Nice solid experience, cool idea and feels pretty polished. I think a grading system(so like needing only 70% to pass a level) would go a long way because i wanted to play longer but the difficulty was too punishing. Displaying what words you're looking for before the level starts would also help make the game more accessible.

One of my favourite compo games so far great job! i like the aesthetic and the idea to decrease visibility i think a vignette that increases in intensity would be better than zooming in on the character. A way of fighting back against lack of visibility would also add another dimension to the game

@sam-estep thanks for the feedback not sure I understand though, right click/middle mouse click allows you to rotate the camera and scrollwheel allows you to zoom in and out.

The basic mechanic isn't that interesting but the shop/abilities made me quite excited the idea of summoning biblical plagues upon the earth is really interesting and I'd be keen to see more of that game play take place.

The game looks great and the concept is very creative. Flying around was quite satisfying and i liked the sound I think with refined flying and a way to interact the enemies and dodge the rocks would make it a really solid expirience

Dashing was fun but it was difficult to orient myself especially aiming at the enemy and where i wanted to dash. Islands that were placed diagonally seemed unnecessarily hard to get to, that being said dashing across the islands while dealing with the boss was definitely i think you should lean into that gameplay more the game is at its best when played at a high tempo

Really interesting game i like the gun mechanic and the introduction to the mechanics are quite well designed my only issue was jumping because you have double jumping and air control it's slightly more difficult to maneuver in the air using WASD id suggest putting jumping on spacebar or on the mouse otherwise one of my favourite games so far.

I really like the mechanic, the audio and atmosphere is great. It would be great if you improved the communication of the mechanic better make it more tense as you run out of space. A reticule would be nice but it makes sense with the mechanic why you didn't have one.
