Very cool concept! The controls felt clunky and first, but as you play and get used to the muscle memory of the elements and their respective directions - things got fairly fluid towards the end! I certainly wouldn't be sad for more levels! Lots of fun, thanks for the submission!

hellpug 2019-10-08 02:28

Game isn't aligned properly so it can't be played.

ectucker1 2019-10-08 03:02

The game looks pretty cool, but I'm getting an error whenever I hit the first enemy with a fireball. The message was: "RuntimeError: index out of bounds"

tokugawa1983 2019-10-08 05:15

just jump over spider

bredera 2019-10-08 09:04

cool little game, like the art! movement felt a bit clunky overall great job!

zimennik 2019-10-08 12:48

@hellpug @ectucker1 Thank you for feedback! We fixed this critical bug. You can try it now

P.S. Also yeah, you cant kill spiders. You shoud jump over them.

gabrielgamedev 2019-10-08 17:12

Very cool concept, very creative. It's a little difficult to play, remembering what the elements do and what the inputs are, but with time it gets used. It turns out to be more of a puzzle game than platform challenges, which I find quite interesting.

inky 2019-10-08 18:41

Cool concept, I liked how the camera panned out when I started playing, and how it tilts. Reminds me of Seasons After Fall, if you've never heard of it you might find it cool! It's a game that also uses the directional element selection, and you guys did that well.

ectucker1 2019-10-09 02:16

@zimennik thanks, I was able to get through the game this time. The combinations of elements were interesting, and definitely forced me to think a bit about what would work in different situations. Some of the platforming was a bit touchy, but the checkpoints were close enough that it never got too frustrating. I really liked the camera angle; it made the game feel more dynamic. Nice job overall!

nikita-lozhkin 2019-10-09 10:30

Nice! Polish & Publish!

aune 2019-10-09 10:42

Few minutes were needed to get into. After that it's really interresting. Nice job ! :)

druvsaft 2019-10-09 10:57

I like the idea of combining elements into different actions, but I couldn't really see a large connection between some of the elements and the action they represented (like water for jump or earth for pushing a button).

Maybe I was just playing the tutorial, but I would have liked to have to solve some of the puzzles on my own instead of being told the correct answer.

I got very nauseous from the camera panning motion as well, so I had to stop playing. I think you have to be careful with that type of movement of the camera, or give the player the option to turn it off (maybe you did, didn't see one).

I like the icons for the elements in the UI, they're very pretty!

asimov 2019-10-09 13:48

controlls aside this was a cool experience. Like Doodlegod but you can actually use your stuff. Cool concept, Art and fitting sound :)

huntrox 2019-10-09 14:36

didnt know what to do cant kill spider and i jumped over it but still cant finish it i like the idea elements with abilities makes the game unique

zimennik 2019-10-09 14:53

@huntrox It is unfortunate to hear that you are having problems playing the game. Indeed, you cannot kill a spider, just jump over.

annie-owl 2019-10-09 15:13

Fun game concept! Controls are a little bit confusing at first, but as you get a hang of it the game becomes pretty fun to play.

el-fideo-rubio 2019-10-09 17:45

Great game I love the presentation on this one really easy to pick up and really polish :)

fabula-rasa 2019-10-09 19:32

Fun game and really polished! I liked the graphics and the concept. But the controls felt really uncomfortable and I kept trying to press SPACE to jump ;).

toxiccomputer 2019-10-09 21:27

Loved the models. Good job!

cepblvl 2019-10-10 10:05

An interesting idea! Very interested!

oakwarrior 2019-10-10 10:06

Cute game, nice art :3

azamatika 2019-10-10 10:14

The controls and jumping system are bad as hell, brokes my gaming experience. Recommend to fix it and make more friendly (elements selection too, do not lock the arrow key after first selection).

zimennik 2019-10-10 10:26

@azamatika Too bad to hear it. Did you finished the game? It designed that you adapting to controll as you play.

azamatika 2019-10-10 10:34

Nevermind

poodle-in-need 2019-10-10 11:15

cool game man! Some of the effects are really cool. controls and stuff feels a little weird, and the environment has an atmosphere i dont find that appealing, but for a 3 days game it has quit much content and the whole thing is a great idea. I like it :v:

lonewolfdev 2019-10-10 11:33

Good one!! It's nice the way of changing between elements and combining them to go through the level. I like it!

luc-dercourt 2019-10-10 12:41

A very interesting concept ! It could use a little more explainations / theming but it is still a really great experience that could be expanded into a full-length game ! Congrats !

kuviman 2019-10-10 12:58

There needs to be some interaction with my friend in the end ;)

bilalch213 2019-10-10 13:01

Awesome idea and nice execution! Combining elemental abilities to get a special combo ability is a really decent concept. Maybe, more explanations would have helped alot. Controls can get a lot better.

lars-erik 2019-10-10 20:53

Very nice and cute little puzzle platformer. I was about to quit a few times, but it sucked me in again til the end. 👍

eranot 2019-10-11 11:00

In the first spider encounter my character just couldn't jump for some reason.

2-odd-diodes 2019-10-11 11:07

It's a little janky here and there, but I had a lot of fun playing it. The combining elements concept is pretty neat.

tero-pulkkinen 2019-10-11 13:18

the game looks amazing with many features and large world. Ha some difficulties with opening some of the doors, but anyway looks nice.

paullyaudet 2019-10-11 14:37

at first I wasn't really in the game, camera was a bit disturbing imo. But 15 minutes after, I finished the game and had a good time XD Nice job ^^

dodelov 2019-10-11 16:02

I really liked the combination of elements and the theme of the game as a whole. Sometimes the game freezes.

omickron 2019-10-11 18:27

Madly liked the combination of elements and the theme of the game as a whole. Sometimes the game would hang, but it's more of a weak computer. Beautiful and clear graphics.

daria-toni 2019-10-11 19:56

The controls are a bit, I'd say, tricky. Takes some getting used to. And I couldn't understand why it was water and not air to jump :) Strong sides - very nice atmosphere, music adds to the mood. Really interesting system of mixing elements, unique. Unfortunately, after my first use of meteor skill, I fall out on the bridge... what am I doing wrong?

zimennik 2019-10-12 09:07

@daria-toni this is a little metroidvania. After every obtained orb you can go trough path that was blocked before

onury 2019-10-13 17:11

Nice game,good job.

I found a bug :

ezgif.com-gif-maker.gif

zimennik 2019-10-13 22:15

@onury oh shit :smile:

goupixm 2019-10-14 16:55

The game is really well thought out ! I like the idea of having to combine the elements to make new things, but suddenly we tend not to retain them and therefore to forget what elements do what. But the game is great, the sound is really nice and the enemies and the main chara are really beautiful !

elysiagriffin 2019-10-30 02:30
