LD59 — Signal

Loved the game. The art is cute and the sound design is solid. Felt like if Noita and Motherload got mixed up into a game together. The end screen left me a little confused for a moment, as it felt like i might've just died because i didnt run from the explosion. Also the damage taken from bouncing into walls, while miniscule, was still a little annoying. Overall though, really good job. One of my favorites so far!

Very cool game. Your vector skills are indeed showing. Looks great!

Slime Signals by funisfun8 2026-04-20T12:12:16Z

The game is nice and simple. Good scope for a gamejam. It's somewhat confusing about how it works at first, but eventually i seemed to understand how it works. Maybe add some sort of clearer explanation or tutorial where it teaches you step by step?

vibe noding by pataya 2026-04-20T20:08:25Z

I will say i definitely spent more time on this than i intended :). Really cool idea for a game jam. Art also looks cute. Really good job, especially with choosing a scope. Feels more polished than most games in the jam.

Radio Silence Gone by Juutis 2026-04-21T09:37:35Z

Loved the artstyle with the 3D walls and 2D world. Gameplay reminded me of Teleglitch (as it is also a top down shooter) in the best way possible. Good job to everyone on the team!

Switchboard Operator by CaptainSpoof 2026-04-20T20:44:37Z

Really innovative concept along with a really good execution. Crazy that this was a solo project with the amount of polish it has. Artstyle is nice and relaxed, the environment is really chill. The feedback of each little wire connection making a little click is nice and satisfying. Only bugs i could find were that zooming turns my camera if im holding a wire at the same time and also sometimes i would have to switch out a wire for it to connect to the terminal. That being said, great job all around!

Roadkill junction by BadPiggy 2026-04-20T23:20:48Z

Really cool idea with really good execution. The idea is simple enough to be understandable pretty quickly, but there are so many things to track that being good at it is not too easy :). The art is really cool too. Great job on the game. Hope to see more from you someday!

Cableman [a rhythm game] by rucksack 2026-04-21T08:46:07Z

Died 111 times, but beat all the levels. Would do it all over again to hear you sing about cableman. Really cool game with a surprising amount of levels. Nice to see a rhythm game that actually works. Respect to all of our cablemen. Good job to everyone on the team! (Cableman, The soundtrack i mean, is def going on my playlists)

Sine Factory by oxnh 2026-04-21T12:20:12Z

Really cool concept, but as some other people have said, the space constraints along with the oscilloscope being a separate object made it more frustrating than it had to be. I think one nice fix for this issue would be adding a built in oscilloscope to each node, or at the very least, making the oscilloscope smaller. All that being said The vibe you've created is really nice, and if you ever find the time, i think this concept has have a lot of potential if you polish it a little. You all did great :)

Mission: Stop Transmission by ZedGame 2026-04-21T09:18:47Z

This is what i imagine call center scammers feel like when they try to trick someone with a non-windows computer. Only change i would make to the game is to auto open objectives on start up. Great job all around, the level of functionality here is crazy!

Agent Gnortz by Murumart 2026-04-20T12:07:15Z

Loved the game. One of the few games that made me laugh in this gamejam. Artstyle is also really cool due to it being unapologetic about just being itself.

Pumpkin Bypass Clinic by 042a 2026-04-20T20:20:32Z

While it's not the most original idea considering the theme, it was still relatively fun once i got the hang of what each tool did. I would probably assign positive signal change to one button, and negative signal change to another to make it a litte easier to hit the specific signal amplitude or speed that you need. Also i dont think ive ever been under so many people at once :). Overall good job!

The Red Watcher by FoxEcho 2026-04-21T11:24:48Z

Absolutely killed it with the visuals. Only thing i would criticize, is that i didnt know what upgrades did until i accidentally hovered over one. That could be communicated a little better. That being said, the visual juice and feedback that is so crucial for an incremental game is all here and its more stylish than most incremental games. One of my favorites entries this jam :)

Catching the Signal by MeeRebane 2026-04-21T00:49:30Z

@whiteowl4399 Absolutely peak feedback about the lobster. Gave me a good chuckle :)

Catching the Signal by MeeRebane 2026-04-22T09:55:02Z

@oxnh Hey, programmer here. Yeah you are so right on the font, it is mad blurry and bothers me to high hell. Not even nearest scaling seemed to fix it :). I gave it a good hour and a half just trying to find ways to not make it blurry but absolutely nothing seemed to work. I'll figure it out for the next jam i promise hahahah :)

Harmonic by Whiteowl4399 2026-04-20T23:54:38Z

Im pretty big on deckbuilder games like this so this kinda game is right up my alley. Really good job with the visual feedback. The whole wave altering approach to attacking and defending could very easily have been super complicated to understand, but i think you all did a good job simplifying it (thank you for having a tutorial at the start). The soundtrack and art are also really cool. I would love to see this idea get more fleshed out with more cards and such if you ever have the time! :)

Tracking by Sound by imeng 2026-04-20T20:23:03Z

From what i can see, it looks fun, but as others have said, the embedding on both itch and ludum seems to be broken right now! Leave a comment once you get it working so we can try it out :)

5G Crash by krawa 2026-04-21T09:44:48Z

The soundtrack for this game is absolutely amazing! Gameplay is also quite simple to understand but there's enough to do that it isn't boring. Art is also very charming. Good job on the jam!

MORSE SHOOTER by AstroAceOne 2026-04-21T19:26:59Z

Really cool concept. Was fun to play while it lasted, but it seems like right now it stops on wave 6 stage 1. Great job nontheless. Felt like even when i messed my combos up, it still worked out pretty great. Keep at it!
