enemies. Might be asking a lot from a Ludum Dare, but I really like the idea and that's just my advice on how I would approach it. You'll get em next time
Apr 25 16:56:15 6m 04s BASEBALL in HELL ♥ 1 5 stars for atmosphere, the only downside is it's really hard to tell what is actually going on in the game. If you wanted to take the project further I would recommend taking away some of the blackness and finding some theme fitting special effects that help the player understand what they are doing and where they are going
Apr 25 17:09:48 13m 33s Stealth Trucking ♥ 1 I think the idea is pretty good but the start is real slow, it feels like it takes a good 20 seconds of holding down w to get any speed going and when you do get to top speed you can kind of just hold w all the way to the end without getting caught. I think if you really want to capture the stealth aspect of the game you want to increase the acceleration by a lot so that you can zip between cover fast, and decrease the max speed so that you cant just gun it all the way through like i was
Apr 25 17:18:35 8m 47s DungeonSnake ♥ 0 Simple but good twist on snake, too bad about you not finding that bug until it was too late
Apr 25 17:25:16 6m 41s Dungeon of High School romance ♥ 1 Pretty funny, I only wish it was cheesier
Apr 25 17:32:08 6m 52s Snail and Salt ♥ 1 Didn't really understand it at first but after some button mashing kind of got a hang of it. A good foundation as far as puzzle games go
Apr 25 22:39:22 5h 07m GolfZ ♥ 2 Very satisfying when you get it in the hole, love the little jingle. Criticisms are that the hit boxes for the obstacles seem a bit over the top, felt like there was a lot of times that the ball would fly off in the middle of nowhere after hitting air. Would have been nice if we could zoom in and out to get a better view of where we are trying to get to
Apr 26 12:28:47 13h 49m The Heat Of Battle ♥ 1 I'm glad I found this, was really funny. Not a lot of actual "game-play" though. The only real interaction with the environment was some, at best, sketchy wall jumping mechanics, but that's OK given the style of game it didn't really need it
Apr 26 13:02:30 33m 43s Dodgeball Hell ♥ 1 I actually really liked this, managed to get to wave 5 before getting beaten to death. I think the only problem with the catch and throw mechanic is that you have to click on the specific ball you want, which is a lot more difficult than it is satisfying. A really good foundation and concept though. If you wanted to take this further, I would make it so that to catch a ball, you have to left click just before a ball hits you, and then it will automatically pick up the closest ball to you, then give you an indicator to show where you are aiming. If you did this I would also put a small window on how often you can pick up a new ball after throwing one to stop people just standing in the middle and spamming left click. One last thing, put a screenshot or 2 on this page, people are a lot more likely to download and play it that way
Apr 26 13:13:49 11m 19s Bomberess ♥ 1 Not exactly the most innovative project seen by man but it is nice simple and solid
Apr 26 14:15:47 1h 01m Music Make Me Shoot My Gun ♥ 0 Interesting but being human I can only look at one place on the screen at any one time. I tried getting past the first level and although I'm pretty sure on the third try I hit pretty much every single note I still didn't manage to kill the wave. Maybe I was just unlucky with the RNG?
Apr 26 14:23:25 7m 38s True Love Adventure ♥ 1 I think you got a bit of "dev knows syndrome" going on here as far as the map layout goes. Unless you properly explore it's really hard to figure out where you are meant to go but as the dev it might seem obvious to you because you made it. General concusses of "the map is too big" I have to agree with too. A neat little game though if it took less time to get to and from the places you need to go
Apr 26 14:29:10 5m 45s Chiuigi Liebi ♥ 0 I kind of feel like I won too easily, like the entire stealth aspect didn't actually do anything and i just answered the questions to win. The idea of hiding from your ex under the table is funny and interesting though, it really could have been better executed
Apr 26 14:36:27 7m 17s Platjectile ♥ 0 A real solid concept. I think the slingshot fires you out way too fast and the controls feel a little wonky, kind of feels more like I'm playing as a bin bag full of feathers rather than what looks like a solid metal ball. A lot of this could probably be fixed just by slowing down all the movements
Apr 26 14:47:43 11m 16s Black Horizon ♥ 1 I had a really hard time figuring out where I was actually meant to be going and for some reason the game took a really long time to load even though my PC is pretty well equipped. The idea looks really fun though with some tuning
Apr 26 16:21:23 1h 33m Infinite Typer ♥ 0 Really good, really hard though. I don't have time to take in what is around the corner and even touch my keyboard before I hit something
Apr 26 16:45:19 23m 56s Toppen Ultimate Anime Defense ♥ 1 5/5 for every category. This is by far the most professional and fun game I have played in the jam and is the only one to make its way from my downloads folder to my games folder as I will want to play it again. I debated whether it deserved a 5 for theme and decided that the card based system was definitely deserving of the top score
