Verry funny, I love that everything has a face. It is a bit hard, and you kind of feel at the mercy of the terrain, but it's pretty nice nontheless.
Good luck on having the 20ratings!

Nice little game! But I see that you only have 3 ratings so far. I guess putting your nice title screen as the first picture instead of just the orange "Backpack Dungeon" would help. Pictures of the gameplay or a little GIF would also attract people. Right now you can't tell what this game is about (I know it is in the text, but people need some visuals).

To the game: It is a really relaxing game with clear visuals and a simple to understand gameplay.
Sometimes it feels a little too slow especially in the beginning.
I liked that you see your highscore at the end. Maybe make the "meter visual display" in the right upper corner a lot bigger, because I haven't noticed it.
The power up system by combining different pickaxes is a good idea and as a player you have to decide when you want to merge them. Congrats for finishing this game!
It was alright. Made for a decent game. Though if you want more people to look at it you'll want to start playing other's games.
Good job. The game is very addicting. I found myself playing quite a while until i reached the 100m mark. Love the facial expressions of the rocks. The Audio is also very fitting and chill.

Awesome game! Like the dude above, I found it really addicting. I would have liked if the merging bonus was stronger, but otherwise great game!
Well, I spent a lot more time than I expected on this game, trying hard to go deeper than the 63.5m I got many times but failed to get more… And I finally made it, I reached… 69.5m. So close to 70m  capture_LD56_Backpack_Dungeon.png I had fun playing this simple and original infinite strategical puzzle game - even if I needed a little time to understand how this is working - so, good job! PS: you really should play and rate some games in order to be ranked, your game is pretty cool and it would be so bad that you don't get rating for it PS2: …and I just understood that I played all this time, forgetting that I could merge some pickaxes… PS2bis: …so, using this information, my new record is 83.5m, which is way satisfaying.
this one is a great contender to make into a mobile game
Great concept! Took me a couple tries to understand that the picks would dig on their own and needed to be left alone to do so. Some sort of indicator about that would make this just a bit easier to comprehend quickly. Once I got the hang of it, I managed 80m. It's satisfying, and the chill music suits it nicely. If you keep developing this, I'd love to see more SFX - rock sounds or the picks making cute creaturey sounds, or additional powerups/items along the way.
Super fun and chill game! The cute rocka and pickaxes are great! Also, cool music! I got to 66.4m and I kind of wish there were some bonuses to get on the way, like dynamite, or temporary buff to pickaxe speed or damage. Maybe monster to defeat and have swords (or axes) to fight them in the same way as mining rocks with pickaxes? Anyway, great job with the game!

Cute game! I like the chill music and the click clack sound of the mining, and all the faces haha. I wonder how this can be expanded, maybe different types of pickaxes that mine in a different pattern? Or little temporary buffs you can pick up? Solid start either way!
Super chill to play, with relaxing music and simple, fun controls!
Great job! Nice visuals and nice idea! Keep making games!
I've been going back to this game for days now, and it's still as addictive to me as if I were playing it for the first time. Cute graphics, relaxing soundtrack, and understandable mechanics. It turned out really cool! I would love to install a game like this on my phone to kill time on the subway
This was a fun take on the backpack genre. I kept going trying to find out what else might be down there, and loved all the different stone critters.
Very addictive and cute game! :)
Thanks for submitting your game to the stream! If you wanted to watch it again in the future heres the vod of the stream (with a chapter for your game)
