Pretty well polished for a LD game. I liked your interpretation of the theme and the game's narrative. Only complaint I have is that I was expecting more. Hope you decide to continue working on this!

Hilarious and fun game, although it was far too easy to "glitch-out" the ragdoll physics and have to restart the game.
I really enjoyed the premise of this game. Was nice to see a sort of strategy game on LD instead of the usual platformer or shooter fare. I enjoyed the citizens voices as well!
The visuals were nice and the counter-spell mechanic kept things interesting. Overall a fun entry.
Very pleasant artwork and music, and the gameplay mechanics seemed well done. I would have liked to play more of this game but it kept bugging out on me and I couldn't progress very far. With a bit more polish this could be great!
The artwork for the game is incredible, but the actual gameplay leaves a lot to be desired. The controls feel slippery and it seems like all you have to do to win is spam the bombs. That being said, I really enjoyed the concept and the artwork, I think the gameplay just needed more tweaking.
Fast paced and enjoyable, and looks good to boot. Not sure how it fits the theme though.
Fun little game but feels a bit rough around the edges. Love the introduction and transition into the action, and the concept of the game is humorous. The game could have strongly benefited from a How To Play screen at the beginning. I'd also recommend a camera that's centered on the player, as the one in place made the game difficult to play. All in all, a solid entry!
I really enjoyed this interpretation of the theme, and the fire/water mechanics introduced a lot more depth than I thought possible at first. These mechanics were intuitive for the most part, which is due in no small part to the excellent level design. On top of all this, the art and music were very well done. One of the best games I've seen this LD.
Really nice take on the theme! The game is simple and fun to play, and the art and music come together and give the game a fun atmosphere. The only complaint that I have is some of the hitboxes seemed too large, resulting in getting stuck on some objects in the environment. Other than that, great job!
Stylish game with great presentation. The music and animations are on point. Having to use the mouse was a bit annoying, as well as not being able to use WASD, and I think the implementation of a health system instead of instant death would have improved the game, but otherwise great job!
Excellent concept, beautiful art and music, and on top of that the game is straight up fun to play! The slow-mo effect adds a lot to the game as well!
Fun game. Starts out simple but new enemies get added in with a solid difficulty curve. The artwork is also nice, I like some of the death animations in particular.
Although the gameplay is fairly straightforward, the high amount of polish makes it enjoyable. The menus in particular were well done.
