| Aug 26 01:43:00 | CLIMB UP!! | You wrote this in 6502 assembly? That is insane and awesome. | |
| Aug 26 02:46:00 | 1h 03m | Scraith | Beautiful use of the theme. Nice game! |
| Aug 26 02:50:00 | 4m 00s | [gamma] | Really cool concept. Had fun! Pretty hard though. |
| Aug 26 02:51:00 | 1m 00s | Summer Death Olympics | Totally great concept and theme. Not much fun for one player though. |
| Aug 26 02:54:00 | 3m 00s | Time Gate | Terrific-looking ships, and competent gameplay. |
| Aug 26 02:58:00 | 4m 00s | Astronomical Odds | A game after my own heart. A lot of fun, though a bit hard for me. |
| Aug 26 03:07:00 | 9m 00s | Decasecond International | I don't get it. Is there some way to interact? |
| Aug 26 03:16:00 | 9m 00s | Changer | Really great. Very impressive. I'm not entirely sure how it works, though, yet. |
| Aug 26 03:18:00 | 2m 00s | 10 Second Paper Flight | Achievements are impressive! |
| Aug 26 03:25:00 | 7m 00s | Day of the Vampire | The funnest game I've played so far. Awesome job! |
| Aug 26 03:28:00 | 3m 00s | 10 Second Planet Destroyer | I was confused. Who am I? How much are things to buy? How do I win or lose? I'm confused. |
| Aug 26 03:31:00 | 3m 00s | GIMP the Tapedeck-Operated Robot | Super! I had fun! |
| Aug 26 03:35:00 | 4m 00s | Ten Second Takeoff | Had a lot of potential but just too hard! |
| Aug 26 03:36:00 | 1m 00s | The Mighty Runner | Couldn't run it. |
| Aug 26 03:38:00 | 2m 00s | Aftur | Just too hard. Couldn't even get to the first upper level. |
| Aug 26 03:41:00 | 3m 00s | CaptureZ | Amazingly brilliant despite some bugs and difficulty. You've really made two games here: just fencing alone would have been enough, without the shooting and whatnot. |
| Aug 26 03:43:00 | 2m 00s | Just Another Game With A 10 Second Mechanic | Looks brilliant except I can't really get far: it runs choppy, and I couldn't make heads or tails of how to get out of the first little area. |
| Aug 26 03:50:00 | 7m 00s | Ten Seconds (Needed to Pass Legislation) | This is flipping brilliant. You are an actual winner. I'm serious, man: this has creativity, humor, logic... It's actually *fun*. No matter what people say, this thing is awesome. It reminds me of Democracy 2 (Lite). Only problem: it gets pretty deep pretty darned fast—a lot of calculation required very early on. Oh, and there was something unclear to me: I solved one level using "TAXES AND GOOD", but I didn't understand why. What does "AND GOOD" signify? |
| Aug 26 03:54:00 | 4m 00s | Ride the Bullet | I really had a lot of fun with that! Cool! |
| Aug 26 03:56:00 | 2m 00s | Ten Seconds of Thrust | Darned good fun! |
| Aug 26 03:58:00 | 2m 00s | Crazy Teleporter: Zombie Edition | The "Web" version doesn't work on the web. It takes me to a download link for a .zip file. |
| Aug 26 04:03:00 | 5m 00s | 10 SECONDS | I'm confused. I hold the left mouse button. I go slowly towards a thing. I reach the thing. I see a green face. I'm back where I started. What am I missing? |
| Aug 26 04:19:00 | 16m 00s | 7Tulips | Wow, so feeling that make a single game in 48 hours was too small a challenge, raarlac decided to make FIVE games in 48 hours. Unbelievable. Fantastic. |
| Aug 26 04:20:00 | 1m 00s | Forward Motion | Web version doesn't seem to work on my Mac. I get a blue and grey (alternating) 100% bar in a small window. |
| Aug 26 04:23:00 | 3m 00s | 575 | Brilliant concept, beautifully executed. That said, ten seconds is just no way long enough to count the syllables in long words and form a Haiku. I did see you had a second version, but then that breaks the theme.

Bit of a pickle
Make your game *good* or *correct*?
