Oh wait, it's not published yet! Fixing it

silkworm_sweatshop 2016-08-28 16:28

There, it should work now!

boltkey 2016-08-28 22:49

Works now :).

Wow. This was very interesting. It was very funny, the funniest entry I played so far. I laughed out loud. Religion and art were my favorite parts.

My smile went away pretty fast at that war. That was very unexpected and quite strong actually. I was experiencing true fear as the unknown phantoms of the night were approaching me and I had no way to defend myself.

really enjoyable game, has some weird bug on my browser, but still one of the best games so far in my test journey thru all this submissions

Really cool concept! Could use some more variety in how the puzzles work. Graphics are really cool, and the ending was good. Well done!

Nice concept! I included it in my compilation video series of Ludum Dare 36 games, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/XIU4hYAXhy0

Good work! It was generally quite clear how to accomplish each task. I was a bit confused on the art task because it was a bit hard to pick up the pigment. I thought I had to drop the hammer first. Use of the particle effects to consistently indicate a hold was good.

Great game! Some of the levels were a pain because of the specific ordering (eg. the wheel).
The concept and execution were fun and unique with a dark twist at the end.

aschab 2016-08-30 17:10

nice concept, I applaud the graphics

petterbergmar 2016-08-30 18:12

This is very nice, smart and funny. Well done!!

ghostbomb 2016-08-30 19:06

Well, that took a dark turn...

leroyii 2016-08-30 19:57

I got a bit confused on "Discover weapons," but other than that it was a cool way to convey an idea using mechanics. Great job!

seleb 2016-08-30 21:03

The graphics are a bit simple, but it's a cool concept.

Bit of a tonal whiplash at the end though.

monkeybit29 2016-08-31 22:08

really cool idea and a nice dark twist, i really enjoyed the experience!

mine10blox 2016-08-31 22:13

That was crazy. Amazing game, loved the music, art and gameplay. Crazy twist, 11/10

pogo 2016-09-01 14:30

Good fun. Simple game, well executed. Religion made me giggle.

joemagiv 2016-09-01 20:04

Fun piece, definitely nailed the "warioware of mankind" concept. Just wish there was something more in terms of gameplay or challenge, maybe even a simple timer and a "you failed to evolve".

standardcombo 2016-09-04 06:30

Excellent design. Really enjoyed the narrative and the puzzles, except for the spear. I kept trying to attach the stone to the end of the spear, but that doesn't work, I have to attach it to the middle, which doesn't make sense.

franklins-ghost 2016-09-04 14:30

My favourite entry so far, liked the way it escalated and the different little simple puzzles you had to solve. Only issue I had is that I wanted more, which is always a good sign.

Hey, got around to playing this game on my channel:

Overall an amusing game, despite the dark twist :)
Could be expanded on by making each stage random, and some kind of failure. Maybe as player succeeds they go forward in time, but go back when they fail or something.

Thought it was pretty cool! I really appreciate the "figure it out yourself" design mentality of all the microgames. Some games, I felt, read better than others. I particularly struggled with the art one, mainly because it was really hard to click on the red rock shards while still holding holding the chisel. Ending was a interesting twist. I liked that you can get different readings from it depending on how you play (aggressive vs passive).

william_edwards 2016-09-07 07:15

A real sense of progression :)

I was rather hoping it would go all the way to the modern era and turn into a social commentrary on us un-learning and becoming regressive :)
