Very intense for me haha! The visual feedback feels great and the music fits well with the aesthetic. Well done! The dialogue in the beginning was good. It was a lot of text so maybe breaking it up into smaller dialogue would make it that much better.

Ah!!! I'm such a sucker for idle clicker games. Once I realized it was going to be one, it was too late! I was sucked in. I love the humor and tone of the world. Love the story unfold with the job/workplace. You really are in the "rat race". Love the choice of office sounds.

Ok I really need to prepare my comment for this one, because it was a freaking amazing!
I will start with the the most positive thing and that is humor. I gave you straight 5* and would have given you 10 if I could. I literally laughed from the start to the end. I was laughing so hard the very first second the game loaded. The Ginea pig guy and his "voice" just killed me. Also the whole tone of the game, the little funny details such as "ratmazon.com" and my most favorite "rat bull". The character design and the dialogues are just straight up hilarious. Amazing office satire.
Now to be proper and useful, I also need to add some negative feedback as well. The only negative I would maybe change was the amount of "clicks" you needed to do between the rounds. Those 5000 were a lot. I mean it would be cool if this was a full time idle mobile game, but because it is a Ludum Dare game, when people can spend only a few moments, I would make it faster just for the sake of Ludum Dare effectivity. But that is just a small price for such amazing experience :) Thank you for that.

We tried to aim for a game experience of ~7minutes, so we balanced the prices toward that number. We were hoping people would be hooked enough at the final stage to see it through and would be able to hire a bunch of extra rats.

For some reason it took me a good minute before I realized this was even a clicker game! It was a fun surprised for me. Great game, really fun. The voices were perfect and the game was nicely polished.

Oh frick. You found my only wekness, a combination of cute mice and clicker-games. I LOVE this. If my wife hadent been telling me it´s time for bed, I would have been clicking away all trought the night. Onderfull game.

Nice one, lost it at the beginning, with that perfect voice over. "Mememememe" xD Fantastic job!
Tons of small details which makes it better. Perfect entry.
But there is always something "bad", and I think that right panel with tabs is covering to much and I don's see an option to hide it. And I'm sure that there are spots to place rats.
Edit: Okey, it gets fixed later, when you get a promotion.

Good game its very repetitive well, it is a clicker.
How? How did you do it? You made pressing two buttons over and over and over and over again a BLAST! This game is funny, charming, clever and beautiful. It made me laugh out loud and the pixel art is truly wonderful. Well done now let me go ice my fingers.
This is probably the highest I've scored any game yet. So simple! So cute! SO funny! Amazing job team! My only criticism at all is that the font you used was a bit hard to read. Other than that, big thumbs up.
@bukkaketears we wanted that the player noticed how their influence started growing in the company with every new promotion. Maybe we should have made this more clear by removing the offices that you are not able to see :thinking: Thanks for the feedback! :smile:

Hey my game is very similar to this one, I have a hamster leveling up in a wheel! I love the voice acting in this game and the pixel art graphics are fantastic. It’s a lot like cookie clicker, which I also spent a lot of time playing 😂. Nice creative take on the theme !

Cool game! Fun take on the theme, but did not offer any gameplay hook that made me want to continue pressing a button. Also would have liked to see the wheel rotation look like it was spinning the right way, a lot of idle games can get by on looks and animation alone if it is something enjoyable to watch happen.
The fact that you need to press two buttons is an interesting take on a clicker game. The milestones were set up just right so the game didn't get stale. Since the gameplay loop isn't too complex there isn't a lot to say. Overall nice game!

@rhoff95 the wheel is kind of an optical illusion where some people see it in one way and others the other way around. Depth perception on circular objects is a tricky thing in pixel art :sweat_smile:
This might be my favorite game in the jam. Its hilarious, you guys actually put a message in a game about hamster wheels lmao, its easy to play - great graphics. I love the voice acting and story, that really made it for me. Overall, great job - one of the most memorable games in the jam
This is a great incremental. The humor is great, the background audio is great, the pixel art is great. I just hope my left/right arrow keys don't fall off now. Great entry!
