| Apr 25 20:25:20 | Kill Boom (singleplayer + multiplayer) | ♥ 1 | Really nice art style, I liked the colors and light. Also it has a very nice gameplay, a good place to be, congrats!!! | |
| Apr 30 21:57:31 | 121h 32m | Daydreaming Island | ♥ 1 | I really liked the mood and the music. The simple 1-bit art style suits the game very well too. The controls on the original build were a bit rough but are much improved now :) I wasn't really sure how I passed the vending machine code puzzle, I just kind of lucked out on it. The telescope puzzle was clearer, although I also think I lucked out on the last number since it wasn't very legible. Overall I enjoyed it, and it's pretty nice for such a short time frame. Good work! |
| May 1 17:07:04 | 19h 09m | Den | ♥ 2 | The concept was really cool, and I really enjoyed the art and music. The controls were a bit complicated but overall it was really fun to play :) Great work! I look forward to playing more of your games! |
| May 1 17:35:45 | 28m 41s | Wake Up ! | ♥ 1 | Nice simple graphics and cool gameplay. I got a bit stuck when I dropped a crate off a bridge and I couldn't get it back up again, and it seemed like I needed it to push a button afterwards. Some small nitpicks: -A simple transition between the dimensions when using the dreamcatcher (like a quick fade to black and back) would have been nice. -The E prompt for picking up the crate got flipped around when you grabbed it and turned around -The grass image was a little too stretched out, making it noticeably lower-res than the rest of the art. Overall it was a really nice game. Great job! |
| May 1 17:43:11 | 7m 26s | Wood Womb | ♥ 1 | Seems like a fun game, unfortunately the jump stopped working for me after a few uses. I tried reloading and the same thing happened again. I'd like to play it again if that's fixed :) |
| May 1 19:59:15 | 2h 16m | Little Mouse Planet | ♥ 1 | Nice take on the survival genre, and really amazing that this was made with scratch and in such a short time! :) The controls could be a bit clearer. I never figured out that I had to use the down key to eat the fruits. I only found out by reading your comments here :P |
| May 1 20:33:41 | 34m 26s | The Room | ♥ 1 | This was a really cool puzzle game for such a short time. The simple graphics work in its favor. The controls were simple and worked well, although some indication of what's clickable and what isn't would be a nice improvement if you intend to work on this further. Great job! |
| May 1 20:50:35 | 16m 54s | Turing Compete | ♥ 2 | I could see this becoming a cool puzzle game like the ones Zachtronics makes. Maybe rather that aiming for points you could have a target state of the terrain, so you pass a level by achieving that state, and score based on how many transitions/cycles you used to get there? Really nice clean visuals btw! |
| May 1 21:03:13 | 12m 38s | Earth Moon Smash Squadron | ♥ 0 | Good effort for your first LDJAM game :) The idea is pretty original. The controls worked well and the mechanics are quite clear. One thing that gets hard fairly quickly is how unpredictably the asteroid fragments will bounce. Perhaps if you could pull the fragments toward the moon somehow (like a simple gravitational pull) it would be a bit more manageable. Some visual indication of the planet's health would be nice too. Some basic sounds when things break, and when you get hit would be a huge improvement as well. Good job! |
| May 4 18:20:43 | 69h 17m | Superbugs | ♥ 1 | I find this game very original! I just really enjoyed to play! I also liked the music, keep going with this great idea, Congratulations! |
| May 5 01:50:00 | 7h 29m | Astromike | ♥ 1 | Amazing work! It reminds me of Hitman Go. Obviously it's not as polished, but it's incredible how close you came to that standard in such a short time! It would be nice to see this more fleshed out. |
| May 10 20:14:59 | 138h 24m | Paper Jam! | ♥ 1 | I liked the graphics, how they are combined with the world, very innovative :) |
| May 11 17:44:45 | 21h 29m | Last day of the woods | ♥ 1 | Hello! This is a very good game :) I like the graphics and music/sound a lot, I find it is a nice place to be. So all the hours you skipped from sleep and no life WORTH IT!. congrats. |
| May 11 18:00:59 | 16m 14s | You Dig-It | ♥ 1 | I played a lot! It's very fun. I got a bit frustrated after deaths, it would be nice to have a powerup or a health bar so you don't die at the first contact with crabs for example. But overall it's great! just keep working on this game! |
| May 14 19:11:57 | 73h 10m | Arrows in Orbit | ♥ 1 | It's a really great game for your first release! The controls are intuitive and smooth with the small exception that firing an arrow didn't feel very responsive. The mechanics are interesting, with the self-inflicted difficulty of avoiding your previous misses. It would be cool to see this concept taken further :) |
| May 14 19:29:44 | 17m 47s | Graphite | ♥ 1 | I enjoyed playing the game, the graphics are nice, and as others mentioned it's quite impressive that you made all this in 48 hours. However, as others have also mentioned, the game is quite hard. I did figure out what the different bars meant, but the fact that the mana doesn't recharge until you fill the xp bar is pretty punishing. Especially because you can only kill enemies with the melee attack which is really hard to connect without getting hit yourself. Maybe I just suck at this kind of game :P |
| May 14 19:55:36 | 25m 52s | The Space Explorer | ♥ 1 | Wow! It's really amazing that you made all this in 72 hours! All those models, textures and animations in such a short timeframe is really impressive. I had a bug where the player got stuck after the cutscene where you pull the first lever, but other than that everything worked perfectly. The combat is a little rough, as it's quite hard to hit the spiders without getting hit because it's hard to tell when they're attacking. The audio also felt a bit lacking, especially when the protagonist mentions loud noises and nothing plays. Other than that, I'm really impressed! Also, props for using Blender Game Engine :) |
| May 14 20:16:07 | 20m 31s | PiP: A multi-layered puzzle game | ♥ 1 | Cool game with a nice concept. I enjoyed the cute graphics and the puzzle mechanics were interesting. The transitions into/out of blocks are a bit jarring but the idea is communicated well enough. It could be a great starting point for a great puzzle game! |
| May 14 20:59:20 | 43m 13s | Pallas Station | ♥ 0 | I survived until November 2064. I don't usually play this sort of thing but I really enjoyed the resource management here. I didn't figure out the stacking mechanic though. I only found out about it after reading some posts here :) Great job on the overall implementation! |
| May 14 23:24:30 | 2h 25m | Echoes | ♥ 1 | This is one of my favorite entries so far! I really enjoyed the mechanics, and the feeling of the controls. I had some trouble figuring out the checkpoints, and the lack of feedback on death was a bit jarring and confusing; same thing for the ending. Aside from that it's really awesome! |
| May 15 00:42:04 | 1h 17m | Planet of Babel | ♥ 1 | It took me a while to understand how to play it, but I did it. I like the graphics and colors :) Great job! |
| May 15 01:10:30 | 28m 26s | Keeplanet | ♥ 1 | Super nice game idea and concept, I liked the music, assets and user interface design! well done! |
| May 15 19:29:25 | 18h 18m | Petty Puny Planet 38 | ♥ 0 | Super fun, very well done with the graphics! |
| May 16 15:25:28 | 19h 56m | Survival Game | ♥ 2 | Congratulations for your game! keep up learning everyday :) |
| May 16 15:30:35 | 5m 07s | Murder Mitosis | ♥ 3 | I loved the graphics! I enjoyed a lot playing it! congratulations! |
