Neat little game. Enjoyed the music and the SFX. Well done!
This game is so good! PLEASE make a full release! This is the best game that I have played so far, and I NEED more. 11/10
Really clever take on the theme! The opponent's card play can be a bit fast, but there aren't many cards, so that's not a huge issue. Nice game!
10/10 love card games! Could not beat infinity, but after the LD I'll revisit this one :D
Great jam submission! I love how fluid the deck and drawing cards mechanics were. Worked very well for such little time. I could have used more visual feedback (buttons, effects) to know when I needed to end my turn or had clicked a button. The music was a little simple as well, but overall, I enjoy the game.
Cool sound and mood! Could see myself playing a game like this for a while. I haven't played a roguelike deckbuilding game before, so this was a first for me!
Great game! Had a limited number of cards to work with, but even with a few cards made a couple of really cool combos. I really also liked how you get to the "end" =) Good touch to finish off the game. Really solid submission overall!
This game is pretty good!! I just missed a better feedback when is my turn to play. Anyway, good job and a great card game
Excellent, it was fun and simple to play. The white corners of the cards could be transparent to look a little more like actual cards. The music was a good choice for being hypnotic.
This Game is ABSOLUTLY remarkable! The art stile is amazing and I found myself playing for A long time XD I did find that when I win it would be very easy but other than that the art is good and so is the game idea! Cant wait for more
Update I finally beat the Game. Again, great entry!
Interesting game play, I thought I had it after I won my first two rounds, but then it had me! Nice!
You all are too kind. Thank you!!
Haven't beat it yet but I'll definitely come back to play! Even with a limited number of cards it was engaging and the music really contributed to the mood :)
Very clean and well put together. It's very crisp from the art to the card movements and sound. Has a lot of potential to expand as a larger game.
All the sounds and animations felt super tight, and I loved the theme. Dark Expanse OP!!
@quite-good Thank you! Yeah Dark Expanse actually used to create 3 copies, so i'm glad we dialed it back lol
Cool little game. It would be nice if the starter deck had a bit more variety. Seemed like the second level's (or random opponent) deck was made to counter it or something.
This is a great little game with a great, innovative execution of the theme. Good sound too.
Nice card game, I think you made the best of it with the number of cards atm. Good mechanics and animations (cards flying around). The artwork could be a little more consistent and the music loops gets annoying after a while. Good job!
Fantastic game! That gameplay loop is great, and the synergy between the different card effects was immensely satisfying. The art on the cards is also incredibly solid. I did kind of feel starved for energy once I had a sizeable deck, but overall the mechanics were really well designed in my opinion. One of my favourite games of the jam so far for sure. Nice work.
Nice concept.
Sound is good. There is a nice mood to the game. I'm sure the overall cocnept could be refined further and taken the extra mile. I got caught into it against my will.
The upgrading / shop is a nice touch, to make cards feel less of a random mess by introducing them slowly, nice touch.
I found the combo! Nice way to beat an infinite opponent  I think I made the connection on my third visit to the card shop, after I had already bought a few mind's floods and I was like - oh that will trigger mind's flood. Wait a minute ... :open_mouth:
It would be really nice if you could show me the entire card for each of my passive cards instead of just the name of the card. Even better would be if the passive cards highlight briefly whenever they trigger, which would also make the eventual combo more satisfying. I forget which is which based on name, but I knew that I wanted a 3 card combo so I just made sure to have 3 different names in front of me.
There were a few times that I clicked end turn and waited a few seconds to realize it had not worked. I think it might be something like ignoring the end-turn button while animations are in progress, but it's pretty common for me to want to play a card and then end turn immediately after.
The regular matches were a bit simple and grindy, since there isn't too much depth to just choosing which mill card to play, but the game is short enough that I think this is fine.
I see what you've done here. Have to try to beat the Infinite, I suppose. Cool atmosphere, enjoyed the cosmic dark-ish mood. Thanks!
@almost Amazing feedback! Thanks for playing :)
I played your game on my stream today and I managed to beat the infinity. Thanks for the suggestion that you actually can do it, it was rewarding to find a way for that. This was actually a kind of scary way to delay the inevitable. Perhaps it would be better to die than to wait for eternity for the opponent never finish. It was a really clever ending!
In the card game itself I like that it was just that. A card game, like e.g. MTG. I found art on cards to be very fitting into the Cosmos theme. The only thing that confused me at the beginning was the concept of "energy", might as well be "add one more move to a turn" or something similar.
Overall, great job! :black_joker:
@haayaargh It was me who was in your stream around lunch today. I was really happy to see how you figured out the puzzle. I'll send the VOD around to my friends who worked on this game with me. Thanks again for the stream.
Nice take on the card game. As someone who also made a card game for the jam, card games are not easy to make during a game jam if you do not yet have an engine for card game.
Honestly, when I saw the combination at the card shop, I immediately wonder why the OP combo exists. When I saw the infinity deck, I immediately knew why.
Congrats on the submission.
