Feels more like a basic twin-stick shooter prototype. Nice controls and level but I can't associate it with current ludum theme.
Do u plan to improve your current project and publish it somewhere later? I'd look forward to it!

Nice graphics and overall approach! Keep doing the good work=)
p.s. would appreciate if u rate our game too https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/39/answer-me
Core mechanics are lit considering the current theme. Thank you for bringing a good idea to life!

First of all: yes, i liked the game and overall quality. Especially graphics and music.
I'd actually went through the git history and can't understand why is it a jam submition. It was a work of 4 full days instead of 2 for jam and 3 for compo. And I can't take it on word you created everything from scratch. Even if we leave graphics out of discussion. Also there is a very vague intersection with theme 'running out of power'. Seems like you had an idea of this game before jam and worked out a few assets to actually submit it.
First of all, nice vibe of old tanks from nintendo)
I'd suggest to do next: - make a destruction sound the same volume for all tanks - slower your tank down, right now it's very easy to avoid bullets - make different colors for tanks instead of grey shades. it's hard to differ them right now - bind special ability to timer and make it an instant of very fast blast. it would be far more tactical and useful
Nice one! Kinda reminds me of OllieOllie

Graphics are really nice. Controls are easy. I'd suggest to work a little bit on audio to give a real feeling of fight. Thank you!
The overall idea of 'pushing object' while fighting hordes of enemies is nice but i'd like more dynamic start. If game needs to tell smth from the very beginning it's better to start it AFTER reading the text. Graphics're nice. Would be cool to have slower enemies with more smooth movement to shoot them more easily.
Visual design somehow reminded me of Dune =)
Very nice concept! Very familiar and fun for everyone nowadays i guess;)
Gameplay itself is ok but I just couldn't accept phones telling me to push buttons on other phones. It feels strange even for game. Imo u can improve it by adding a bit more sense to what's actually happening. As a result you can add more mechanics/graphics.
Idea's cool. Not some copypasted stuff.
nice one! i'd suggest to try a few hearts decreasing by one whole heart at a time and bullets. it will be more easy to balance for a few difficulties and definitely more easy to understand. i didn't get the idea that heart will decrease slowly for the start. also sounds are a bit creepy, wanted smth more cartoonish considering graphics
overall choice of genre and mechanics is pretty good but it was really hard to get feel of controls. also i'd like a bit more control in midair
One of the cutest graphics approaches i've seen on this ludum)
Thank you so much! We have a big plans for it. If we get enough ratings and feedback there is chance we will continue project with more contacts, different dialog themes for each contact and maybe even a separate game mode without a timer. It can still be useful as an exercise=)
@n-feofentov we've considered a score penalty for sending wrong message but it worked out as a timer instead. Thank you for your feedback! It's really nice to see a player considering smth that was actually discussed in the development process. Seems like we are heading the right way=)
@phlip45 yes, the end screen is needed ofc in your case. We will imnprove overall logic and balance if this project will seem interesting enough for players on ludum. Btw we couldn't imagine someone will actually beat all dialogs with longest answers in time 0_o Imo it's because english is not our native=) Thanks for the feedback! Also nice score, man =D
@kunonooni if we continue the project after ludum, we will definitely implement step-by-step tutorial. It's essential to make a game fair and challenging.
@syl-whatsupdesign partially yes=) Especially the temporal paradox part if u saw that ending ;) Thank you for your feedback!
@ddrkirbyisq one of the most useful comments so far! Thank you a lot. First two points are WIP and will be ready soon. We will consider your feedback and work on the other two parts.
@carlosvvk we're considering it as a separate mode=)
too bloomy x)) but overall is fun!
