This game is fun. However, repeatedly mashing the wasd keys to move proves to be annnoying. Also, the main menu button only works if the cursor is below the half way point. I voted on your game. Good job.

The controls seem a bit clumsy, getting stuck. I like the little animations :D also the theme is pretty nicely done.
Great puzzle, need more level ! The level2 is hard!
Pretty good! A few bugs here and there, as to be expected. The movement is a bit rough, especially when I'm sprinting to a block (here's looking at you, level 3) I'm spamming the arrow key as much as possible. Did really enjoy the mechanic of the top block being removed before the ground! Level 2 was an interesting puzzle. I didn't realize there were tutorials and was really confused, but when I went back and did them it cleared it up and was really neat! Good job :)
The visuals are great. It could have just been a webGL issue, but the controls felt really tough, seemed like I had to press twice each time to move. As @Cope said, had the same issue with the main menu button being finicky. You did a really good job putting together a lot of content, the only issues I have are more to do with bugginess than design, which it to be expected. Good work!
The premise is really good, but I had a hard time controlling the character. For the life of me I couldn't figure level 3 out. I was able to use the "blocks you're standing on don't disappear" trick to beat 2, but 3 completely eluded me. Good interpretation of the theme!
The Game was pretty good! I think the controls could use a little work and maybe you could add a background but other than that it was really good
The overall concept of the game is really interesting, and if there are no bugs, it plays quite nice, but thats also one of the small problems, there are quite a few bugs. Sometimes blocks I would move to would fall, or I could push a crate off the side and glitch under it, but once I figured out "How the bugs worked" and tried avoiding them, the game was really nice :D
Oh and the push sound has a really harsh frequency in it that starts to hurt a while after wearing headphones. Not a big deal but something to keep in mind
@stephen-coley Thank you! Yeah level 3 is prety hard. You have to rush back to the ship and push the blocks in front of it away and then push the block behind the ship and wait for the block to dissapear so you can get behind the ship. The movemont is indeed very clumsy, lack of time i would say.
@cope Thanks for the feedback! Yes the movement is very clumsy but did not have time to fix it :( I am glad that the bottom half of the button does work, i really don't know how that occured.
@fadex Thank you, i really liked doing the ships animation and sound so i am glad that you like it!
@chillen Yeah the tutorials are very necessary to get the destroying mechanic. Movement was quickly implemented in the beginning and i did not have time to change it anymore sadly. Thanks for playing!
@josh-riley Movement was quickly implemented in the beginning and i did not have time to change it anymore sadly, it is pretty clumsy. Thanks for the kind words and the feedback!
@sthor726 Thanks for the feedback! Yes the movement was planned to redo but i did not have enough time sadly. A background would be nice indeed.
@jelbre Yeah you don't want to see my spaghetti code haha, so there are some bugs that can be annoying. Thanks for the words!
Really great concept, it was just some of the finer details that I had issue with. For me, the sound of the moving objects was just a bit too much, which meant that I couldn't enjoy the game as much. That said, the music was fun and I actually started to enjoy the controls by the end of it, even though they were a little clunky. Most of all, the levels were fun and made you think, great stuff!
@doey Thank you! Nice to see that you liked the levels. Yeah i did the sounds in the last hour or so and should have planned more time for it.
Rapidly pressing the buttons was a bit of a pain, but I DID manage to beat it (with some help). The graphics and audio were simple but cute and fitting for a relatively straightforward game, which did a good job of embodying the theme! Congrats!
The controls are pretty frustrating, but the concept is neat and overall a nice little game!
@elfcirynn @incin Thanks for the kind words :)
Enjoyed the puzzles of the game: needing to wait until walls and blocks are removed before continuing on. The music got a bit repetitive. The controls were a bit clunky, but got the job done. Loved the humor and sarcasm of the text boxes. Would like to see compound goals and power ups if this game were to be continued!
I'm totally not good enough at these kind of puzzle games lol. I liked the gameplay, totally got the theme, and managed to walk off the level under an "N" block to be trapped in limbo till I restarted loo.
i love the idea, the platform going decay somewhat remind me of bastion visually in a way, the control very clunky, always getting stuck inside the rocket while pushing it
I'm afraid the arrow keys don't work for me :( ! Other than that I really like the simple pixel art and game concept ! Having the world slowly dissapear really fits nicely with the theme of the game jam ! Well done :) !
Controls were a little awkward but I like the style of the game.
@penguinpotential Thank you very much! I will take that into consideration if i decide to further develop this game.
@vulpineblazeyt Yeah the game had some bugs, due to the spaghetti code i reckon. Thanks for trying it out!
@ghen Thank you, i will check out bastion for sure. I coded pretty badly so there were bugs that i couldn't fix in time. Thanks for trying it out.
