perfectly polished game. Graphics, sound, UI design was very well done. Love the puzzles right mix of being challenging without frustrating. Would havae loved t play more ;)
Thanks a lot for all your feedback. We already tweaked physics and usability, but we are not sure if we want to publish the new version, because we don't want to influence ratings with post jam work. But after rating phase we will definitly come out with a new version, and most probably this game will make it to a full version soon.
i love that mousepointer!. Innovative gameplay, though i don't think i would play it for a longer time, but as a new kind of puzzle that could be used in other games its very nice
Graphics/ ANimations, sound were on point. Gameplay is ok, but not to innovative. And some pple may like controlling multiple characters, for me its always confusing, and i dont feel like i have full control. Also the viewport i felt was abit small so sheeps surprised me quite often. But overall well done!
i dont know if it was just for me but the clicking hot spots were way to fast and i messed a "hit" feedback. I really would have enjoyed more diversity (graphics and audio) in different clubs. Lot of creativity in card naming though there is nearly no motivation to read it.
In overall a good submission. Loved the music, though i missed sounds. The art style was abit mixed. Outside the cave handpainted, while in the cave it seemd a bit like developer arts. Also different styles on charcter and monsters, could be more coherent. Also another really small thing. Shots were not exactly in direction of my mouse, they were a bit off, tahs was abit confusing. But these are just small things, after all well done.
I get lost so easily ;) I love the Minotaur model and animations, also the sound was very scary. Controls were a bit confusing at the beginning, and i dont know what to use the sword on ;) also i found way more keys then chests ;) But overall good Job!
played it on my stream and got quite hooked even if i suck at these games. Overall i liked it, though the feedback could be better if you got hit. Also it took me awhile for understanding the whole aiming system ;)
i like the idea, but its hard to predict what will exactly happen so its often a kind of guessing game, especially when and where an enemy will shoot so its hard to plan for this. Also i did nit really get the shield Vlcn thing. After all a nice idea that needs some serious work ;)
Audio and Graphics were well done. The theme was also definitly nailed. Though i am not sure if it blends well together. I found myself just shooting al the time without really paying attention to the cards, because you don't have time for it. a turn based or semi turn based approach could maybe help?
I liked it it really much, especially because i play a lot of poker. One (little) downside is, that a computer can never replace a real opponent in poker. But using poker in a game really triggers my imaginations. Though i would go for a multiplyer thing. That coudl combine the fun of playing poker and the problem of "play money" poker. Finding a way to give "play money" poker a new kind of meta game, could really be a great success.
Thx for all the nice comments, we will definitly also test and rate your games in the next days. I will try to stream this at least 30 minutes a day for the next 2 weeks at https://www.twitch.tv/neobirdgames
@facepalmpt i keep thinking on "Ready Player one" the new Spielberg movie on that so i also thought about some 80s music, maybe in a Post Jam steam version (with VR mode!)
Hard to judge (for me at least). The narrative part itself is quite good. But it lacks a bit on gemeplay. I didn't found any strategic decision i have to make just using whats there until things die. i didnt even figured out if theres some limits on med kits? i always had one. because of the 1v1 character of battles. the weapons are not that different, lower ones just means klicking more because cards are instantly replaced. The system would need a lot more work to get a challenging and fun system.
I like the art style and the sound. Also nice game mechanics, though i did not fell in loe with the controls. It felt a bit clunky, and there was no feeling of speed. But the whole presentation was quite good so expect a good rating by me ;)
Really nice athmosphere. I would like to see a kind of story unfolding. Then this could be really interesting. Has potential for a real game. Objects weren't taht hidden, and some false objects "could" be implemented.
Surely a funny game, but i felt the aiming was a bit clunky. i also found it hard to build stuff while enemies kept coming so fast. Also i would like more visual feedback of the advantages buildings give you.
maybe i didnt understood the machanics fully, but it didnt kick for me. Art style was neat. But you finished a gamy on your first entry thats important! keep going.
at some point to hard for me so i gave up quite fast at the red ball shooting thing (level 3?), so i can not tell if theres a use for circles and triangles. graphics were ok, but audio was missing. Mechanics are interesting though and with some work i could imagine a nice game
