The mind entering mechanic is a super cool idea, I would have like if enemies you made friends would have followed you around afterwards, I also had some trouble finishing the game, but overall this was really fun and you did some really nice work!

Deeper and deeper into the head. A very fun game!

The concept is really cool, but in my experience it was easier to just kill them all myself, as the AI would often get stuck shooting at enemies behind rocks

Retro FPS meets Psychonauts? I can dig that!

While rough on the edges, the concepts introduced here were fascinating. Taking the route of just defeating enemies is easy, but there's something satisfying about taking your time to enter their minds and fight to make them switch to your side, specially when the inside of the mind looks almost literally like inside a cranium.
Wish there had been some time to implement being followed by your allies and such, since that'd add value to converting them over just killing them. But for what it is, I'd say it's a good jam entry, and here's hoping you have chances to either update it or use the practice you got here to make more good stuff in the future! I hope you had fun working on it! 🐳
The game is great. It's nice to see how original people interpret the theme of jam. It was unexpected to understand that you can immerse yourself in the mind of enemies who are already inside the mind and so on ad infinitum. It would be great to see a different gameplay in mind so that there is a bigger difference between the playstyles. Good job anyway
I preferred to kill enemies rather than control their mine since it's faster to do, and yes as @kel said, it would have been great if controlled enemies followed you. Otherwise nice jam entry !

A really original interpretation of the theme!
Interesting game. Couldn't really see the health count since there was a permanent blood splat near the top. Didn't seem to be worth taking over the enemies since it took a large amount of time, compared to just shooting them.

Quite a good game with an interesting idea. However, the sensitivity of the mouse is too high, so I set it to the very minimum. But still great work!

Cool idea with going into enemies minds
This is a really sick game! I loved what you guys did with the concept. I wish that when I was in the mind palace that there was maybe something more from preventing me to just run behind the enemies to touch the crystal, maybe you have to kill them all before you are able?

Had fun clearing the demons from peoples minds and making them a good person again. Got a little bit repetitive but overall fun time. Thanks for the game.

Hey, I liked the concept but found a major bug a little game breaking: mouse sensitivity raises as hell a few seconds after the game starts and it is nearly impossible to decide where to face. Apart from that The idea to enter characters mind is nice, thus should be boosted to give a wider game experience. Nice job! :)

Thanks to everyone for playing, rating and commenting! Really appreciated. I agree with everyone who thought the mind-control wasn't balanced well.
@leggy That's worrying. Is that even after adjusting the slider?
@divagated Thanks for the feedback! The bloodsplat is supposed to be offscreen, which, admittedly, it isn't in either build, but it doesn't cover the HP bar for me. Which version did you play?
@moski Thank-you so much for the in-depth critique! High praise indeed, since your game is absolutely amazing.
Interesting Inception like mechanic.... I'm a little troubled that all of them eventually have little Satans inside their head....
After you capture enemies it would be nice if they actively walk around to help you.
Good job and fun interpretation of the theme!

@divford unfortunately yes, on Web version. Can't try windows.
I couldnt get it working on brave browser, but works fine in chrome.(many unity games have the same problem but not all, maybe it needs to be exported different way to get it working on brave)... but the game looks good, feels like it has actually multiplayer features available.
Cool concept. I found the controlls a little bit finicky at some points, but overall good. I also found the hopping in their minds, while a cool idea, in practice just felt like a less eficiant way to win. Overal good job. :D

Cool game! Fun idea and quite well executed in this short time.
I liked the jumping in to their minds-thing, although I once fell below the ground and was stuck there looking at their feet.
Hope you get the time to make it the game you wanted to do! (we all fight the time constraint-thing... :-/ )
I did not hack a single mind, alas.

Finally see a FPS game in this Jam! I like your way to interprete the theme. The only issue is, I have no crosshair when playing the game, and the mouse cursor is always visible though I pressed Esc, I guess it's a bug?

Cool concept! Although I found it hard to enter minds without taking damage... But maybe I am just bad, who knows :D
This was such a great take on the theme :D
Great job, an FPS with multiple levels! The enter mind feature worked for me. If there are multiple enemies shooting at me I tend to take control of the first one, to make sure I get less flak from the others. The "mind" level would benefit from more variety.

Impressive amount of content and variety of enemies/AI. Nice game over screen too, not enough of them in jam games anymore :) I also was reminded of Psychonauts immediately (the bull in enemies' minds especially). Due to the lack of vertical mouse input, the controls might make more sense all on the keyboard, similar to original Doom and DOS-era FPS games. I found myself strafing to align myself with enemies because it was easier than rotating the player.
Great concept, and the entering mind mechanic is a nice touch. Controls felt a little _off_ for me, but I think it was due to not being able to look vertically?
Great job!

Whoa! I've never seen a game that does this. This was so cool lol. I loved that you could go into the minds of the enemies in the mind. That was great. Main things would be art, bullets, and a reticule. I started getting nausious too for some reason too, not sure if from the game?
FPS in the browser. I like it :D
i think the first person aspect needs a lot of work but theres something interesting here. reminds me of like a doom(1993)/psychonauts mash-up. i think if you could gather a huge group of allies that could make for some battles. or when having enemies fight their own allies it caused some internal distress which then made it easier to take over their mind, i think that would really help juice the central idea
I think having shooting be less of a coplanar affair would be nice, but otherwise it's pretty fun.
