I cannot play the game. The link is not working. When I click to open in a new tab it opens and closes immediately. Looks good in the image tho.

I Liked the game play. Good Work. (The link has a problem. I had to copy the URL to another tab to make the download)
I found the platforming suuuper fun and addictive! Great job! and I love the music and art style as well! Wish I could understand what the voice lines at the game over screen meant XD
@pablo-lario, Chrome doesn't like the "http" link I think, try to right-click > save as.
Thanks for the comments @tron and @diharaw94 :) Feel free to submit your score !
The voices are in Guadeloupe Creole, we wanted to reproduce the same "exotic" feeling as when you play a game with Japanese voices.
I'm not even good at this game and I still love it. The art style is great and it combines pixel art with 3D very well. PlayStation light bar support is an extremely nice touch. Maybe it's just me, but I think the game gets easier after the first bit when it starts giving you a bunch of wild cards. IDK I think I wanted to say something else but forgot lol
I can't play the game! When i downlaod the zip and try to extract it, i get an error!
@chesschaser that's strange, we investigate. If you are more details it could help us. Maybe an issue with the compression tool.
We will post a webgl version in few days, it works but with some missing of vfx and post process :(
Edit: it works with 7zip but indeed we have the same problem with the native Windows unzip tool. We will update a new version with a more universal zip compression algorithm.
Edit 2, it's fixed, whe change de zip compression method.
The gameplay is addictive and greatly mixes platform and puzzle mechanics. Graphics and level design are okay. The music stuck in my head. I personally prefer when we don't need to keep a direction when we use the wall jump but i get used to it very quickly. I would have like that Stomp use a larger area than the character collision.
I got the same problem with a corrupted archive. Great game that respects the theme!
I downloaded it twice and I could not play it, the game opens but does not start, it does not allow to click on any button. A shame, the game caught my attention for the art!
@emaigualmc2-art the mouse is disabled in game, you have to use the arrow keys/spacebar or the gamepad to navigate in the menu. Sorry for the inconvenience
The character feels to slow for such kind of game. And in the beginning, when player is unfamiliar with the concept, the game feels too fast.
But the very concept is cool.
Original concept, it reminds me a lot of some of the games from LD41 as the theme back then was "Combine 2 incompatible genres" which would fit this game perfectly. It's a bit hard to manage both the platforming and match 3, but that's what makes the game fun. The graphics are really nice, and I liked the diversity not only in backgorunds but also random effects (rain & all).
A few small issues imo : - There's a delay between a 'cube' disappearing from the top half and it appearing in the bottom half. - The camera change/halves size change are sometimes too sudden. - While the in game music and sfx, it's a bit disappointing not to have any sounds in the menu or the 'tutorial' intro. - The stomp wasn't easy to use, as you have to hold Down before pressing Space + if you're next to a wall it triggers wall jump. Having a simple button press for stomp would have felt better, and would allow for more reactive stomping.
Wall movement was a pleaseant surprise!
Very nice game, cool concept and very unique. The graphics looked very good, only nitpicking that i have is that the slime looks like its in a jar when it lands since the sides just stops on a line. The sounds and music were very good. Overall a really creative and cool game.
I love the idea of a platformer plus block clearing game. The intro stage as tutorial works well. Cool design for the colored blocks.
Wow, this is a really clever idea! I love the dynamic of having two games on screen at once, and having them interact so fluidly. I'm not great at match-3 games, but I still had a lot of fun with this one. Great work!
Great job ! Very fun and engaging ! :)
Tense as hell!
An excellent mix of two styles!
Fun, delicious and challenging!
Gorgeous graphics reminiscent of SNES and a very immersive soundtrack!
Congratulations!
What a great game ! The combination of these two genres works perfectly, the art looks good and the audio is catchy, very polish works ! I'm in love with the character's animation and bonus for the mouth made sounds :D
Incredible idea for mixing two genres. Personally, I was terrible at it since I needed almost all of my attention for the platforming side and couldn't pay attention to the block puzzle aspect much at all, let alone use that information to inform how I jumped. For sure someone will be great at this and I'll be glad to watch them play, but that person's not gonna be me. :stuck_out_tongue:
Great art, fluid animation. I loved the slime's movement especially. Platforming felt pretty responsive, but on keyboard it was hard for me to be precise. I also had to spend so much time trying to stay alive that I never really figured out how to incorporate stomp (but thats on me).
I don't think I've seen that combination ever before, congratulations on the novel idea! Also nice work making it actually work, the platforming feels just right and I love how your play area shrinks if you don't pay attention to the match 3 part. Good work all around!
Loved the idea! Not so easy to manage both the platform and puzzle parts, but it's funny enough to make us stick to it and try hard. The stomp mechanic is really hard to handle though, it took me several minutes at the very beginning to find out how to break the first blocks! In my opinion, pressing down while being on air should be sufficient and more natural. Anyway, good game, congrats!
Whoah, thats a really good hybrid of platforming and match 3 and the graphics are nice. Whats the language I'm hearing in game? just curious. Good job yall!
That was so cute, and very fun. Found I wasnt reading the text on screen, and didnt know what they were saying. But kept jumping as far as I could anyway.
Thank you all for your positive feedback ! :tada:
@fabioecco The language is Creole from Guadeloupe.
Nice game! Really intriguing concept, though I was a little too preoccupied with not dying to be very good at the matching part
The game feel is fantastic and the platforming mechanics are really polished, I even noticed you added coyote time (or at least it feels like so). Sounds and graphics are cool too, I like the idea of the blocks being 3D.
To be completely honest, I didn't pay much atention to the lower part of the screen during my games  I kind of understand the mechanic, but once you are playing your brain is fully dedicated to the platforming, but I guess this would improve as I get better and better. Maybe having less types/colors of blocks at the beginning would help in this regards.
Apart from that, congratulations! Very solid entry, I hope you get high scores
(Oh I forgot, the itch.io page looks gorgeous too, congrats!)
Super clever game and incredibly well polished. It's really good that you got a leaderboard system in there as that encouraged me to keep trying over and over again. I felt like the jumping was a bit floaty but other than that it was really good!
Very much fun to play and get really into it, ton of effort and polish put into it on multiple fields.
Really like the polish and attention to detail put into this, especially the tutorial area and how the game slowly introduced concepts. The game also looks beautiful!
I think this idea has a lot of potential and I'd love to see what else you guys can do with it. Great work! :)
