Bug that happened for me: Whenever the dog jumped down from the cars, the camera didn't follow it allow the way down and ground was cut off for me.

The art of this game is absolutely amazing, its so well mad and you can tell that it has the level detail of real paintings! Visually this game is magnificent! The camera has a weird glitch where it doesn't come back down to follow the player unfortunately, however the audio was also really fitting for the atmosphere of the game! It could have been longer but the again everything had to be hand drawn within a very small amount of time, but of what was there I really enjoyed it! made*
Had the same strange camera bug where the dog goes off the bottom of the screen. I loved the mood of the game and found what's been made so far really great. Just a shame it's not longer. Art stle is great and loved the sound. Hopefully there's more to come :)
Very interesting, great animation and theme.
Uh-uh, the camera locked in too high after a jump. Really nice graphics and scrolling. Took me a while to understand the first block could be moved. :) It's an art balancing time spent on graphics and coding. Perhaps this time too much time was spent on graphics. :)
Thanks for everyones' feedback! We are trying to fix the bug on the camera. Hopefully we'll be able to get things to where the ground is visible at the end. We do plan to keep working on this game. It's actually based on a series of stories that my father told me growing up. Cheers!

The art style is beautiful and the mood is great! It's a pity that it's so short.
It is more of a short animated story than a game, but very beautiful nevertheless. I'm not gonna lie (as I try to be as honest as possible in my reviews), I wasn't very much impressed by the gameplay. However, the art evened everything up! Animations and the backgrounds are very well made and if the gameplay was more interesting I dare to say that it would be one of my favourite games I've played so far. The music also fits the atmosphere very well. Anyway I'm glad I found your game and was able to enjoy the nice moody atmo :)

The art and music is beautiful, very short however. I don't see the theme of "Start with nothing" in the game.
Best looking game I have played so far. High quality audio too. However the short length is going to bug me for a while since I have no idea what's going to happen forward and since its about a dog I already had an emotional investment. lol. Well done
Wow, such an honest entry (meaning that you did great with the time,and everything is consistent and working). You made a beautiful prototype. I love the music the color palette, the story of the poor doggo, the neat animation, those beautiful 3d fences (brilliant!). Go on with this. First thing I'd love to see next would be a run mode :)

I agree with others that the aesthetic design is very neat. The story feels so sad that it almost hides the technical shortcomings :) On a serious note, the first issue I experienced was that many objects, including the cars, were positioned in such a way that it seemed they are a part of the background. Maybe you could have placed them closer to the camera - so that the dog tries to walk "as if through the center of them"? Other than that, I'm sure you are aware of the physics issues of jumping, and the worst part about it is probably the unnatural animation of jumping. But hey, it's a custom art and I know how much time it can take to fine-tune such a design :) As long as it's one of your first 2D side-view game, it's a great success and you have a great potential when you perfect this kind of graphical design!
Beautiful art and mood. Reminded me of kentucky route zero. As said before, it was pretty short and I didn't really feel a challenge, but it almost could work as a walking simulator anyways because it's so pretty.
It is cool that you have your own art and adnication. Also liked multilayered enviroment and paralax effect.
