Pretty awesome game!
The art, music and gameplay fitted perfectly; there's some great teamwork here. I loved the music, and the procedural generation is pretty cool.
I've experienced a few bugs (sometimes the blocks aren't there, or I can't wall-jump off a wall), but when it does, it's super fun and enjoyable.
Great Job!
@agecaf thanks for the feedback. I'll check on the wall jumping if i can improve it. Not sure why it sometimes glitches and sometimes doesn't.

Wow great entry! I love the art and music. It fits really well together. As for me personally: when going on walljump missions I like it more to play with the gamepad, nice you gave me that option! I think however, it would be better to bind the movement to one of the joysticks, for me that feels more natural and easy to control.
Best part was when I discovered the suits. Felt so revarding!
@jackou I have a preference for the dpad, but i understand if the game doesn't use it for anything else i can just as well use both. That's a good idea. I'll add it to the improvements list. The swimming can probably be better controlled with a joystick also. Thanks for the feedback!

Nice game, I like how everything mixes together. Music switching to different "mode" on finding a suit was an especially nice touch. :) The levels are procedurally generated, I take it? Props for that if so. Mini-map was also great to have considering the maze-y levels structure. If I were to suggest something, it'd be making the map a bit bigger, but even that is just a small thing that doesn't detract from the experience.
Well done and thanks for the game!
@gil4 thanks for the feedback and the suggestion. I also find the minimap a bit small. So i will try to make it bigger after the jam. I was afraid it would get in the way of the player.
Cute! Nice graphics - obviously! I love the color palette that you chose. Admittedly I got lost in the maze a few times before I saw the convenient little map you put in there... Nice touch. I liked the other little touches you included like the change in music. It's these little things that some people put into their games that really make them stand out, in my opinion.
I honestly don't have anything major to critique. Fits the theme, great graphics and music, easy controls, solid build... Awesome entry!!
Loved the game. This is one of those where you can see the difficulty build up level by level even if there's only 4. My only gripe is that the suit doesn't regenerate if you are already wearing one so you have to wait for the current to run out. Also sick sick jams, congrats!
@katie-dover and @jesusache thanx for the feedback. Regrabbing a suit is something i also felt was a bit off in timing. I’m still pondering about how to fix it. Glad you also liked the color pallete, katie. It’s running past my bedtime here in Europe and i need to catch a train in a few hours, but i’ll definitly check both your entries later.
Loved the clean graphics, music and the feel of the game. I did feel like the game was a bit too easy for me and didn't feel much of a challenge in the levels. Still very well done entry!
Excellent graphics and sound! I had some trouble playing the game though. In some levels I can pass through some walls and can't seem to do wall jumps, other levels don't seem to have this problem. I found doing wall jumps rather frustrating, but it does add up to the frantic pace!
@crneumre I didn't want to make it to difficult. So more people could finish the game. Balancing a game that way in a weekend is pretty hard to do. Without the swim suits it was more difficult, but they where to fun not to add them ;) but thanx for the feedback
@loveapplegames Thanks for the compliment. When you have a suit on you can move through the acid that runs off the walls in the third level. Is that what you mean by passing through walls?
@loveapplegames You were right there was a small bug where there could be fake walls. See dev log on itch. Thank you for bringing that up.

Nice concept and use of the theme. It was a short and easy game, and that's good. I loved the graphics (which made me think in Fez) and the music, but the jump mechanic felt a bit weird and clumsy. I think the map is not necessary, or at least I never used it as a guide.
You already played our game The legend of the looter and the incredible backpack that never runs out of space, so we can't do anything but thank you.

I loved the music and graphics, the polish here is also very great! The jumping could perhaps use some tweaking. I found it hard control the wall jumps, I might've preferred the acceleration of the character to be a little faster so that you reach top-speed faster. Right now the character wall jumps automatically if you hold down the jump button, I think it would feel better if you jump to the wall, get stuck to it(maybe slides down at a slower speed than falling speed) and then need to press jump a second time to wall jump, but that could just be a matter of taste.
The minimap could also perhaps be made a little bigger so that it is easier to navigate the level, make it a bit transparent too so that it doesn't obscure the area it covers. It could alternatively be positioned slightly closer to the center, or in one of the lower corners of the screen(unless this proves to be a blind spot) so that it doesn't cover any part of the upper area where the player searches for a "destination" so to speak.
But these are minor things, overall, I'd say you have a great game here :D Well done!
Thanks @wildcard. Those are some very good suggestions. I'll have to make a study about wall jump mechanics, because a lot of commenters brought this up.

Very solid entry, everything is just fitting together to create great atmosphere. The only thing I would improve would be the jump physics / controls as those walljumps just didn't feel right for me. Maybe adding some force in the oposite direction of the wall?
Thanks for the feedback @wolar There is allready a force applied to bounce of the wall, but i’ll experiment adding some extra.

Oh very nice game. The theme was fitting, audio was great and visuals were unique and polished. Also the game was good fun to play! I would gladly Play this game with more features, well done!
I found this game to be really immersive. The art, music, etc, go along perfectly !
I just couldn't manage to get out of acid and walljump immediately after, which resolved in death in level 4 :(
Still a really nice game. Good work ^^

Fun game! I really liked the concept. I found it a little bit too easy (didn't die at all). Maybe would be better balanced with less orange suit pickups.
Hey @matank thanx for the feedback. We decided to add the suits to all dead ends, so players would not get trapped by the acid inside off a hall or against a ceiling. But yeah sometimes there are a lot of them.
@lekkel124 also thanks for the feedback. I'll see if i can find a windows pc this weekend to play your game.

Very nice game! I loved the graphics and the music. The whole idea is thought well and I loved playing it ! (even if I didn't pass the last level :/)