A real conundrum |
| Aug 26 04:27:00 | 4m 00s | No Time: 10 Lost Seconds | A ton of work obviously went into this. Nice going! |
| Aug 26 04:28:00 | 1m 00s | Certain Defeat | I can't move. Can't click on anything (not even the CONTROLS button. Something's wrong on my Mac. |
| Aug 26 04:35:00 | 7m 00s | 10 Second Sculptor | Yeah this is truly brilliant. This is the first game I've played so far (out of dozens and dozens) that I could see myself playing for hours, really bonding with, really making my own. Fantastic, elegant, clever. You deserve a handshake, a pat on the back: whatever it is that would make you feel a great sense of recognition and accomplishment. Seriously. |
| Aug 26 04:38:00 | 3m 00s | Perfect Ten | This is genius. Unfortunately I can't get past level two: too hard! Brilliant though, apart from that. |
| Aug 26 04:43:00 | 5m 00s | Eat to Live | I had to download the SWF. Why not put it on a webpage so it just runs? But I did download it and played it and the game has tremendous humor and a lot of promise. It's hard to actually eat people though--I was never sure where I was supposed to be standing. Then I ate up all the people and there was no-one left, so I just kept dying. Something missing here? |
| Aug 26 04:44:00 | 1m 00s | Stuck in a Clock | Web version doesn't run for me. Sorry I can't rate it! |
| Aug 26 04:46:00 | 2m 00s | Space Rift | Man I stink, or this is a bit too hard. Great graphics and sound though, and nice polish. |
| Aug 26 04:48:00 | 2m 00s | Coeus IV | Cool concept. A nice way to cut the Gordian Knot by being able to focus on content for the 48 hours rather than graphics and collision systems and whatnot. Nice job! |
| Aug 26 04:50:00 | 2m 00s | RGBaY | This is promising but I'm pretty mystified. I'm clicking circles like mad but the game's over in 10 seconds. Is that the idea? |
| Aug 26 05:00:00 | 10m 00s | Graveyard Shift | Nice graphics. It ran pretty slow on my system at times. Also, the creatures keep getting up inside my head—suddenly they've snuck up and they're inside me. That's not real fun. |
| Aug 26 05:03:00 | 3m 00s | exposure | This is totally freaking brilliant, except...just what am I supposed to be doing? I'm intrigued but confused. |
| Aug 26 05:06:00 | 3m 00s | Timeline | Yep, that is totally brilliant. Super cool concept, well executed. |
| Aug 26 05:12:00 | 6m 00s | Seconds-Guess | Yep, that's totally great. Brilliant idea, beautifully executed. I'm intimidated. |
| Aug 26 05:15:00 | 3m 00s | Seconds | Genius! Apart from the visuals it's near perfection. The cooking meta-story is brilliant. The game proper got a little monotonous after the first 2-3 levels, though, because you get used to the controls and the red circles aren't much of an obstacle. |
| Aug 26 05:19:00 | 4m 00s | Tiny Arena | It really is amazing to have put something like this together in 48 hours. There's a ton here! And it's fun! |
| Aug 26 05:23:00 | 4m 00s | Night Stalker | Great job! The AI, animation, and visuals are brilliant. And it's fun! |
| Aug 26 05:26:00 | 3m 00s | Badger Bolt! | No possible way! Seriously, 5 stars is not enough to award this game for graphics. Un-be-lievable! Oh boy I'm dizzy now though. |
| Aug 26 05:50:00 | 24m 00s | 10 Seconds Before the World Ends | Okay yeah I think I'm gonna go out there on a limb and say that this is my favorite LD27 game so far (and I've been playing a *bunch* of them). Genius take on the theme, nicely implemented, with a cute opening segment (even) and fun gameplay. This deserves money, man. (Not from me. :) ) Polish it up a tiny bit. Publish it. The images of burning cars in a city literally in its last 10 seconds of existence... I tell you, this is genius. |
| Aug 26 05:52:00 | 2m 00s | Sixth of a Minute | Very nice, very playable game. |
