The pixel art is lovely, and Prometheus giving a caveman an invention machine is a great setup. I like how replacing your inventions turns your own upgrades into old tech. Really neat way to work the theme into the progression!

@avi Thank you! The game really starts to reveal its depth as you leave more and more technologies behind and replace them with new ones. And there are some pretty unexpected surprises waiting for you near the end! :)

oo ok! I quit a bit early, im curious to see the end, ill try again!
Honestly what a hecking cool entry, you really hooked me with the skill tree xD i loved how you implemented the stage progress without it feeling super unnatural. Yeah no comment to the art, stunning really!

Great job on this project! The visual style and audio fit together really nicely, creating an awesome vibe. Super impressive execution within the 72-hour limit! Left my ratings! If you have some spare time, feel free to drop by our page and try out our entry as well. Would love to hear your feedback!

Its an interesting take and has some nice incremental touches and gets addictive. I really like the art but personally it takes a bit too long to go up and get the items for the upgrades. I think it would have been better to have like 10 floors (for the jam at least) max. Also the enemies respawn too fast immo which makes the process of going up to floor 10 and above really tedious. Dying is really good in this game cause you get all chests respawned, so you can farm the keys early on super fast. Cool entry, potential idea is there but needs polishing.

Very cool concept ! I think it was a bit long in the progression, the secondary set of item like the plank was too slow to come up, but it's still so fun to play ! I would love to have a little bit more feedback about the sound but the background music is cool and the pixel art beautiful !

Neat game, if perhaps a bit grindy. The resource progression worked well as it made me feel like Prometheus a few times, as I needed to steal a few resources to progress. I mostly avoided combat until machine gun so perhaps some of the more interesting weapons could have come earlier.

Very nice game, I've played way longer than I intended to 😅 The core loop is super addictive, but it is quite grindy and the balancing could be improved a bit. For example I felt like the weapon upgrades that gave you more damage per hit, but a slower fire speed were actually downgrades. The machine gun was really good since it fires so fast, but clearing rooms with the drone launcher afterwards was actually slower because often those big projectiles would only hit 1-2 enemies. Other than that I really enjoyed it and made it to the very end! Congrats on this entry! Screenshot 2026-10-20 140521.png

@dekisenpaitm Wow, thank you so much! Really glad you enjoyed it that much! :D
@Nursultan Thanks again! I'll definitely check out your game too! :)
@Elmalach Thank you!
@rhewid Yeah, I probably should've designed the game a bit more around the jam rating experience. I really tried to make each stage feel different rather than turning the whole thing into a simple DPS race. Didn't quite pull it off everywhere, but I'm still pretty happy with how it turned out! Anyway, thanks a lot for playing and for the thoughtful feedback!
@Saphi @theVasandr Thanks!
@Em_Perrier Unfortunately, the music and sound effects were AI-generated, although under my direction, so I can't really take credit for those. And yeah, the progression definitely has a few rough spots, but the game rewards you pretty generously for pushing through them. Those who've made it all the way to the end know what I'm talking about. ;) Thanks a lot for playing and for your feedback!
@GoogleFrog Yeah, the weapon progression is definitely my Achilles' heel. By the way, am I right in thinking you're #1 on the leaderboard? How on earth did you manage to beat the game in just 47 minutes?!
@Shlolo Yeeeah, the machine gun → drone transition was one of the toughest design decisions I had to make. The problem was that the machine gun already felt like an endgame weapon, and I really needed to reward players with something crazy after all the suffering with the hand cannon. But the overall balance wouldn't let me keep the machine gun at the top of the weapon tree. So I took a bit of a gamble and introduced a completely different weapon mechanic that late in the game. And yeah, I can definitely see why it feels like a downgrade. I'll have to think about how to improve that.
I know Zeus already thanked you for beating the game, but it genuinely means so much to me that you made it all the way to the end. I just wanted to thank you again, personally! :)
most fun game I've played yet, it is really addictive and the art style is great :D

I really like the game! The movement, the feel, and especially the art are great! Every part of the game has a noticeable impact! Maybe the only problem I found is that the first stage is a little slow. I’d like to reach the mid-game much faster!
Anyway, I can’t imagine how much work you put into this! Nicely done!

I really like the fun of the game, sadly i never found any rubber or combustible, I went 3-4 floors up after planks/metal and did not found any new resources, it feels pretty strange to me. And I feel sad AI has been used to create the game, I feel like it has much personality and it didn't needed this! Congrats for your hard work

@dominikscholz Thank you so much for your comment! First of all, it really made my day. And second, thanks to you, I discovered the best game of this entire jam — yours!
@leandre00
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I admit I went a little overboard with the scope for a game jam.
@pipetto
@Fassenberg
Well, I wouldn't exactly call my game polished, but unlike my previous jam entries, I can actually say it's finished this time! Thanks for the feedback!
@Helgust Thanks! I deliberately made the very first steps painfully slow. First, it makes getting the bast shoes feel like a real upgrade. And second, when players start a new run, that slow movement reminds them just how far they've come — especially compared to the later stages, where the character moves at practically the speed of light!
@Vhalenn
Don’t feel sad! Without AI, I wouldn't have been able to make this game at all. I've been participating in Ludum Dare for over 8 years, and this is actually the first time I've managed to make a fully playable and polished game. To be honest, despite all the obvious downsides of AI, it's also a tool, that finally allowing me to bring my ideas to life without endlessly searching for programmers and trying to convince them to work with me.
As for the music, I completely agree. I really wish I could've worked with a human composer. I'm sure they would've made the game so much better.
@IndiePanda
Hahaha, sorry for wasting your time, and thanks for the feedback!

