Pretty fun game
Once you buy an upgrade the UI gets a bit cluttered and not easy to remember the details - a little reminder or a larger-scale overview could help a lot with that
It take a long time to get evolutions (du to lack of money) I think it need some balancing, because some things are not understandable like, I thought that blues orbs are money, but I get it that it's life with my last upgrade before finish, because before that, I was one shot by everything... Also, mobs evolves, but I think it's overkill that ALL theirs stats evolve, maybe some have to be low (like, if an ennemy is speedy and deal high damages it has low health etc) but I understand that is to avoid the player to just flees until the end of countdown. But I think you can easily improve it ! (and, I stay till the end, soooo, that's a good game ! ;) )
I like the idea, the sound and graphics are simple but do the job quite well !
For farming coins and upgrading your character - good!
It need balancing, especially at the first levels where it is sooo sloooooooow but i had fun later on and finished the game!
The game looks nice, but I don't really understand how to play. My guy was barely shooting and all I could do was just die repeatedly. I like the upgrading idea, but it would've been nice if the game started a little more.. action-packed.
The visual effect looks so decent! I really enjoy your game loop that I could upgrade myself upon my death. The Audio of the enemies approaching me feels so realistic since they are coming close to my step by step lmao. Nice Job!
Interesting idea. I found the audio to be pretty off-putting, but the gameplay was good. The camera shakes around when the character dies.
Good game overall the idea is nice and simple, one thing is maybe a bit more explonation on how the abilities work, did not get how assasiation works, and maybe you better turn on perspective shift from the start, i always want to see more it is an unnecessary button press
Pretty fun! I like the buy system, and wondering how the next options will turn out kept me hooked until I completed the game.
Art-wise, I am not a fan of the color scheme you have--mostly grey background, heavily saturated red enemies, a desaturated orange player character.
Feels like a solid base that needs some more love and you have yourself something good.
i kinda would like to be able to rotate the camera
I beat the game! A few thoughts on how to improve it: - The start of the game is really slow. In general making sure the player can get upgrades on their first couple runs and then making it take a couple runs for later upgrades works pretty well, but this game has the opposite going. Once I started getting to the larger creatures I was rolling in money, but the initial upgrades felt like a slog. - The audio is pretty grating - The blue orbs seemed basically not worth using. I beat the game with only one health upgrade, and by the time I got hit I was basically about to die, so topping up on health didn't really help me. I spent the first few runs trying to get them before realizing they didn't help me at all that early on, and then basically ignored them the rest of the game.
very good mechanics, I liked the SUS characters very much xd. Great job!
At first it was a little bit unfair and slow, but the game became super fast and satisfying after a couple of upgrades. So satisfying, in fact, that I wanted to continue playing after I’ve beaten the game)
At first, I was just grinding for points, but after a while, I had too many points up to a point where the game cut to a "thanks for playing" screen and didn't let me get all the upgrades. Maybe have a way for the player to rotate the camera, it's hard to see what's behind me and there's a chance of getting jumped by a stray enemy. I had fun playing it nevertheless. Good job!
wasd.png Tough and a tad confusing at first but when I understood that points carried over after death I did my best to try to master everything! Simple and straight forward with the shop system but folks that don't read into things like that might not get it at first! If I had to comment on anything else the sounds were a tad repetitive maybe if when the enemies got stronger a different sound indicating that specific mob spawn or death!
Innovational game idea
Cool concept. Reminds me of games like Hill Climb Racing, where you have to repeatedly play the game to upgrade your character to get even better score - which is precisely the concept used in this one. Sounds are actually horrible for long-term gameplay and I muted it after one minute. But the rest seems pretty fine - graphics are simplistic and uniform and execution of the gameplay formula is nice. I actually enjoyed playing it from the beginning to end (although got little bit frustrated couple of times). Nice job.
By the way, I think I died and finished the game at the same time: winwin.jpg
The game starts very tough but after a few upgrades each upgrade makes it much easier. I only wish I could continue playing after I won, I still got some upgrades I didn't have the chance to try. If you can get past the initial frustration, it can get quite addictive.
Something about the enemy sound scares me xD. I like the upgrade structure. Starts out with you basically unable to do anything which is a little confusing but still a cool game!
This was a lot of fun! The way the enemies level up and become much more hostile is genuinely terrifying. The upgrades felt meaningful and not too expensive, so leveling up felt really good. I never really got to use the rampage mechanic though, since I was mostly running away from enemies. Great job!
Nice and fun game