| Aug 26 05:54:00 | 2m 00s | Every Ten Seconds A Kitten Drowns | I was loving this game as soon as I saw the name. And the actual play does not disappoint. Beautiful job! |
| Aug 26 05:56:00 | 2m 00s | YOGH@)!$Q#4$%7GDF: Destroyer of Keyboards! | LOL at the name and picture. Play the game. LOL again. Brilliant. |
| Aug 26 06:00:00 | 4m 00s | 10 Seconds In 10 Seconds | Great concept and it's mostly there. I found that there was a lot of ammo starvation though. The AI is also a bit cheaty: when he's targetting you he's got no turning delay, yet your own slow steering speed is one of the chief elements of the game. Still, I enjoyed it. |
| Aug 26 06:04:00 | 4m 00s | Clocked In | I simply can't believe how great this is. Can't believe it. Fun, beautiful, polished to a fault. Publish it. Make people pay you for it. That's all there is left to do. My favorite touch (of many): the jiggling blue ball when you collide with something. Kids, study your linear algebra and maybe you, too, will be able to make a game like this someday. |
| Aug 26 06:08:00 | 4m 00s | YorkTime | Very cool concept. Nice visuals—brilliant. I did get a bit confused and my character ended up stuck. I want to play this more though, which is more than I can say for some entries. |
| Aug 26 06:11:00 | 3m 00s | LEGACY | I found it a bit hard—too slow for the distances between "air bubbles"—which was frustrating because I really wanted to see the nice environment. |
| Aug 26 06:14:00 | 3m 00s | Under Water | If there was a category for "Particles" I'd give you a 10 (out of 5). There's tremendous potential here. I'm intrigued. The bubbles and plants are amazing. Tons of goodness. But I didn't find much of a game. Not sure what to do. Not sure why the world kept resetting. Confused. |
| Aug 26 06:17:00 | 3m 00s | Knight's Temper | I want to love this. There are lots of beautiful things going on. Brilliant name—play on Knight's Templar, I trust. But I can't figure out what I'm doing or supposed to do. Why do I keep exploding? Should I run to the glowing things? Or, somewhere else? |
| Aug 26 06:22:00 | 5m 00s | 1 AM | Terrific. This has got to be one of the most polished and complete games here. Also one of the richest. Thank you for that. |
| Aug 26 06:26:00 | 4m 00s | Routine decisions (in 10 seconds) | I'm just going to take this opportunity to say how freaking brilliant it is to be part of Ludum Dare this time around, and for one reason: getting to see the sheer genius of so many brilliant game developers. Not all the games are brilliant, naturally, but when they are... And this one is. Awesome concept, beautifully executed. It HAS to win something. Great job! |
| Aug 26 06:50:00 | 24m 00s | The Duellists | I love this so much that it's not even fair. Love the setting and concept. Clever play on the LD theme. And what an execution! Fantastic. |
| Aug 26 06:52:00 | 2m 00s | ROBO-TIC | Superb. Cool concept and nice execution. Cool post effect too! |
| Aug 26 06:57:00 | 5m 00s | Kitty Force 10 | Man, some games just leave ya feeling intimidated by their awesomeness. This is one of them. Major polish here. Beautiful controls. Smile-inducing graphics. Superb! |
| Aug 26 07:02:00 | 5m 00s | Going In For Seconds | Love the title. Loved the Wife art in the intro. Cool concept. I couldn't figure out how to open the fridge though. |
| Aug 26 07:06:00 | 4m 00s | Ten Down | Incredible. Beautifully executed with lovely art. The mouth-generated sound effects are hilarious. |
| Aug 26 07:10:00 | 4m 00s | Hack It All! | Cool. Love the concept. Nice execution, though I did get stuck on the level after the one shown in your primary screen shot. Just could not get thorough quick enough. This game years for multitouch. |
| Aug 26 07:14:00 | 4m 00s | Rebound Recon | Nicely done! Here's some sophisticated programming. Wow!

