Great entry! It was a ton of fun to run around and collect treasure, and the mood was on point! A few of the encounters I had down in the deep really got my heart pumping haha!

I enjoyed your game. It was really peaceful drifting along, until I encountered unfriendly sea-life. The controls were fun and it felt like I was floating. I had forgotten what key fired torpedoes when I first needed them, so perhaps a reminder might be nice. Really like your art style and use of color.
Solid controls and concept! Having to hold down 'E' to collect resources was satisfying. The water level of the area matching up to that of the region on the map was a nice attention to detail. Having some upgrades or something to buy besides more torpedos would be nice.
Nice game! The graphics and the mood are on point!
This was neat! I really liked exploring the different areas of the map.
I like that the fish followed me. Movement was satisfying too.
Once I figured out the controls it was pretty fun to collect things in the sub! Good movement on the player controller, too, nice SUBmission ha.
very noice! I like sea games, water you think of them?
Really cool game, those tiny fish were annoying lol but blasting them was fun :)
Definitely a cool concept, I found it not very engaging without a clear idea of what my final goal was. Was I supposed to collect a certain amount? Visit all the areas? If there was a "main goal" I didn't see it.
Graphics were good, as was the sound (some music would have been good).
I think the gameplay would benefit from a touch more explanation (what the goal is, the fact that treasure floats and you can go back to collect it, that torpedos go where your mouse is, etc).
Overall neat idea, with some polish and a clear goal I could see this being a really fun game!
the waves are pretty good. And the flashlight. Dunno what the light cone is for, but it looks cool.
Nice prototype! Could be an enjoyable game here with some progression and risk-reward balancing.
Charming graphics and solid controls! It was a bit difficult to know friend from foe, though. Cool game, keep it up!
I had fun with the game, I thought the graphics were good and the controls are very good
I just missed a background music and thought I might have something else to buy, like more life or more stock
The controls felt really nice and the bombs felt very satisfying. Would lived to have had some more sound and player feedback, especially when aiming a torpedo. Other than that, great submission!
***Thanks for all the feedback!***
The stuff that made it in for the jam seems to be on the right track, so I'm thinking about building this concept into a complete game.
Addressing jam feedback is a great first step, and I'll compile the most requested changes into a nice table.

Glad you liked it, getting the looting to feel good was a big focus. My vision involved high-energy encounters with weird fish monsters, so I'm glad a bit of that got in.

Thanks! Good colors were key, since there are no outlines in the game. Perhaps the button for torpedoes could be on screen next to your torpedo count?

Nice to hear those mechanics worked out. Sounds like you explored a few areas.
> Having some upgrades or something to buy besides more torpedos would be nice.
For sure, the plan was for the ship, submarine and torpedoes to all be upgrade-able. What else might be fun to buy?

Thanks! Mood is important.

> This was neat! I really liked exploring the different areas of the map.
Glad you liked it. I think there's a lot more potential for variety in the areas, such as caves and reefs.

Nice, the movement was a big focus. Those fish wanted a bite!

Ha
The instructions for the controls were the last thing I had time for, so there's much to be improved there. Glad that the movement and looting felt good.

Gotta fish deep to fathom why someone wouldn't.

Thanks, making the smaller ones fly farther was worth it.

Excellent feedback, you've given me a lot to work with.
> Definitely a cool concept, I found it not very engaging without a clear idea of what my final goal was. Was I supposed to collect a certain amount? Visit all the areas? If there was a “main goal” I didn’t see it.
Yeah, you're right: I focused on look & feel during development over a having complete-able game, hoping I would have time to add that. Of course, this only assured no formal goal made it into the jam version.
As it stands, it's more of a looting experience and strange fish safari. Next time I think I'll start with the outline and scope of the game. Fully rough draft it before building up.
> Graphics were good, as was the sound (some music would have been good).
Agreed on the music. How was the volume level for the sound effects?
> I think the gameplay would benefit from a touch more explanation (what the goal is, the fact that treasure floats and you can go back to collect it, that torpedos go where your mouse is, etc).
Good point. I'll add these.

Very fun and cute game! The gamefeel of controls is good and smooth and the boost is cool. Great job!
Neat little game. I liked the simple colors and shapes for all the art (though the fish look a bit strange). The game feel here is really good, firing the torpedoes and looting feel especially satisfying to do.
I like the concept of the flashlight but I wish you leaned into it more by having dark areas where it's your only source of light. Also as others have said there currently isn't much of a goal for the player so it fizzles a bit once you do a few mines.
That said, I think this is a very strong foundation and there's a lot of places you can take it from here, nice job!
Controls felt smooth and I really liked the sound effect that played when scanning/pointing at the treasure. The map was a nice addition in combination with the fact that the tile selected effected the depth of the level itself. Like the others have already pointed out tho, there could have been more explanation at the beginning and a clear goal to work towards, but overall a solid entry.