Graphics and music are really, really good. But sadly the gameplay felt very repetitive and got boring relatively fast. (Maybe I was playing with a wrong approach, I wanted to loot everything)

This is an interesting gameloop with a lot of potential. I like the visuals. Everything fits together and I like the work on the animations. :)
As some people mentioned the game was also too grindy for me (a lot of backtracking to the machine). Having more visual and audio feedback for getting hit or hitting enemies would also lift up the gameplay. The feedback was not strong enough for my taste.
I like how the character puts his ressources automatically into the machine and the chest looting felt also very smooth. I like the variety of enemies and ground "obstacles" like the mud. And the upgrade system was also implemented very well (dinosaur!). :)

Graphics and music were very polished. Seems like a full release game! Also I like the theme of progressing through the tech tree in a literal way, unlocking not only better weapons but more modern ones along the way. However, the gameplay was quite repetitive especially at the beginning. I think it serves no purpose to move so slow and have such limited inventory at initial stages. Also the gates mechanic expects you to gather large quantities of materials and bring them back to the machine which makes you retrace steps very often. The game has a lot of potential and fun progression but the start demands too much patience and grind of the player.

@pidifussel Thanks for the kind words! Sorry to hear the gameplay didn't quite click with you.
From what I can tell based on the comments and gameplay stats, quite a few players are getting pretty far into the game. Almost half of those who've played it have actually finished it, which takes over an hour and a half on average!
That said, the repetitive gameplay loop is definitely a real issue. I'll have to think about how to improve that in the post-jam version.
@LLlarsO To be honest, I'm actually an artist, and that's the role I've always taken in my previous game jams. This time, I came up with the entire game design, core mechanics, and balancing myself (not exactly my strongest skill, I'll admit). And I also made all the art — quite a lot of it, actually! I was drawing for 12–16 hours a day. :D
Thanks so much for the detailed feedback! I agree with all your points, and some of them are already on my list of things to improve after the jam.
And yes, inventing the dinosaur is one of my favorite moments in the game! Yet people still keep skipping the Humor category when rating it. 🆔
@Bertus Thank you so much for the feedback! You're absolutely right, and your frustrations seem to be shared by most players. I'm already thinking about how to address these issues!

@skigfx I really believe that just by improving the initial movement speed and inventory capacity, making less chests spawn but with more meaningful loot (meaning make less loot to collect overall) and a bit of level design you could have a great game in your hands! It's just a pity because the progression really feels nice, it's just that the journey to get there could do with a bit of polish. I liked your game nonetheless and hope you are able to fix those issues. Looking forward to hear more from this entry post-jam

String point for sure is the art style. I also enjoyed the sling mechanic instead of melee attacking and this gave nice tactical movement situations. Looting is always also fun so nicely done package!

This was very fun, and also, very long :) Glad I could experience it, I gave you a lot of feedback during the stream, top of my list would be a button/key [e] to chain down to Prometheus , accidentally flying back home near a progression point hurts the soul.
Overall the game was a pure delight, Zeus will never question my power again, and true to my disclaimers ahead of starting my stream "If I am having a good time, I keep playing" -Tiger

The art is great, the concept pretty cachy.
I will just say that the game did not feel very balanced, and end's up being quite frustrating when a hardly earned upgrade feels like a downgrade (for the weapon). I quit after having the grenade that made early level progressions harder that the machine gun.
But just a few tweaks here and there would have done the job. if the progression was more linear it would have suited me better! I would have preferred a shorter game, even if it meant for it to be a bit easier :)

Fun game with lovely pixel art!
Really interesting concept! As soon as I read the description, I had a feeling this game could be addictive. And I was right!
And the graphics are absolutely gorgeous!
The only downside I'd point out is the tedious grinding right from the start
Super cool game! The graphics are amazing, and I genuinely got addicted to playing it! Some parts could be a bit more comfortable and polished, but overall I had a great time. Nice work!
What a great game! I spent hours playing without even realizing it jaja! I found the art incredible, the character and vehicle designs, the color palette, just excellent work! It’s truly impressive for a game created by a single person xD. I’ve seen other comments mentioning issues with weapon progression, I have to say, that’s actually what led me to stop playing, as I reached a point where clearing each floor became tedious. But aside from that, I found it to be a really fun and spectacular game, great job! Sin título.jpg

definitively a gem! awesome entry! congrats! The only thing that I could mentions it's some weapons feel less effective after upgrading, the slower fire frequency forces you to slow down a bit what it's a bit frustrating.
