The cats are in their boxes. All's right with the world. The threatening unsheathing of the tape measure is top.

Awesome, unique idea! I'm going to go get a measuring tape and play IRL. fun game!
Sounds like a neat concept, however trying to run the WebGL version gives me a 404
@grizeldi Thanks for letting me know! I uploaded the Windows version today and accidentally put it in the embeds section which messed it up. Fixed it!
I enjoyed playing this game. All cats are in their boxes now! Great job :)
Hey, this might help some people who are apprehensive about downloading games but are having issues with CTRL+W. You can bypass the problem by using Firefox instead of Chrome. Make sure the game is the only tab open in the browser window, then right click on the tab at the top and 'pin' it... this will make sure that CTRL+W will not close the window.
This fix doesn't work in Chrome unfortunately.
Game was very fun to play. Definitely reminds me of one of our cats who is pretty antisocial!
Really neat idea for a game!
so cute! You guys managed to do a lot with the art, and the game was fun to play. I had a panic moment when a cat was in the middle of knocking over something, but the trashcan was full! Good use of audio too which made it easier to keep track of the cats. Great job!

For real, this game is HILARIOUS. Despite being all janky and unpolished the game is SO FUN. How the hell did you guys come up with MEASURING YOUR CAT as a mechanic. And oh my god, I won't spoil but the cats in the last level are so funny, I completely lost it. Great game, congrats guys. As someone who owns cats, what an experience.
@vykri it works now, however, it refuses to load in firefox, I had to switch to chrome for it to work.
There is something surreal about chasing down a png of a cat down the hallway with measuring tape in hand. However, I still wish you went with proper 3D models, as I feel like it would make the game work a lot better as a 3D game.
i was powerless to watch all those vases break before my eyes,,, all the cats(?) were very cute! and i liked my dungeon? only took me 2928.88 :,) im like 90% sure i bought a flatscreen tv for.. the one "cat"... and then i ordered headphones before removing the box from the front door and it disappeared lol, all that money down the drain :,)
The game was pretty fun. The ability to push the cats around after boxing them was an excellent touch.
@maxds98 @tofucat @eric-nguyen @joaopbax @freakman Thank you all so much for playing. Glad you enjoyed it! Nice to hear some people are able to finish the game.
Haha, I'm happy I found your game! At first the game idea doesn't sound interesting at all but the loop is pretty good. Seems like 72 hours wasn't enough but you did a great job! The levels scaled nicely by including more cats and the limited amount of bins were a great idea as a punishment for a bad purchase. The pointlessness of the purchases and having to bin them was hilarious too :D
FEEDBACK I think the gameplay was too easy. I suggest adding wait time for the deliveries of items (i think it would fit the theme better too and it would also encourage the player to look for the biggest cat). The cats were more sensitive to being measured while throwing down vases. I think this would only work if you had the cats not interested in the vases while measuring them (if you're measuring the cat and it jumps to the vase it makes no sense to stop measuring, the vase is lost anyway) MORE LEVELS!!!! <- don't take that seriously i know it's tough to level design in such a short period ^^
Personal favorites: Catgirl & Dog <- I would add to the nonsensical theme and have an iron walking around too or something hahaha
AMAZING JOB!!!
so cute and so enrages Screenshot from 2023-05-03 01-08-22.png
its pretty chaotic but thats what makes it so good, totally hilarious
also after i finished lvl 3 it crashed? or maybe it just closed itself once i finished (i played it in chrome)
ANYWAY AMAZING GAME SO SPECIFIC WTF
Loved the images in a 3d world, the cats are really cute, loved the one with a hoodie
really cool! loved to see that other games went with the cat aestethic aswell, had fun, the cats and the products were hilarious!!
@mrhelo @diccuric-sigeon Thanks for playing! 72 hours definitely wasn't enough haha.
@elisagonda Were you perhaps playing in browser and pressed Ctrl+W? Unfortunately, that key combination closes tabs in browser, so you can't crouch and walk forward. There are 4 levels and an end screen after that, so it shouldn't have crashed. Thanks for giving it a try!
@vykri could be! thank you, im for sure playing it again :sunglasses:
Hilarious and frustrating in just the right amounts. The controls were a little sensitive for my taste, but each time I boxed a cat I was delighted. Loved it
This is amazing, I didnt think I'd enjoy fitting cats in boxes so much. Kept forgetting what the measurements of the cats were and had to chase them again to confirm the number. Sound effects are totally on point.
This game is hilarious, I loved every minute of it! Great job!
HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHA this game is so so good. Extremelly fun idea and very well executed congratulations!
The catgirl should've said nya smh
I liked this game a lot! It's very game jam-ey where it's just escalating weirdness and 1000 mechanics. It's a lot of fun! I wonder what the lowest cost could be.
Wow, this game is very cool. I like how you approached the theme of the jam. The game's premise is excellent. Gameplay is solid, graphics are original and readable. The biggest advantage of the game is definitely humour; I chuckled when I realised that you are actually throwing contents of packages in the trash. I like how the flat opens up while you progress and trashcans become full - the game doesn't feel meaningless thanks to that. I'd love to see more advanced movement mechanics tho (strafing in cats measuring game???).
I helped the cats, I have fulfilled my purpose. It's so much fun running around, trying to get those little dorks contained before they do more damage. The progressively more absurd cat sprites were a lot of fun, and the whole concept is hilarious! I would have liked to see a slightly steeper difficulty curve and maybe another final level with extreme challenge. Why are my cats so antagonistic? Great game!!
oh man, having cats in your game is almost a cheat code, adorable and great entry! Great humor and sounds The only remark is that I had an issue where I ordered a TV and had no box at the front door, looked literally everywhere but wasn't able to find it and had to restart since the TV was the only fitting box :c
Gotta love the writing in this one. You guys really nailed the humor! The big ass TV is huge, but at least it's expensive! :)

Finally, a real video game!
Todd and Amanda sure were unexpected friends to meet... alongside Blahaja, lol. I managed to only spend $773.91! I kind of wish the cats had a box collider or something, it was really hard to press 'E' on them with the boxes but throwing the boxes at them seemed like it should have worked great, lol. Fun game!
@papabirb Only $773? I think that's the lowest I've seen so far. Not sure what the lowest possible is, but if not that, it's pretty close!
You know it's going to be a good game when there are fluffy buddies involved. I thought the concept of this game was hilarious and unique. Each time a vase broke I found myself muttering in frustration just like I would be doing in a real life scenario with my cat breaking something. I agree with @recursor that the controls are a bit sensitive for my taste, but that is totally just personal preference. Nice job, you should be proud!
@alec Thanks for the kind words! You can actually adjust the sensitivity via the options menu with either tab, backspace, or escape. Thanks for playing!
@vykri Wow, I assumed it was a mid-level score lol! I even bought a box that was .1 inch too short lol, so it's certainly not a perfect score
And for the vibe of pics or it didn't happen: firefox_2romzfqYW1.png
This game might have screen tearing and jpegs instead of real cats but you can measure them and put them into boxes so I don't care. 10/10 jam winner right there.
such great humor and a fun way to interpret "delivery". yall really thought outside the box haha
Fun, with humor and with a interesting use of theme.
Congratulations!