@noa-calice Oh thats a bummer, I thought those were in. Thanks for trying it out anyway although the controls are even more clunky on your azerty keyboard. Love your channel!
@dangogamedev I know, thank you!
Nice, the art was good. Not sure if it was just me, I had to double tap the arrow keys every time I wanted to move one tile. A single tap would only cause my character to change the direction they were looking. This greatly ruined my experience. Other than that, it seemed like it would be a solid block pushing puzzle game.
I love sokoban games, and having obstacles be removed with the world disappearing is a nice touch to fit the theme (even though if you stop and think about it makes no sense, heh).
Its a little awkward / buggy in places, but its a compo entry so its overly nit-picky to criticise for a lack of polish; if you wanted to continue work on it post-jam, I'd echo a lot of the comments on it being a little clunky and spending some time polishin that up would help a lot.
hi,
Nice graphics and style ( theme , menu , colors) Audio will definitely take it up a notch. A bit glitchy the guy was crushed under one of the boxes? Not sure if its webgl or a bug but game will not go back to main menu without refreshing the whole thing :). Great effort and design.
well done on finishing your game for this game jam. game art is cute. Try work on the controls a little bit though
I agree with others on the controls. It took me a life to realize it used sokoban rules, but otherwise it plays like I'd expect.
I realized after playing level 1 I should have started with T1 (T for tutorial! Doh!), so that may have saved me some grief.
Level advance would be nice, but compo deadlines can be unforgiving.
Love the little "shwoo" sound at the end.
Nice take on the Sokoban theme.. But Level T2 and Level 1 couldn't be finished. I did get in the plane and it left but I got the message that I failed after the island did fall apart. Level 1 worked on the 2nd attempt.
Good start! I included it in my compilation video series of the Ludum Dare 42 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/Bq9IqSUYX8Y
Great work! It's a nice concept and does fit the theme well. There was a couple of little bugs like getting stuck inside the plane when pushing it, but that can happen with a fast jam. Well done!
Nicely done! I like the idea and you managed to follow the theme really well. I read about the bugs before playing and still encountered them sometimes, which felt a little awkward. Other than that it was quite a fun puzzler.
A good game idea, the music should be improved. The graphics are good. But our game is better)))
Thank you for sharing your game with me. I played it on my stream tonight at https://www.twitch.tv/saoigames
I have rated your game, but all of my feedback was captured in the stream.
You can hear my comments in the archive at https://www.twitch.tv/videos/297482480
It's cool! I like the puzzles and the graphics and the world. There is a bug though, that you can get stuck in the ship when you're pushing it.
@bigbosserndog Thank you for playing, it is not just you sadly. This is because my movement code was put together really fast in the beginning and i unfortunately ran out of time to refine it. Thank you for the feedback!
@mrnyarlathotep I agree, sokoban games are great. So i decided to put my own spin on things (The world dissapearing). This ads a nice mechanic to the game in my opinion. Yeah a few buggs due to lack of time. I am going to add to the game and redo the code and release that new version in the future. So i will definetely get alot out of these comments. Thanks for playing and reviewing!
@vivek-sharma20 Hi, thanks for the compliments and constructive feedback. It looks like you encountered all the bugs ;) Being stuck under the plane is a bug and the main menu button only accepts clicks of the bottom half of it. Thanks for playing!
@enver-arco Thank you very much. I will definetely redo the controls!
@fireslash Thanks for the feedback! I will definetely add level advancement and a system to start the tutorial when you first boot it up, i might even make it only one level that covers all the mechanics because the tutorials feel very long. Controls will get an overhaul for sure. Thank you!
@smiley Thank you for trying it out! Yes the level endings sometimes dont trigger, i did not find out why sadly.
@jupiter-hadley Thank you for playing my game in your video! It is unfortunate that you did not get to play the real levels for the best experience. But i understand that it is to buggy.
@wongkongphooey Thanks for playing and understanding that these bugs happenes because i did not have enough time and overscoped the game a bit.
@jackou Thanks for the feedback! Yes the bugs ruin the experience quite a bit sadly.
@awix Thanks for the feedback, i agree that the sound is lacking. I will check out your game!
@saoi-games Thank you for trying it out and recording it! This really gave me good insight into someone that does not know the game very well, how they play etc. Thanks for the constructive feedback also. I liked your way of streaming, not rushing things and being really honest but cool about it. The bugs are quite unfortunate and really ruin the experience. You got a new follower and I will keep at it!
@meatpudding Thanks for the compliments! Yeah i know about that bug and it sadly ruins the experience a bit.
Tried the WebGL version and got through. The idea is interesting and the mechanics are innovative. Great job!
However, the bugs are annoying. Sometimes it did not move when pressing arrow keys, and sometimes I could even walk onto boxes. It would be much better if there is a bug free version.
