Best game ever
great game kinda short (but that's expected from a game jam) especially good job on the music i'll probably give you a pretty good rating when the judging opens
neat-looking design. i'll check it out when judging comes around
@keckles we're working on more levels! ...just wait :sparkles: on the music, ~~we stole it from~~ it was made by [505](http://fiveofive-music.com/), not us - so don't rate the game based on that, sorry :P
haha. right now we're just mass-producing levels and fixing bugs. also, @lightblub go to bed
cool and good
Nice game, I played it through all levels to the end!
Very nicely done. Game plays well; as a puzzle game would probably be enhanced with a few extra puzzle mechanics. Graphics are mostly pretty good - except for the bright red background color, which is a bit hard to look at.
I really enjoyed it, the wrapping mechanic was interestingly introduced/used. I liked the clean and simple art style and while I didn't notice it as a problem for me personally, I agree with @themonsterfromthedeep that it'd probably be worth at least investigating a less intrusive background colour.
The only thing I didn't ever figure out is what the difference between the purple/yellow platforms is...
A fun game with a rewarding wrapping mechanic. The minimalist art style works well, although it needs some colour adjustments. Music got repetitive and grating very quickly but all in all it was a neat experience!
@d3zmodos There is no difference between the purple and yellow platforms. I agree it is a bit confusing and I'm not sure why we went with that.
Some very clever puzzles with the wrapping mechanic - Though movement was a bit difficult (especially that early puzzle with the falling floors and jumping into a one-high gap). As has been said, great music/sound - and remarkably polished entry, very nice.
Cool! That was a fun little game. My favorite level was The End, just because I had that moment of "Wait a minute... I can just do this!" and I felt smart beating it using the wrap-around mechanic.
I think I would have enjoyed the game more if there were hard, obvious ways to beat the level, but subtle, slightly-easier ways to beat the level that only thoughtful players would come up with. As it was, most levels were just a linear path with no choices to make, so I pretty much turned off my brain while playing the game (which isn't necessarily a bad thing).
Very nicely polished, cohesive experience!
So good =). An advice for life is to make your spike hitboxes a bit smaller than the actual spike, making it less frustrating to collide with them (see all super hard platformers and you'll get what I am saying, their death things are almost always super fair). Great job!
Nice game that felt very complete. Only qualm I had with it was the size or rather the shape of the hitboxes on the spikes. They felt rectangular and at times I got hit even though I felt I should not have.
Nice game, great use of really minimal art to create a really poppy, interesting look.
Very, very nice! Great job, especially as a first LD entry. I love the tiny levels, simple but attractive gfx, and the high polish. As for feedback, I found one spike that didn't kill me, but that was actually pretty cool. Only one thing bugged me, and that was that dying and winning a level had the same sound effect and particle burst. A more cheery tune for completing a level would be nice. A couple of times I wasn't sure if I'd died or won! Overall, extremely good and solid, great fit for the theme, high marks all around!
The atmosphere is good and I really liked the music. It's a great idea to make the particles go away from the main area. I think the game is a little too hard but may be it's me . Especially when the "ball" falling to infinity, I think it's quite impossible to know when to start. Well done for your first ludumdare!
This was a lovely little game, it feels very complete yet open to poking in more mechanics. It's really nice that all of you had a hand at making levels.
I love the minimalist style/feel of it, but like others have said it gets a little hard to look at. Perhaps a toggle or variety of colour schemes would work? I do like this tiny play area within a sea of colour though.
Also I feel that the effect for hitting the goal should be different/more congratulatory, since it's the same as when you land on a spike. It feels a little negative even though that's the aim, though that could be down to the sound effect more than anything.
Really enjoyed playing this through to the end! Lovely, simple, well-realised concept. Great job on your first LD :D
Nice puzzle platformer. Simple mechanics, but they have the possibility of good depth. Nice job on your first jam game.
Cool little platformer, even if it is a bit short. Nice job!
