Looks good, controls well, just wish there was some kind of background music and fewer blind jumps right into instant death.

Even on the lowest graphics settings there is still a lot of input lag, which makes the game mostly unplayable. Also very tedious needing to reset the NES every time you fall down.
This game was made by one person, and the graphics and sound show it. Not bad, but nothing impressive. The game is fun until you get far enough in and consider getting back to that point in the game would take more effort than it is worth. Overall, nice job.

This game is a nearly 1:1 exact copy of Into Space by Barbarian Games, down to the design of the rocket and the HUD, except at least Into Space gives your rocket enough power to make a single dollar with no upgrades. The only way to beat your game is to spam the keyboard until you find the one that gives you more money than all of the upgrades combined and instantly breaks the game to even be playable. I'd give you a negative score if I could, but all you get is 1 star in all categories for being unplayable and plagiarizing. into space.png rrrrr.png
Great game overall, but when you have a system that requires certain items to continue or else you lose, the drop rates have to be balanced. I played the game 5 times from the beginning and only got one battery out of all the playthroughs. Also, at least make a way to reset the game other than refreshing.
Could use a bit of explanation on the gameplay but it is a neat little tower defense type game.
Good visuals and sound, but there is no indication of how to play within the game. You're banking on the fact that people are supposed to read the description page first, which a lot of people including myself don't usually do. The game itself also has a very early and very steep difficulty curve.
@bso Real classy, promoting your own game in someone else's comments.
For what little there is, it's alright. Not sure why the meteors get to use the entire screen while the player is stuck inside the boundary box, makes things frustrating.
Excellent from start to finish. Mowing down hordes of robots is great. Only problems are that there's no way to see if you are getting hit until it's too late and the socket does not follow the crosshair it's a bit below which makes plugging in tricky.

This reminds me of the maze game for the Atari 2600 but in the dark. I see that once you ran out of ideas/time to make levels you just stuck in a RNG to do it for you, which is a shame because all the remaining levels had none of the traps introduced in the beginning and were either far too easy or far too hard until you eventually run out of crystals and have to quit.
The game is fun once you reach a certain threshold, but until then it feels very slow and tedious to wait for the money to come in
