Interesting take. Somewhere between an idle combiner and a husbandry game. Great job!
A very cool game! With a bit more refinement and adding more mechanics, it could be released on the Play Store or App Store. Great time-killer game, I really enjoyed it. Excellent work!
Interesting take on the theme with cookie cliker esque gameplay.
I was entertained for about 10-15 minutes. Nice work! The mechanics have a lot of longevity. Nice job splitting up and balancing the upgrades as well! Superb interpretation of the theme.
It's surprisingly addictive, Well done !
Really fun little idle game. I got down to 298nanometers, with 1 billion coins. Pretty easy to learn gameplay loop, but the upgrades and making the games money increase exponentially like that made it feel really well designed. Good job!
This was really addictive. I must've spent like 30 minutes playing it in the end. It's a really solid entry and for half a day the quality is genuinely insane. The UI and art all look like a professionally done mobile game. So for one person to make that in 12 hours is incredibly impressive. Great job!
Nice idea! Also with the addition of the shop and limitations of the game definitely a nice progression. I'd love to see a bit more feedback on which creature(s) are the babies of the breeding and perhaps some nice and easy to use mechanic to compare sizes between the creatures but definitely a game that is nice to play! Solid work :-)
O, selective breeding the game—I love the concept and got hooked on the loop of breeding and selling my creatures. I would gladly see it on mobile and play it in short sessions while waiting for the bus.
Fun take on an incremental game. It's a polished entry, and I like the original way to interact with the incremental element (although it gets a bit annoying as you start having a lot of creatures). The visuals stay coherent throughout, which is a plus in a jam. Cool stuff !
Very simple game, I think it will appeal to those who like monotonous cute games. Yes, these monsters are very cute, I like how they change colors over time :) I'm really interested if you're a mobile game developer, because the interface of this game is very mobile to me :) I think to be able to fully try this game at jam, it would be necessary to reduce the cost of upgrades.
A bit of artificial selection. And boy were those some tiny creatures.
Fun incremental kind of game (except I guess its reverse incremental). What youve got here was fun to play although theres not much variety with things which ends up getting a bit repetitive (especially since theres no way to see all the progress youve made as the background and size scales with you from the upgrades)
Left it running for a bit and I think I went a bit overkill

Also Wanted to ask if youre fine with me using gameplay from the game in this LDs [score chasers tournament](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/56/$405421/ludum-dare-score-chasers-qualification-begins) intermission video. (Would play in the breaks of the tournament on my stream). Last year for reference https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YuddhZScWxo
Hi @Ategon,
Nice to see you here on my little game!
I only started working on this game Monday at around noon maybe 13 hours total... Just so I wouldn't loose my 12 LD streak. So there was no time to add more variety.
I wanted to add some reference images and different backgrounds. E.g. bacteria viruses molecules atoms so that one gets a better sense of the current scale, but again no time :(
Yes it always stops at 5.61E-30 fm, I guess that is the smallest value a float in unity can represent, and I have non zero and non negative protection in the code so then it just stops. But I think you have now officially created the tiniest creature in the whole tiny creature game jam. Congrats :medal:
And for sure you can use it for Score chasers :)
Lol. My favorite part of the game is collecting the rarest and coolest caterpillars. I initially tried to keep two colonies - one for collection and one for sale, but there was too little space, so I...
Simply destroyed the collection for sale... And focused on breeding cool, but cheap caterpillars.
The game has interesting potential. Its more like Tycoon.
Graphics are charming and very polished. Like... I had a feeling that I was playing a popular and cool game, lol
Sounds are normal, nothing too special.
Had fun, so. Isnt it enough for a good game? :v_tone3:
I got some strange red, purple and pink species.
Feels like idle game except there's a need to manage or breed creatures most of the time. That being said, I wish the creatures look smaller than this to represent the theme. Also there should be warning when player attempts to breed when max number has been reached.