You'll find that my game has some similar elements like scrubbing back and forward in time and adjusting physics. Not similar enough to be embarrassing, though, I think :) Try: http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-27/?action=preview&uid=25979 |
| Aug 26 07:19:00 | 5m 00s | The Clocktower | The screenshot has me sold already. And the game does not disappoint. Terrific graphics. Fun gameplay. Super music. Great! |
| Aug 26 07:35:00 | 16m 00s | Thade | I enjoyed the "story". The beating heart visual was very well done. The game itself is competent but didn't grab me violently. I would like to play more though. |
| Aug 26 07:40:00 | 5m 00s | T-Minus | Incredible. What a great concept, and it plays beautifully. I love the use of the voice (although he does get tiresome after a while). Ten seconds isn't quite long enough for the later levels though. I got stuck on the first one where the pieces are already out between the two rockets. |
| Aug 26 07:43:00 | 3m 00s | Ultimate Survival Lab | Pretty cool. It's like the opposite of an RPG: the game is leveling up ("Faster Rockets!") instead of the player. Had fun with it. |
| Aug 26 07:46:00 | 3m 00s | Lil' Kingdom Strives To Survive | Cool concept. I really want to play it more, but I feel a bit confused as to the concept. Obviously needs a bit more time, but I hope you give it the time: I think it could be something excellent. |
| Aug 26 07:49:00 | 3m 00s | 10Seconds Racer | Woah. Even for a 48 hour game this would be a real accomplishment. In 5 hours?! Brilliant. I mean...skid marks? You had time for details like that in 5 hours?! Amazing. |
| Aug 26 07:53:00 | 4m 00s | Ten Sextillion Zeptoseconds | Terrific minimalist use of the concept. Simple but fun! |
| Aug 26 07:55:00 | 2m 00s | 10 Sec Hero | I'm attracted by the graphics and theme but can't get anything to really happen. Arrow keys take me up a couple of stuffs, then red negative numbers start popping out and then the game is over. Is it a bug or a lack of instructions? |
| Aug 27 15:32:00 | 31h 37m | Fireworks | Genius. And a lot going on, with the shop and everything. Great job! |
| Aug 28 00:56:00 | 9h 24m | Haraka | Shows great promise, but I can't get past the third jump! |
| Aug 28 01:02:00 | 6m 00s | Project: "Explosion" | Feels very sluggish, but cool concept, and I did have fun dodging the objects. |
| Aug 28 01:03:00 | 1m 00s | Back for Seconds | Not my cup of tea. And boy that hot pink did a number on my eyes. |
| Aug 28 01:05:00 | 2m 00s | Leveling on borrowed time | Cute, and nice intro, but pretty basic game. |
| Aug 28 01:08:00 | 3m 00s | QuickHunt | Really love the graphical style. |
| Aug 28 01:10:00 | 2m 00s | The Choice | I'm sorry, I couldn't get through the intro—just too slow. |
| Aug 28 01:16:00 | 6m 00s | The Saddest Landscape | Love the theme, the film strip, and the music. Not much fun to be had here, though, am I right? |
| Aug 28 01:49:00 | 33m 00s | Gauntlet: A Series of Ten Second Strategies | Is there something I am supposed to do apart from pressing Q and E and looking at a piece of text stating that I lost? Some clear controls would help. This seems like an interesting idea but I don't know what to do. |
| Aug 28 02:04:00 | 15m 00s | Hourglass | A really good idea for a passing-the-time game, no pun intended! A 3 second safe period at the start might make it a little less irritating if I get hit as soon as I start, however. I had fun, simply. |
| Aug 28 02:25:00 | 21m 00s | SAVE THE WORLD! | A pretty cool idea with amazing pixel art, but no key code. |
| Aug 28 22:02:00 | 19h 37m | IMPETUS | Brilliant, of course. Read about it via Hacker News. |
| Aug 29 16:57:00 | 18h 55m | Crazy Genetist | Cool concept. Danged hard. |
| Aug 29 17:01:00 | 4m 00s | Defuse in 10 seconds | Cool. Educational! Is there an ending? I gave up hope at level 16. |
| Aug 29 17:04:00 | 3m 00s | Entropy | Pretty great. Run backward and shoot like mad! Cool concept. |
| Aug 30 00:03:00 | 6h 59m | Duel | Totally brilliant. Double rock-paper-scissors. |
| Aug 30 00:26:00 | 23m 00s | MegaPunch | That actually works amazingly well. Good times! |
| Aug 30 00:31:00 | 5m 00s | 10 Sec And Slash | Really, really cool. Got tired of waiting for the text to pass though. |
| Sep 4 20:57:00 | 140h 26m | The 10 (other) Seconds Journey | I don't get it. |
| Sep 4 21:00:00 | 3m 00s | ARGENTUM FORM | Title screen wins! The game is promising but that staticky effect is extremely off-putting. Can't go on. |
| Sep 4 21:04:00 | 4m 00s | Cosmic Commander | That is pretty darned sophisticated for a weekend game. Cool! |
| Sep 4 21:10:00 | 6m 00s | Antidote | Definitely one of the better LD27 games. Great job! |
| Sep 5 16:45:00 | 19h 35m | Legend of Troll | Awesome concept, great visuals. |
